Childhood is the stage where children begin to learn and understand respect for others, and through the construction of pedagogical practices, the promotion of racial equality becomes more comprehensive. This research aimed at ethnic-racial relations in childhood, more specifically, in Early Childhood Education, with the general objective of intensifying the construction of identity. The justification for the elaboration of the study is to guarantee an education that overcomes racism and inequalities, in addition to promoting efforts to build children's identity. The methodology applied in carrying out this research is of a qualitative and bibliographic nature, based on observations and analyses on the subject. The results demonstrate that teachers and families, by continuing to carry out moments in which they address more about pedagogical practices for racial equality in early childhood education, can minimize the problem within the classroom, where it is understood that Eurocentric predominance, more popularly known as "white man". It is concluded that teaching ethnic and racial issues in the classroom from the first stage of education is of utmost importance for the practice of respect and equality in the social formation of the student. This research sought to analyze the impact of daycare on children's lives, taking into account an environment that is conducive to the student's first knowledge. The general objective was to investigate children's development, how students enter school and develop their skills throughout the school year; what is offered by daycare and the importance of activities carried out in the school environment. The research is qualitative in nature, applying a research methodology in which the research material is interpreted. The results obtained through the study show that daycare is an institution of great importance for children in the first years of life, since it is at school that they will develop their cognitive skills and, as a result, will be able to interpret the world in which they live, gaining comprehensive and useful knowledge. The activities offered by the institution, when carried out correctly, promote proficient development, given that playfulness is engaging and encourages children to use their imagination, follow commands, work on psychomotor skills, and expand their sense of self, him, and us. Playfulness makes the environment enjoyable and, in turn, children feel safe, which allows them to absorb knowledge, have contact with a different routine, and learn subtly in an environment that does not take away the essence of childhood, while at the same time allowing them to explore all the possible knowledge offered by the educational institution. This text aims to analyze the narratives of students regarding the process of documentation in the Early Childhood Education Internship course within the Pedagogy program. Methodologically, a qualitative research approach was developed, employing the method as deviation (Benjamin, 1986; Pandini-Simiano; Barbosa; Silva, 2018), within the scope of a Master's in Education (Santos, 2019). In this process, the documentation of daily life in a daycare was accompanied by a group of 18 students (2 male and 16 female) enrolled in the mandatory Early Childhood Education Internship course at a university located in the southern part of the state of Santa Catarina. The analysis, understanding pedagogical documentation as a unique narrative woven in the interaction between adults and children (Pandini-Simiano, 2015), revealed the challenges and possibilities involved in the documentation process. The findings highlight that the act of documenting during the internship allows for the weaving of an initial training journey grounded in experience, centered on the interactions between adults and children in educational contexts. This article describes and analyzes the school principals' conceptions of Early Childhood Education (EI) schools regarding the role of men at this level of education. With the qualitative research approach as a premise, data were obtained through interviews carried out with managers of six schools in the municipalities of Maua and São Caetano do Sul (SP). The results showed that the arrival of a male teacher in EI schools causes fear among managers and parents of students. This fear is linked to the fact that parents do not consider it viable for male teachers to have physical contact with children because they consider this to be an activity for female teachers. Discussions about gender are not common in ECEC schools, but, with the arrival of a teacher, the subject comes up among school professionals, but not among children who do not have these concerns. This research focused on the classroom management that a teacher performs during a problem formulation task with students in Early Childhood Education (4-5 years old). By means of a single case study, we focused on identifying the mathematical demands that the teacher establishes to favor progress in the formulation of a problem, the students' activity that triggers them and the relationships between both. The results indicate that most of the mathematical demands are oriented to favor the development of the context of the problem and reveal that the difficulties that trigger them are linked to the non-mathematical meaning of problem that prevails in the students. Early childhood education learning through the development of discoveries and new learning stimuli emerges as a highly reflective subject in the educational environment, highlighting the information that, from birth, we are already exposed to various stimuli that help in the formation of educational concepts and developments. The main objective of this article is to emphasize the importance of discovery and stimulation in early childhood education. The article is organized according to the conception of the child and their social skills and the perspective of the teacher in the face of learning stimuli. The justification for this basis arises as a new reflective look at the actions of the cognitive aspect of children, in addition to appreciating each phase of development. The starting point for the construction of the article addresses the problem sustained by the conception of not valuing important experiences of children's imagination through stimuli and new discoveries, often through simple play. The methodology is qualitative and used bibliographical analysis on the subject, as well as an analytical perspective within the educational space of children. The results achieved arise from the release of enriching information and the creation of new possibilities for encouraging educational stimulation. The conclusions emphasize and aggregate the spontaneous stimulation of children and the use of the educational professional for the integral development of the student. A formação docente nos Centros de Educação Infantil da cidade de São Paulo enfrenta desafios históricos e contemporâneos, especialmente relacionados à qualificação das práticas pedagógicas. A implementação de uma abordagem lúdica nos momentos do PEA (Projeto Especial de Ação), tem potencial para contribuir para a melhoria dessas práticas. Tem como objetivo principal apresentar uma discussão acerca de uma abordagem lúdica, fundamentada para os momentos de PEA. Realiza pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, analisando o documento do PEA com base no método de análise de conteúdo. A investigação discute sobre como a adoção de práticas lúdicas podem contribuir para a formação continuada dos professores, promovendo aprendizagens significativas, criatividade e reflexão crítica. Esclarece, ainda, o papel estratégico do gestor escolar na implementação e liderança de mudanças pedagógicas que favoreçam e superem as práticas colaborativas alinhadas às diretrizes curriculares. Por fim, reforça o potencial de superar resistências culturais da formação docente, sugerindo a formação de parcerias e a criação de condições para a incorporação efetiva da abordagem lúdica no contexto escolar.

