Introduction: The methodological preparation of academic directive of the Main Integrative Discipline Integral Stomatology is essential to achieve an educational process with quality, when contributing the integral formation of the graduate. Objective: To design an instrument for the evaluation of the methodological preparation of the academic directive of the Main Integrative Discipline Integral Stomatology. Methods: A descriptive, traverse, observational study was carried out in the Stomatology Faculty, University of Medical Sciences of Santiago from Cuba, from January to May 2023. For the design of the instrument dimensions and indicators were selected according to pedagogic, methodological investigative and managerial approaches; the proposal underwent consideration of a group of experts that completed the inclusion requirements and evaluated it through a Likert scale with three alternatives: very good agreement, in agreement and in disagreement. Theoretical: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction; empiric: documental revision, and statistical: percentage like summary measure methods were used. Results: The instrument proposed had three dimensions and 18 indicators; 61,1 % of the experts was very of agreement with the proposal. Conclusions: The instrument designed to evaluate the methodological preparation of the academic directive of the Main Integrative Discipline Integral Stomatology is useful, novel, of easy application, that obtained an evaluation of very good agreement in more than half of the experts. Objetivo: Diseñar un instrumento para evaluar la preparación metodológica de los directivos académicos de la Disciplina Principal Integradora Estomatología Integral Métodos: Se realizó una investigación observacional descriptiva transversal en la Facultad de Estomatología, Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Santiago de Cuba, de enero a mayo de 2023. Para el diseño del instrumento se seleccionaron dimensiones e indicadores según criterios pedagógicos, metodológicos investigativos y gerenciales; la propuesta se sometió a consideración de un grupo de expertos, que cumplieron los requisitos de inclusión y la evaluaron a través de una escala de Likert con tres alternativas: muy de acuerdo, de acuerdo y en desacuerdo. Se emplearon métodos teóricos: análisis y síntesis, inducción y deducción; empírico: revisión documental, y estadístico: porcentaje como medida de resumen. Resultados: El instrumento propuesto contó con tres dimensiones y 18 indicadores. De los expertos 61,1 % estuvieron muy de acuerdo con la propuesta. Conclusiones: El instrumento diseñado para evaluar la preparación metodológica de los directivos académicos de la Disciplina Principal Integradora Estomatología Integral es útil, novedoso, de fácil aplicación, que obtuvo valoración de muy de acuerdo en más de la mitad de los expertos.

To evaluate professional records of prenatal care in electronic medical records in a city in Ceará. Retrospective, cross-sectional, and descriptive study, carried out through the analysis of medical records of pregnant women followed up at a Family Health Unit during the period from January 2021 to December 2022. The data collec-tion instrument contains sociodemographic information, obstetric history and care. The data were analyzed based on absolute and relative frequencies. The percentage of suitability of consultations decreased as more cri-teria were used to assess quality, at level 1 it presented 73.1% suitability, at level 2 57.7%, at level 3 53.8% and at level 4 50.0%. Prenatal care was in compliance with Ministry of Health guidelines. However, weaknesses were identified in the patients' electronic medical records, especially related to sociodemographic information. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

La ansiedad es un problema psicológico recurrente en adultos de población general, siendo un factor de riesgo a otros desórdenes de salud física y mental. Dado estos problemas, es necesario disponer de un instrumento confiable para evaluar la ansiedad e identificar los probables casos. El objetivo del estudio fue analizar las fuentes de evidencias de validez del Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) en adultos peruanos de población general. Los participantes fueron seleccionados por muestreo de conveniencia y criterios de inclusión. Un total de 567 adultos residentes en Lima contestaron el GAD-7 y otro instrumento psicológico. Los análisis se realizaron a partir de la Teoría Clásica de los Test y Teoría de Respuesta a los ítems. Se evidenció una estructura unidimensional con índices de ajuste adecuados, aceptable confiabilidad, invarianza de medición para sexo y edad, evidencia de relación con la desesperanza y parámetros α y β adecuados para los ítems, siendo la escala más útil en niveles altos de ansiedad. En conclusión, las inferencias e interpretaciones realizadas a partir de sus puntuaciones son adecuadas en adultos peruanos, recomendando su uso para evaluar la ansiedad y realizar análisis comparativos sin sesgo de medición para los grupos de sexo y edad.

