Objective: to verify the prevalence of sleep disorders and their associated factors in individuals with cancer affected by COVID-19. Method: cross-sectional study, conducted at the University of Passo Fundo between the months of May and August 2021, involving 1.042 individuals affected by COVID-19, who responded to a structured questionnaire through the Google Forms platform. Among these, 45 reported a history of cancer and were included in the analysis. Sleep disorders were assessed using the Pittsburgh questionnaire. Sociodemographic variables, specific information about COVID-19 and health conditions were collected using an anamnestic questionnaire. Participants’ characteristics were analyzed using the independent samples T-test and the Chi-square test. The factors associated with the dependent variable were identified using Poisson regression, with a robust variance approach. The significance level adopted was 5%. Results: the prevalence of sleep disorders was 68.9%, being significantly associated with the previous presence of lung disease (p=0.035) and smoking (p=0.002). Conclusion: the high prevalence of sleep disorders and associated factors in individuals with cancer affected by COVID-19 highlight the impact of the disease on this population.