Mosquitos são vetores que podem transmitir inúmeras doenças e o Aedes aegypti, um dos mais conhecidos, é responsável por propagar a dengue, zika e chikungunya. Repelentes, como o DEET, IR3535 e icaridina, são substâncias que inibem sua aproximação e, consequentemente, previnem essas doenças. Com o objetivo de informar adultos e gestantes e conscientizar crianças e adolescentes oriundos da rede estadual de ensino sobre o uso correto dessas substâncias para a prevenção de doenças causadas pelo Aedes aegypti, a equipe de pesquisa formada por graduandos e pós-graduandos, docentes e farmacêuticos da Farmácia Universitária da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), elaborou materiais informativos e jogos interativos, com o auxílio da Escola de Belas Artes da UFRJ, e promoveu palestras para o público adulto e gestantes em diferentes instituições públicas e privadas na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. O conhecimento anterior observado entre eles a respeito do tema foi irregular, tendo o público mais jovem melhor performance. Uma formulação repelente simples também foi desenvolvida, distribuída gratuitamente e prontamente aceita pelos participantes. As campanhas promoveram a interação entre farmacêuticos, alunos e a comunidade, reforçando a importância de trabalhos que aproximem universidade e sociedade. Outras deverão ser realizadas para ampliar a disseminação das informações sobre essas doenças. Palavras-chave: Dengue; Zika; Chikungunya; Promoção de Saúde; Educação Infantil Awareness-raising actions for the use of repellents and fighting the mosquito Aedes aegypti Abstract: Mosquitoes are vectors that can transmit several diseases, and Aedes aegypti, well-known for that, is responsible for spreading dengue, zika, and chikungunya. Repellents, such as DEET, IR3535, and icaridin, are substances that inhibit their attack and consequently prevent those diseases. In order to (i) inform adults and/or pregnant women and (ii) raise awareness among children and adolescents from the state school system about the correct use of repellents against diseases caused by Aedes aegypti, the research group composed of undergraduate and graduate students, professors and pharmacists of the University Pharmacy of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro prepared information brochures and interactive games, in partnership with the UFRJ School of Fine Arts, and promoted lectures for adults and pregnant women in different public and private institutions around the city of Rio de Janeiro. Their prior knowledge about the theme was constrained, with the younger audience performing better. A simple repellent formulation was also developed, freely distributed, and promptly accepted by participants. The initiatives promoted interaction between pharmacists, students, and the community, reinforcing the importance of actions that bring the university and society closer together. Este ensaio aborda a mediação, a formação docente e os processos de leitura, escrita e brincadeira na Educação Infantil, reconhecendo-os como elementos fundamentais para a construção da cultura escrita e a formação dos sujeitos, em especial das crianças, à luz do sistema simbólico. A análise é norteada pela questão: como superar lacunas na prática pedagógica, a fim de promover uma integração efetiva entre o brincar, a linguagem escrita e a formação docente na Educação Infantil? Respaldada numa pesquisa qualitativa e bibliográfica, com base nos estudos de Conceição (2018), Nóvoa (2022), Paulo Freire (1996, 2010), Soares (1999) e Vigotski (1988, 1998, 2003), compreende-se que o brincar constitui a base para os processos de mediação e formação docente, estreitamente relacionado à cultura. Nesse contexto, entende-se que a inventividade humana, que entrelaça linguagem e realidade, representa tanto um direito das crianças quanto um desafio para a formação docente.