Objetivo: analizar el alcance de los indicadores de desempeño del Programa Previne Brasil de Atención Primaria a la Salud. Método: para ello, se realizó un estudio observacional, descriptivo, con abordaje cuantitativo, utilizando datos secundarios, referentes a los años 2020 y 2021, en las cinco regiones brasileñas (Norte, Nordeste, Sur, Sudeste y Centro Oeste), disponibles en el Sistema de Información de la Atención Primaria de Salud. Se utilizaron estadísticas descriptivas, frecuencias relativas y medidas de tendencia central y modelación semiparamétrica considerando un intervalo de confianza del 5%. Resultados: hubo evidencia de evolución en las tasas de los indicadores de desempeño en la mayoría de las regiones brasileñas en 2021, en comparación con 2020, sin embargo, las Regiones Norte y Centro Oeste presentaron tasas incipientes o negativas, en comparación con la Región Sudeste. A pesar de la evolución en las tasas de los indicadores, pocos estados lograron alcanzar las metas establecidas por el Ministerio de Salud para las acciones estratégicas de atención prenatal y salud de la mujer, mientras que ningún estado logró la meta en la acción estratégica de enfermedades crónicas. Conclusión: se considera importante acompañar la evolución de los indicadores actuales, previendo su calificación para que puedan evaluar el seguimiento y la atención primaria en salud, así como garantizar la consecución de las metas asegurando la financiación de las acciones de atención primaria.

Background: Health Technologies (HT) are important to make appropriate decisions in the field of health. The need to standardize TS evaluations is highlighted, since there are currently differences in the methods and recommendations used. In addition, the lack of trained human resources to carry out these evaluations is mentioned, as well as the long times they can take. Therefore, it is essential to prioritize the technologies to be evaluated to maximize available resources. In Latin America, the health technology prioritization process presents various barriers, such as the lack of an explicit and formal prioritization process in most countries. These barriers include fragmentation of health services, disagreement among stakeholders, and fear of reduced discretion in decision-making. Despite these difficulties, prioritization processes have been developed based on different methodological frameworks, which must be transparent, systematic, efficient, explicit and consensual. Therefore, it is necessary to have reference frameworks to evaluate the impact of these technologies on healthcare. The importance of declaring conflicts of interest in the evaluation of health technologies and how industry influence can affect the evaluation process is highlighted. Objetivo. Obtener un consenso entre un grupo de expertas/os sobre el contenido de un cuestionario de evaluación de las funciones de la atención primaria (PCAT) para ser aplicado en servicios de salud bucal de Argentina. Métodos. En un proceso de adaptación transcultural, se aplicó el método Delphi. En la fase preparatoria, el equipo coordinador elaboró las herramientas de trabajo (PCAT para servicios de salud bucal y formulario de trabajo) y se invitó a participar por email a 24 personas con experiencia en provisión de servicios de atención primaria y salud bucal, docencia y/o investigación en este campo y gestión de servicios e instituciones sanitarias. En fase de consulta se valoró el contenido del cuestionario en las siete dimensiones del modelo teórico. Se procesaron las respuestas cuantitativas y cualitativas, se construyó el consenso y se comunicaron los resultados. Resultados. Participaron 18 expertas/os y en una única ronda de consulta se obtuvo un consenso positivo de más del 90% (votos: totalmente de acuerdo/ de acuerdo) en la mayoría de las dimensiones (primer contacto, longitudinalidad, coordinación, integralidad, enfoque familiar, orientación comunitaria e idoneidad cultural) respecto de la relevancia y exhaustividad (contenido) de los ítems que integran el cuestionario. En respuestas abiertas, el grupo realizó aportes sobre perspectivas de atención centrada en las personas abordando las diversidad de género y sexualidades, discapacidad y otras. Conclusiones. El cuestionario PCAT para servicios de salud bucal fue valorado positivamente y hubo acuerdo sobre el contenido. La adaptación del instrumento terminará con una prueba piloto.

Suicidal ideation are thoughts related to death, with or without planning the place or the methods that would be used to kill oneself. Suicidal ideation has been shown to be more prevalent in adolescence, a crucial stage during human development. Identifying and intervening these problems is of utmost importance to prevent suicidal behaviors and the comorbidity of other psychological problems that can worsen the mental and physical health of the adolescent. A complementary tool in clinical practice or basic research are psychometric instruments that allow evaluating non-observable constructs in the field of psychology, for example, suicidal ideation. Therefore, the objective of the study was to present the sources of validity evidence based on the content, internal structure and in the relationship with other variables of the Roberts Suicidal Ideation Scale in Peruvian adolescents. The study has an instrumental and cross-sectional design. 399 adolescents residing in Lima participated, selected through convenience sampling and inclusion criteria: a) be between 10 and 19 years old, b) place of residence in Lima and c) have accepted informed consent. Adolescents who did not meet these criteria were excluded from the study. All participants answered three scales, which were: the Roberts Suicidal Ideation Scale, the Paykel Suicidal Ideation Scale and the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. The last two scales have evidence of validity in the Peruvian adolescent population. In that sense, 237 (59.4 %) were women and 162 (40.6 %) were men. The mean age was 17.81 (SD = 1.03) in a range of 15 to 19 years. Likewise, additional questions were asked about suicidal behavior during the last 12 months, where 2.8 % considered seriously committing suicide, 2.5 % made suicide plans, and 2.5 % attempted suicide, but were unsuccessful. Regarding the results of the investigation. In principle, three Peruvian psychologists reviewed the content of the items and all considered that the items were representative and relevant to explain the construct. Likewise, through the modeling of structural equations, a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was applied to analyze the internal structure of the scale, where it was evidenced that the structure was essentially one-dimensional (CFI = .99; RMSEA = .04 [90 % CI; .00-.12], SRMR = .01, WRMR = .30) and presented factorial loads (λ) higher than .50. On the other hand, the internal consistency was acceptable ω = .84 [95 % CI: .81-.86] and reliability of the construct H = .94, showing that the items are homogeneous and coherent. The multigroup measurement invariance and its different conditions (configural, metric and strong) according to sex (women vs. men) and age (15 to 17 years vs. 18 to 19 years), was stable in the different restrictions and fulfilling the points of Suggested. Cut-off for the variation of the fit índices: (ΔCFI < .01; ΔSRMR < .03), showing that the internal structure of the instrument is the same for the sex and age groups. Finally, a positive relationship was found (r = .35; p = .01) with another instrument that assesses suicidal ideation (thoughts of death, suicidal ideation and suicide attempt) and negative relationships with the positive dimension (r = -.31; p = .01) and negative dimension (r = -.25; p = .01) of self-esteem. All correlations had a minimal effect size. The research results suggest a one-dimensional factorial structure, adequate internal and construct consistency, coherent relationship with other variables and invariance according to sex and age. The findings allow us to conclude and recommend of the Roberts Suicidal Ideation Scale scores for the specific use in Peruvian adolescents and comparison of groups (sex and age) are reliable and adequate. Objective: to evaluate the quality and extent of the essential attributes longitudinality and coordination in the care of high-risk pregnant women from the perspective of the PHC nurse. Method: exploratory study, quantitative approach, conducted in health units in the city of Guarapuava, Paraná. The participants were 21 nurses, who had been working for at least six months in the institution. The sociodemographic characterization instrument and the questionnaire Primary Care Assessment Tool, health professionals version, were applied. The attributes of longitudinality and coordination were evaluated. Descriptive and bivariate statistics were performed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences program. Results: satisfactory scores were obtained in the attributes evaluated in the nurses' view. The negative correlation between the age of the participant and the coordination score was obtained in the care integration component. Conclusion: it is emphasized the need for strengthening these attributes, since they directly impact the quality of care for high-risk pregnant women. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective : Identify challenges in the applicability of ontological models that represent relationships and elements of health management competencies. Methods: Scoping Review, according to Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) and the guiding question: "What are the challenges in the applicability of ontological models that represent the health management competencies described in health in the literature?". Included national and international studies, English, Portuguese and Spanish, in the time span of 2015 to 2020. Results : The search strategy was applied in eight databases; 2024 articles were found and eight were selected as the final sample. The studies highlighted the following difficulties in this theoretical framework: interpretation of complex, heterogeneous and dispersed data by health managers, lack of automation in patient monitoring, lack of training of health managers, inadequate task distribution and workload of the nursing team and also, deficiency in decision-making shared between health professionals and the patient. Conclusions: The