O artigo tem como objetivo relatar as vivências e reflexões éticas produzidas em uma etnografia com crianças, com idade entre 3 anos e 5 anos e 11 meses, que frequentam a Escola Comunitária de Educação Infantil, situada na área territorial do Aterro Sanitário Municipal, no Litoral Norte Gaúcho, representado emicamente como lixão, durante o procedimento de apresentação do Termo de Assentimento Livre e Esclarecido. Metodologicamente, escolhemos a etnografia com crianças e adotamos o diário de campo como instrumento. A reflexividade foi construída com base teórica nas produções recentes no campo dos Estudos Sociais da Infância. Os achados mostram a emergência de refletir sobre os modos de participação e escuta das crianças, sobretudo trazendo para o TALE e para os textos das pesquisas suas contribuições.

Resumo O artigo pretende analisar as diferentes possibilidades de avaliação de contexto da educação infantil (EI) no Brasil, no que tange aos objetivos, métodos, instrumentos e resultados, defende a necessidade de propostas que articulem avaliações externas e a autoavaliação, e intenciona promover debates no campo. Apresenta pesquisas brasileiras realizadas em todas as regiões do país, as quais, por meio de avaliações externas, sinalizam a baixa qualidade do atendimento, como forma de argumentar sobre a importância do trabalho de avaliação. O artigo aponta a necessidade da geração de mais dados e conhecimento que contribuam para a melhoria da qualidade da EI. Tais dados e conhecimento poderão informar e envolver todos: pesquisadores, gestores, equipes pedagógicas e comunidade escolar.

Trata-se de um relato de experiência com a finalidade de descrever a vivência de discentes da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS) durante a ação no projeto de extensão intitulado Socorristas Mirins: ensinando crianças a salvar vidas. Este projeto visa capacitar crianças para exercer práticas iniciais de suporte básico de vida, utilizando a música como ferramenta auxiliadora na aprendizagem dos primeiros socorros. As músicas com os temas relacionados aos primeiros socorros foram criadas pelos discentes, aproximando e facilitando a aprendizagem das crianças. Foram realizadas visitas às escolas públicas e privadas com a equipe do projeto, constituída por docentes e discentes da UFS, campus Lagarto-Sergipe. Nessas visitas, os discentes promoveram a capacitação dos primeiros socorros, alinhando-se ao universo infantil e elencando os conteúdos de uma forma lúdica, dinâmica, criativa, eficaz e adequada à idade. Ao final das visitas, as crianças tornaram-se capacitadas com as habilidades sugeridas, dispondo a música, papel essencial nos resultados alcançados.