application of ontological models in health management systems resulted in time optimization, data integration and better management decision-making in order to positively help the work of health professionals and managers. Contexto: el síndrome genitourinario de la menopausia (SGUM) es una condición clínica de alta prevalencia, con importantes efectos adversos sobre la calidad de vida de las mujeres que lo padecen. Objetivo: evaluar la calidad de vida y las características clínicas en mujeres con síndrome genitourinario de la menopausia. Metodología: estudio de corte transversal y aleatorizado en el que se incluyó a 235 mujeres de 40 años o más en posmenopausia y con diagnóstico de SGUM. Se midieron los puntajes de los cuestionarios de calidad de vida Short Form-36 Health Survey (SF-36) y Menopause Rating Scale (MRS). Resultados: la edad arrojó una mediana de 51 años. En el cuestionario SF-36, la “salud general” obtuvo la puntuación más baja, seguida por la “función física” y en la población total, los síntomas más frecuentes fueron sequedad vaginal y problemas sexuales. Por su parte, en la escala MRS, el dominio más afectado fue el urogenital con intensidad severa. El puntaje global de la escala MRS se clasifica en la categoría de intensidad moderada, pero en el grupo de mayores de 60 años, la puntuación es más alta, traduciéndose en una peor calidad de vida a expensas del dominio urogenital. Conclusiones: las mujeres con SGUM muestran deterioro en la calidad de vida, presentando síntomas urogenitales y somáticos más severos pasados los 60 años. Se hace necesaria la realización de estudios sobre el pronóstico de dicha condición en la mujer en posmenopausia.

Generalized anxiety is a recurrent psychological problem in adults in the general population, being a risk factor for other physical and mental health disorders. Given these problems, it is necessary to have a reliable instrument to assess anxiety and identify probable cases. The aim of the study was to analyze the sources of evidence of validity of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) in Peruvian adults from the general population. Participants were selected by convenience sampling and inclusion criteria. A total of 567 adults residing in Lima completed the GAD-7 and another psychological instrument. Analyses were performed based on Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory. A unidimensional structure was evidenced with adequate fit indices, acceptable reliability, measurement invariance for sex and age, evidence of relationship with hopelessness and adequate a and ß parameters for the items, being the scale more useful in high levels of anxiety. In conclusion, the inferences and interpretations made from its scores are adequate in Peruvian adults, recommending its use to assess generalized anxiety and perform comparative analyses without measurement bias for sex and age groups. A lo largo de la historia se han documentado diferentes brotes epidémicos tales como la peste bubónica, la gripe española, la influenza porcina, el ébola, entre otras enfermedades que azotaron a todo el mundo y generaron un alto impacto desde las perspectivas económica, política y de salud. Todo esto ha conllevado a la creación de nuevas políticas públicas que contribuyen al control de la propagación de estas patologías (1), las cuales afectan a las comunidades sin discriminación de edad, sexo o grupo étnico. Por este motivo es importante tener en cuenta el papel que ha tenido el COVID-19 en nuestra sociedad desde el punto de vista pediátrico. Antes de empezar a tocar temas claves en esta población, es importante tener conocimiento acerca de esta patología y el desarrollo que tuvo a nivel mundial y nacional. El COVID-19, se encuentra clasificado en el grupo de virus de la familia Coronaviridae, en la subfamilia Orthocoronavirinae, dentro de los que destacan cuatro géneros identificados como Alphacoronavirus, Betacoronavirus, Gammacoronavirus y Deltacoronavirus. Dentro de este grupo se ha demostrado que los Alfacoronavirus y Betacoronavirus son responsables de infección en mamíferos, de los cuales seis subtipos han sido descritos como causantes de la enfermedad en humanos: HCoV-NL63, HCoV-229E, HCoV-OC43 y HKU1 (2). El pasado 31 de diciembre de 2019 se conoció un primer reporte de casos de neumonía de origen desconocido en Wuhan, provincia de Hubei, China. Se reportaron un total de 27 casos, aparentemente causados por un nuevo tipo de coronavirus asociado al consumo de animales exóticos en un mercado al aire libre; se produjeron sospechas alrededor de una posible infección transmitida desde los murciélagos (Chiroptera, mamíferos placentarios) a un mamífero intermediario, como el pangolín (Pholidota, mamíferos placentarios), y de ahí hasta llegar a los humanos, en un proceso denominado desbordamiento zoonótico (3). Throughout history, different epidemic outbreaks have been documented, such as the bubonic plague, the Spanish flu, swine flu, Ebola, amongst other diseases that hit the whole world and generated a high impact from economic, political, and health perspectives. All of this has led to the creation of new public policies that contribute to the control of the spread of these pathologies, which affect communities regardless of age, sex, or ethnic group. For this reason, it is important to bear in mind the role that COVID-19 has had in our society from a pediatric viewpoint. Before addressing key matters in this population, we need knowledge on this pathology and its development on a national and global level. COVID-19 is classified in the Coronaviridae family virus group, in the Orthocoronavirinae sub-family, within which four genres stand out, identified as Alphacoronavirus, Betacoronavirus, Gammacoronavirus and Deltacoronavirus. Within this group, it has been shown that Alfacoronavirus and Betacoronavirus are responsible for infection in mammals, of which six subtypes have been described as roots of the disease in humans: HCoV-NL63, HCoV-229E, HCoV-OC43 and HKU1 (2).

RESUMEN Objetivo: evaluar la calidad de atención en servicios de internación psiquiátrica de hospitales generales desde los enfoques de derechos y comunitario. Métodos: estudio multicéntrico, observacional descriptivo. Se seleccionaron cuatro servicios de internación psiquiátrica de hospitales generales ubicados en centros urbanos de distinta población en Argentina. En cada uno de ellos se analizaron los registros estadísticos, se realizaron observaciones no participantes y se entrevistó a gestores, trabajadores y usuarios. La guía de observación y entrevista se elaboró a partir de la revisión de instrumentos de la OMS y del proyecto Idea. Los resultados se analizaron a partir de las categorías de enfoque de derechos y orientación comunitaria de los servicios. Resultados: respecto del enfoque de derechos se observa que el que requiere mayor desarrollo es el de capacidad jurídica. En relación a la orientación comunitaria, se observa un mayor desarrollo de esta perspectiva a través de la implementación de diversas estrategias y el trabajo con las familias como la más común. Conclusiones: en términos de procesos y resultados de la atención se observan algunas diferencias entre los servicios que cuentan con sala especializada y los que no, y que estos últimos requieren de otros estudios para poder ser analizados.

Objective. To investigate whether structural aspects of primary care units (PCUs) and the work processes of primary care teams are associated with the rate of hospitalizations for primary care-sensitive conditions (HPCSC) in children younger than 5 years of age in Brazil. Method. For this longitudinal ecological study, secondary data were obtained from the Brazilian Hospital Information System and from three cycles of the National Program for Access and Quality Improvement in Primary Care (PMAQ-AB) (2012, 2014, 2017/2018). The analysis included 42 916 PCUs. A multilevel random intercept model with fixed slope was used. In the first level, the outcome (HPCSC rates) and explanatory variables (structure and process indicators) aggregated by PCU were analyzed. Social determinants (represented by a stratification criterion combining municipality population and health care management indicators) were entered in the second level. The t test with Bonferroni correction was used to compare indicator means between regions, and multilevel linear regression was used to estimate the correlation coefficients. Results. The HPCSC rate in children younger than 5 years was 62.78/100 thousand population per estimated PCU coverage area. A direct association with the outcome was observed for: participation in one or more PMAQ-AB cycles; team planning; special hours; dedicated pediatric care area; and availability of vaccines. Equipment, materials, supplies, and being a small or medium-size municipality were inversely associated with HPCSC. Conclusions. HPCSC rates in children below 5 years of age may potentially be reduced through improvements in PCU structure and process indicators and in municipal social determinants. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: Public health information is essential for decision-making in the public policy context, therefore considered a basic tool for phenomenon interpretation. The objective of this study was to evaluate the use of the Immunization Information System by nursing professionals. Materials and Methods: An analytical cross-sectional study was conducted with nursing professionals in a municipality in the Western Macro-region of Minas Gerais State by means of a validated checklist. For analysis, a scoring system was used to rate their use of the information system as appropriate, partially appropriate, not appropriate and critical. The median was used as a summary measure for descriptive analysis and Pearson's chi-square test was used to assess comparisons. Results: Out of 104 participating nurses, 14.4% reported having used records for vaccination information management; 93.3% performed vaccine inventory management, which was the only activity classified as appropriate; preparation of reports listing missed doses (39.4%), vaccination coverage (36.5%) and dissemination of consolidated reports (17.3%) were classified as critical. No statistically significant differences were found between the variables studied. Discussion: Underutilizing information systems has consequences for vaccination services, such as low vaccination coverage and variation in dropout rates, as well as hindering planning and decision making by vaccination center managers. Conclusions: Managing data in information systems should be recognized by healthcare professionals as a necessary, functional and applicable piece of the work process performed in vaccination centers. Introducción: Los sensores inerciales o unidad de medición inercial (IMU) del inglés Inertial measurement unit, son pequeños dispositivos capaces de medir la aceleración lineal y la velocidad angular, siendo útiles en el área de la salud para la cuantificación y valoración objetiva del movimiento corporal humano. Objetivo: Analizar la información sobre el uso de sensores inerciales como una aproximación a los procesos de evaluación del movimiento corporal humano. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó búsqueda en bases de datos, empleando términos: sensores inerciales, salud, fisioterapia, acelerómetro, actividad física, movimiento y rehabilitación, y sus combinaciones. Como criterios de exclusión se tuvo: artículos exclusivos del campo de ingeniería con información no aplicable a fisioterapia. Resultados: Una IMU es compatible con aplicaciones (APP), con el objetivo de obtener datos de movimiento tridimensionales y como evaluación e intervención, o que permita cuantificar los resultados de la acción motora. Conclusiones: Las IMU tienen amplias posibilidades en áreas afines a la rehabilitación y otras referentes al entrenamiento y el área deportiva; por lo, cual es necesario estandarizar protocolos que permitan la medición de patrones motores que favorezcan los procesos de rehabilitación.

Objetivo: Conocer la valoración que habitantes de Buriticá, Antioquia, hacen de los impactos socioambientales y sanitarios por la actividad minera aurífera en la región. Método: Estudio investigativo de método mixto, con enfoque cualitativo y cuantitativo, con participación de funcionarios de la Alcaldía, habitantes de zona rural y de la cabecera municipal, y personal administrativo y operarios de una asociación minera del municipio en proceso de legalización. Los actores identificaron, valoraron, priorizaron y categorizaron los impactos percibidos, para lo que se utilizaron los métodos Leopold (1971) y Empresas Públicas de Medellín-Arboleda (1985) modificados. Resultados: La migración de mineros a Buriticá generó explotación aurífera informal con: impactos críticos (76-100 puntos) de contaminación de aguas, choque cultural, pérdida de identidad, aumento de alcoholismo, drogadicción, prostitución y delincuencia; impactos severos (50-75 puntos) de colapso de servicios públicos, aparición de plagas, construcciones de alto riesgo, tala de árboles y migración de animales; impactos positivos, como aumento del sentido de pertenencia de las personas autóctonas, incremento del comercio y del empleo, y aprendizaje del hospital para superar condiciones de capacidad instalada frente a la atención de urgencias, traumas, accidentes e intoxicaciones. Conclusión: El auge de la minería causó impactos identificados por diferentes actores: estos visualizaron que el aumento de la población foránea no es solo uno de los impactos más significativos que se han dado a partir de la minería, sino que también es el causante de muchos otros que han surgido en los tres componentes evaluados (social, ambiental y sanitario).

La evaluación en la vigilancia en salud es un instrumento útil para analizar resultados en relación con los objetivos, comparar beneficios con costos y orientar objetivos iniciales de los sistemas. El objetivo de ésta investigación fue evaluar el sistema de vigilancia de eventos adversos consecutivos a la vacunación en la Isla de la Juventud, Cuba, entre enero/2018 y marzo/2019. Se llevó a cabo un estudio descriptivo a través del diseño de una investigación evaluativa, que constó de dos fases complementarias para la dimensión “Proceso”. Se evaluaron los tres componentes del sistema: “Estructura, Proceso y Resultado” mediante una metodología integral. El alcance del estudio estuvo determinado por todos los médicos y enfermeros de la Atención Primaria de Salud, así como los Vicedirectores de Higiene y Epidemiología y los tutores legales de niños de 2 a 18 meses de edad vacunados. Se emplearon frecuencias absolutas y relativas, así como tasas e Indice de Posición. Se realizó además prueba de comparación de proporciones. La “Estructura” del sistema se evaluó como “definida”; el “Proceso” de “funcionamiento regular a priori y de buen funcionamiento a posteriori”, con significación estadística en varios atributos vistos como tal y como competencias; mientras que los “Resultados” fueron evaluados de “muy útiles”, marcado por la elevada satisfacción de los usuarios internos y externos. De forma general el sistema fue evaluado de satisfactorio. La evaluación del sistema permitió identificar brechas en su funcionamiento; sin embargo, valoraciones generales hacen suponer una madurez del funcionamiento genérico del Sistema a 20 años de su implementación.