Considerando que crianças pré-escolares têm acesso à tecnologia cada vez mais cedo, é fundamental compreender como as histórias digitais podem auxiliar no aprendizado de vocabulário. O objetivo deste estudo foi comparar os efeitos de duas intervenções na aprendizagem de palavras por crianças pré-escolares: "Leitura Sem Perguntas" (LSP), em que histórias pré-gravadas eram apresentadas por um notebook, sem interação adicional, e "Leitura Com Perguntas" (LCP), que incluía um diálogo pós-leitura com perguntas pré-definidas feitas pelo pesquisador. Participaram 12 crianças (37-59 meses, oito meninas). Utilizamos um delineamento quase-experimental de tratamentos alternados adaptado. Cada participante foi exposto a dois livros digitais (um para cada condição, quatro sessões de leitura para cada livro), contendo seis palavras-alvo não familiares, em sessões individuais. Cada palavra-alvo era apresentada duas vezes em cada livro. A aprendizagem das palavras-alvo foi medida em tarefas de nomeação, emparelhamento ao modelo e recontagem de histórias. A maioria dos participantes mostrou melhora no desempenho em todas as tarefas, em ambas as condições, mas nenhuma condição foi superior à outra, sugerindo que a mediação de um adulto fazendo perguntas genéricas sobre a história não potencializou a aprendizagem de novas palavras na situação estudada. Sugere-se que a apresentação de histórias digitais, com arranjos específicos na apresentação do vocabulário novo, pode ser eficaz para o ensino de palavras, independentemente da mediação de um adulto.

Este artigo discute o papel da escola na prática da leitura e escrita na Educação Infantil, destacando a importância da mediação do professor, da leitura compartilhada e da presença da linguagem escrita nos contextos de aprendizagem para o desenvolvimento integral da criança. A pesquisa baseou-se em revisão bibliográfica de obras de autores que abordam temas como: leitura literária e linguagem escrita na Educação Infantil. Embasados na Teoria Histórico-Cultural, os estudos indicam que a escola desempenha um papel fundamental na humanização da criança, promovendo a apropriação dos conhecimentos culturais também por meio da prática da leitura compartilhada. Sendo assim, a mediação do professor é essencial para orientar o desenvolvimento das capacidades leitoras e escritoras das crianças, proporcionando experiências significativas com a literatura e práticas com a linguagem escrita. Espera-se que este estudo ajude a contribuir para a reflexão e aprimoramento das práticas pedagógicas na Educação Infantil, destacando a importância de uma abordagem centrada na leitura compartilhada e na valorização da linguagem escrita como ferramentas essenciais para o desenvolvimento cultural da criança. Além disso, o artigo busca discutir subsídios para práticas pedagógicas mais eficazes e alinhadas às necessidades do desenvolvimento infantil na primeira etapa da Educação Básica.

A leitura compartilhada de livros na primeira infância é importante para o desenvolvimento linguístico das crianças. Entretanto, intervenções que usam a leitura compartilhada para desenvolver a linguagem oral e escrita das crianças têm demonstrado resultados conflitantes. Isso pode ocorrer devido aos diferentes delineamentos das intervenções. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi mapear estudos de intervenção sobre os efeitos da leitura compartilhada de livros de histórias no desenvolvimento linguístico de crianças na Educação Infantil. Para tanto, adotamos as estratégias de Revisão Sistemática da Literatura e seguimos o protocolo Preffered Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). Foram realizadas buscas nas bases de dados Eric, Medline, Scielo, Pepsic, Psyc Info e Jstor Journals. Os grupos de palavras-chave que constaram em nossas pesquisas são: (“shared book reading” OR “dialogic reading” OR “Interactive reading” OR “emergent literacy” OR “early literacy”) AND (preschool OR “child education”) AND (reading OR literacy). As etapas de seleção dos estudos foram realizadas por dois revisores independentes. Foram incluídos estudos de intervenção que se concentravam em histórias compartilhadas e desenvolvimento linguístico de crianças de três a seis anos de idade, publicados entre os anos de 2017 e 2022. Foram excluídos estudos que não atendiam aos critérios pré-determinados. A seleção final resultou em 16 artigos que foram analisados para identificar os efeitos da leitura compartilhada no desenvolvimento linguístico das crianças. Os resultados da análise dos estudos selecionados corroboram pesquisas anteriores que oferecem evidências de que a leitura compartilhada de livros contribui positivamente para o desenvolvimento linguístico das crianças.