Las evaluaciones aleatorizadas del impacto económico de programas sociales son exiguas en Latinoamérica y en la salud pública en general. Objetivo: Caracterizar los estudios sobre la evaluación aleatorizada del impacto de programas sociales contra la pobreza en la obra de Esther Duflo. Metodología:Revisión sistemática, en la que se aplica la guía prisma en nueve bases de datos. Se garantizó reproducibilidad de la selección de estudios y extracción de la información. Se realizó síntesis cualitativa de los resultados, mediante descripción de las poblaciones, las intervenciones, los controles y los desenlaces evaluados. Resultados: Se analizaron 34 evaluaciones aleatorias de programas sociales contra la pobreza, el 41,2 % en educación; el 20,6 % en salud; el 8,8 % sobre microcréditos; el 8,8 % en participación política de las mujeres y el 5,9 % en transferencias directas a poblaciones pobres. Las restantes evaluaron el uso de fertilizantes, veedurías a policías, consecución de empleo y control a las emisiones ambientales en plantas industriales. Conclusión:Los mejores impactos se reportaron en educación y salud, lo que se relaciona con el capital humano, la participación laboral efectiva y la reducción de la pobreza. Esto constituye un soporte de gran relevancia para la salud pública basada en la evidencia y permite identificar ejes de política pública para reducir la pobreza, combatir las inequidades sociales y mejorar el uso de recursos económicos para la gestión pública

Introducción: La información sanitaria es esencial para la toma de decisiones en el contexto de políticas públicas, por lo que se considera como una herramienta básica en la interpretación de los fenómenos. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el manejo del Sistema de Información de Inmunización por parte de los profesionales de enfermería. Materiales y métodos: Estudio transversal analítico realizado en un municipio de la Macrorregión Oeste de Minas Gerais con profesionales de enfermería mediante una lista de verificación validada. Para el análisis, se utilizó un sistema de puntuación para clasificar el manejo del sistema como adecuado, parcialmente adecuado, no adecuado y crítico. Se utilizó la mediana como medida de resumen para el análisis descriptivo y la prueba de chi-cuadrado de Pearson para comparar proporciones. Resultados: De los 104 profesionales de enfermería participantes, el 14.4% afirmó haber usado los registros en la gestión de la información en vacunación; el 93.3% realiza control de las existencias de inmunobiológicos, siendo esta la única actividad clasificada como adecuada; la elaboración de informes con la lista de dosis perdidas (39.4%), la cobertura de vacunación (36.5%) y la divulgación de informes consolidados (17.3%) se clasificaron como crítico. No se encontraron asociaciones estadísticamente significativas entre las variables estudiadas. Discusión: La subutilización del sistema de información trae consecuencias para los servicios de vacunación, como baja cobertura de vacunación y las variaciones en las tasas de abandono, además de generar dificultades en la planificación y en la toma de decisiones por parte de los gestores en las salas de vacunación. Conclusiones: El manejo de la información que reposa en los sistemas de información debe reconocerse por parte de los profesionales de la salud como necesario, útil y aplicable, por lo que debe hacer parte del proceso del trabajo que se realiza en las salas de vacunación. Objective: To analyze the management of Primary Care in Brazil from the perspective of expert researchers. Methods: This is an exploratory-descriptive study with a qualitative approach, being part of a course conclusion work that gave rise to 21 registration units; 05 units will be addressed and discussed regarding management skills in Primary Care. Data collection was carried out at the national level with leading researchers from a research group from December 2018 to January 2019, participants were contacted to respond to the Management Skills Assessment Tool in the Sobral Family Health Strategy adapted for the Google Forms platform. The material was taken for analysis, with Bardin's content analysis framework and with the support of NVivoll software. Results: The manager's job skills were related to 05 registration units: Shared Management, Popular Participation, Humanization in Management, Leadership and Team Involvement. Conclusion: The objective of analyzing the perception of experts was achieved. It is shown that the manager must be able to envision the gain when working with co-management and ensuring popular participation as another power, bringing concepts of humanization to the manager.