Este artigo é parte de uma dissertação de mestrado concluída que aborda percepções de professoras de Educação Infantil a respeito da formação continuada para a inclusão de crianças com Transtorno do Espectro Autista. Parte-se da questão: como se dá o processo de inclusão de crianças com TEA na Educação? O objetivo é analisar percepções de professoras e enfatizar as dificuldades que enfrentam na Educação Infantil. A pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa, de caráter interpretativo, com coleta de dados por meio de entrevistas com oito professoras de quatro Centros de Educação Infantil de um município de Santa Catarina. Os resultados indicam insegurança por parte das professoras regentes devido à falta de formação continuada voltada à inclusão, de espaços adequados e apoio para a inclusão.

Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir sobre o ensino de Matemática na educação infantil com base no movimento lógico-histórico, a partir da fundamentação teórica do Materialismo Histórico-Dialético e da Teoria Histórico-Cultural. Defende-se que o ensino de Matemática seja intencionalmente planejado pelo professor na perspectiva do pensamento teórico dialético desde a educação infantil. Destarte, o pensamento conceitual e científico é a base das neoformações e do processo de aprendizagem. O conceito é produto das necessidades sociais, sendo, assim, direcionado por um motivo. Apresenta-se a Atividade Orientadora de Ensino como base teórico-metodológica para a formação do pensamento conceitual nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem e as Situações Desencadeadoras de Aprendizagem como recurso para sistematizar um problema desencadeador da aprendizagem de determinado conceito. Este artigo é resultado de uma pesquisa teórico-bibliográfica, fundamentada no movimento logico-histórico. Nesta perspectiva, apresentamos as Situações Desencadeadoras de Aprendizagem como possibilidades para o trabalho docente, propondo, como exemplo, uma atividade baseada na história virtual do conceito. Espera-se ter contribuído para a defesa do ensino desenvolvente na educação infantil e da importância da aprendizagem no desenvolvimento do psiquismo humano.

Sendo a migração infantil um fenômeno crescente na atualidade, é necessário refletir sobre a inserção de crianças migrantes em instituições educacionais, como forma de garantir seus direitos. O objetivo deste artigo é discutir a interação e sociabilidade entre crianças brasileiras e haitianas (3 a 6 anos) em Núcleos de Educação Infantil (NEIs). A pesquisa, qualitativa, fez uso de técnicas da etnografia (notadamente a observação participante) para a geração de dados junto a crianças haitianas e brasileiras, adultos haitianos, e docentes de dois NEIs do Município de Balneário Camboriú (SC). Os dados também foram gerados através de conversas com crianças e adultos, e por meio de um livro de história sobre a migração haitiana, de autoria da pesquisadora (com a participação das crianças como ilustradoras). As observações foram registradas em diário de campo e foram realizados registros fotográficos do cotidiano escolar. A investigação foi fundamentada nos Estudos Sociais da Infância, que reconhecem a criança como ator social de pleno direito e produtora de cultura, e nos estudos das relações étnico-raciais, que evidenciam as desigualdades entre crianças pertencentes a diferentes grupos étnicos raciais. Diferentemente de outras pesquisas, não foram observados comportamentos discriminatórios de teor racista entre as crianças nas instituições investigadas; pelo contrário, foram percebidos laços de amizade infantil construídos no cotidiano escolar de contexto migratório, onde as crianças haitianas se destacavam pelo protagonismo e liderança exercidos nas interações entre pares. Algumas hipóteses sobre a ocorrência dessa diferença para outras pesquisas são levantadas no interior do artigo.

O artigo é um recorte de uma pesquisa de Doutorado em Educação que discute o lúdico no Currículo do Curso de Pedagogia do Campus de Caxias-UEMA e suas possíveis implicações na formação do/a professor/a de Educação Infantil, fundamentada no Materialismo Histórico-Dialético. Insere-se no quadro teórico-metodológico da pesquisa qualitativa, bibliográfica e documental. Está fundamentado em teóricos como Martins (2010), Freitas (2002), André (2009), Teles (2018), Freire (2015), Saviani (2008), Vygotsky (2001, 2003), entre outros, e em documentos oficiais que direcionam historicamente a formação de professores, com destaque para a LDBEN/1996, o PNE/2014 e as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para a Formação de Professores da Educação Básica em nível Superior, estabelecidas a partir do Parecer do CNE/CP nº 9, de 8 de maio de 2001 e da Resolução CNE/CP nº 1, de 18 de fevereiro de 2002. O estudo permitiu compreender alguns enfoques curriculares que impactam a formação inicial de professores, seus modos de ser e de se fazer na profissão docente, e mais especificamente, a necessidade de formação de professor/a da Educação Infantil pautada na omnilateralidade.

Este artigo teve como objetivo inventariar, na literatura, a existência de saberes que podem caracterizar a identidade docente na educação infantil e destacar quais seriam aqueles que podem contribuir para a prática pedagógica nesta etapa da educação básica. A pesquisa, de caráter bibliográfico, teve como objeto de investigação a revisão da produção científica da área da educação e o mapeamento teve como fonte, a base de dados dos Anais da Associação Nacional de Pós-Graduação e Pesquisa em Educação (ANPEd), no recorte temporal de 2011 a 2021, partindo das expressões: Educação infantil; Trabalho docente; Saberes; Fazeres. A análise se deu a partir de leituras, exploração e apreciação de trabalhos neste período, nos quais a construção dos saberes docentes é iniciada durante a formação profissional e são aprimorados ao longo das trajetórias via vivências e experiências pedagógicas. Ainda que o trabalho do professor, de forma isolada, não seja capaz de promover as mudanças desejadas no campo educacional, pois depende de diversos fatores, é durante a sua constituição identitária que os saberes são mobilizados, pressupondo-se a partir destes, a produção de novos saberes, que promovam mudanças no fazer pedagógico. Isso remete a (re)conhecer estes saberes na inventariação da literatura na área, assim como a constituição docente dos professores da educação infantil.

Este artigo objetiva analisar enunciados em entrevistas de professoras da Educação Infantil com vistas a compreender como a identidade docente se constitui nessa discursividade. O trabalho ancora-se teoricamente nos estudos educacionais que discutem sobre educação, professores, formação docente, Educação Infantil e na Análise do Discurso (AD) derivada do olhar pecheutiano e foucaultiano, em textos que tratam das noções de discurso, interdiscurso, arquivo e enunciado. Além dos estudos culturais sobre a definição de identidade, dentre outros autores que nos auxiliem na discussão da temática. A metodologia utilizada é de cunho qualitativo e interpretativo assentada na entrevista semiestruturada realizada com quatro professoras na geração dos dados. Como resultados, interpretamos que a identidade dessas professoras encontra-se em permanente construção, sendo inacabadas e perpassam a linguagem e histórias de vida no discurso educacional. Concluímos que os enunciados produzem efeitos de sentido identitários em meio às regularidades discursivas e histórica de sua emergência na contemporaneidade.

The aim of this study was to qualitatively evaluate the interactions and oral productions of an intervention for the acquisition of Social Skills (SS) by students in the 4th year of Primary School I, using storytelling and yoga. This is a descriptive, crosssectional study of a qualitative nature. Sixteen students aged between 9 and 11 from a municipal school in Rio de Janeiro took part. A 90-minute session was held, combining the story "The Turtle" with yoga asanas, circle discussion and psychoeducation activities. The IRAMUTEQ software was used to analyze the data using the word cloud technique, which allowed for a more general understanding of the results. For a more in-depth investigation, a thematic content analysis was carried out according to Bardin. The words with the highest frequency were: "people", "play", "be", "difficult" and "hand"; while the thematic analysis identified five main categories: Children's Interest, Difficulties Faced at School, Identifying Feelings, Reactions to Difficult Situations and Activity Feedback. The critical analysis shows that interventions based on storytelling and yoga can be effective tools for promoting a safer and more welcoming school environment, improving interpersonal relationships and greater communicability between students. In conclusion, the intervention highlighted the importance of permanent programs to promote HS in schools and their possible contributions to improving children's oral communication. This essay discusses about the perspectives of anti-racist curriculum in the context of Early Childhood Education, using popular dances for the materialization of its actions. In dialogue with authors who discuss curriculum, epistemologies and decolonial perspectives, it aims to gather reflections on other curricular arrangements, which contemplate cultural diversities and differences through afro-brazilian popular dances, which have historically been silenced or treated in a caricatured manner and superficial in school institutions. In methodological terms, references were selected for dialogues that encompass the perspective of anchoring (decolonial studies), the articulated topics (curriculum, anti-racist practices and dances), the legal bases linked (in this case, to the teaching of Afro-Brazilian history and culture) and contextual data, with a view to combining description, analysis and propositions in the composition of reflections located in the field of Early Childhood Education. Conclude that investment in teacher training is crucial to support pedagogical work with popular dances, broadening the vision of curriculum and anti-racist education. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

RESUMO: No Brasil, a crescente oferta do ensino de inglês para crianças da educação infantil tem provocado reverberações em diferentes âmbitos e ampliado as discussões sobre visões de currículo (e educação docente para atuar no referido contexto. Considerando os desdobramentos de políticas de ensino e políticas linguísticas, bem como as vozes dos sujeitos envolvidos, as quais refletem e refratam motivos e justificativas para a inserção do ensino da língua inglesa desde os anos iniciais de escolarização, verificam-se movimentos que interpelam e reforçam visões do que significa ser professora de inglês para crianças pequenas. No bojo das discussões, sentidos de educação linguística crítica e de linguística aplicada crítica são caros na construção dos argumentos dessa proposta. Este artigo objetiva discutir, a partir de duas pesquisas de doutorado, conceitos centrais acerca de construções curriculares, iniciativas voltadas à formação de professoras, em especial no âmbito do estágio supervisionado, para atuar no referido contexto e ações de extensão que desencadeiam possibilidades de reimaginar e concretizar ações sobre o que significa a oferta da educação linguística em inglês para crianças no país. Escolheram-se os estudos acima mencionados porque são pesquisas desenvolvidas a partir das realidades brasileiras no contexto em tela e ambas argumentam por um fazer pesquisa socialmente relevante, contextualmente sensível e relacionalmente ético entre os indivíduos envolvidos. Além disso, entendemos, também, que eles são ilustrativos de uma crescente tendência da consideração de perspectivas críticas na pesquisa e na educação linguística em inglês com crianças. A análise do material empírico indicou que a não curricularização da educação linguística em inglês com crianças no Brasil oportuniza experiências e práticas, ensinando-nos que a formação de professoras acontece em diferentes espaços: disciplinas em cursos de graduação, de pós-graduação e, em especial, nas práticas, na extensão, no estágio supervisionado, no chão da escola. Introduction: The development of executive functions in the self-regulation of behavior and the development of higher-order cognitive processes highlight their importance in academic success. Some studies suggest that there may be a relationship with creativity, making it highly relevant to determine the developmental processes of both concepts and to explore their relationship. Objective: To study the relationship between executive functions and creativity in a sample of students aged between 3 years and 5 years and 11 months. Materials and Method: The BRIEF-P (Gioia et al., 2016) was used to measure executive function, and Tuttle's creativity questionnaire (1980) was used to measure creativity. The correlation was measured using parametric statistics. Results: The results showed a statistically significant relationship between creativity and the Global Executive Function Index (GEFI), with a significant correlation with the Emerging Metacognition Index (EMI). However, no relationship was found between the Inhibitory Self-Control Index (ISCI) and the Flexibility Index (FI). Younger students showed more difficulties in the scales of inhibition, flexibility, and emotional control. Conclusions: The existence of a relationship between executive function and creativity opens the door to further research in this field, with an expansion of the sample size being necessary.
