The purpose of this research is to measure the awareness of individuals, who request health services, about patient rights and responsibilities. The sample of the research consists of individuals over the age of 18 who consulted to a tertiary hospital in Erzurum. According to the power analysis, the sample size of the research has been determined to be at least 122 people to have 95% power, 95% confidence level, and 0.3 effect size. Within the scope of the research, questionnaires were distributed to 200 randomly selected people who applied to the hospital in May 2022. a total of 187 questionnaires were answered, but 15 questionnaires were not included in the analysis due to missing/incorrect data. A total of 172 valid questionnaires have been included in the analysis. Research data has been analyzed with the help of IBM SPSS program. Data obtained from descriptive statistics have been evaluated. Reliability analysis has been performed on the scale. As the result of the research, it has been seen that individuals' level of knowledge about patient rights and responsibilities were generally high. The patient rights and responsibilities scale average has been determined to be higher in the 25-34 age group and individuals with a bachelor's degree. In our country, information and promotional activities should be carried out to better understand patient rights and responsibilities, to prevent or minimize problems in the usage of patient rights and fulfilment of patient responsibilities. This research was conducted to evaluate the relationship between individuals' trust in physicians and outpatient satisfaction. In this study conducted on 400 adults living in the center of Kahramanmaraş, easy sampling method was used and the data obtained were analyzed with the SPSS package program. "Physician Trust Scale" and "Outpatient Patient Satisfaction Scale" were used in the research. The "Trust in Physician Scale" has no factor and the Cronbach Alpha value of the scale is 0.827. "Outpatient Satisfaction Scale" appointment size (5), efficient examination (13), staff attitude (3), general satisfaction (5), waiting time and counseling (3). The Cronbach Alpha value of the scale is 0.891. To evaluate the data of the study, reliability analysis, t-test in independent groups, one-way analysis of variance in independent groups, and correlation and regression analysis were performed. A significant difference was detected between demographic variables and the averages of trust in physicians and outpatient satisfaction (p< 0.05). A significant relationship was detected between the sub-dimensions of the outpatient satisfaction scale and trust in physicians (p<0.05). Individuals being married, being older, and having a low level of education also reduce their trust in physicians and patient satisfaction. Patients who thought their monthly income was low had lower patient satisfaction. As individuals' trust in physicians increases, patient satisfaction also increases. Amaç: Çalışma hipertansiyon hastalarının akılcı ilaç kullanımı düzeylerinin ve etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı.Yöntemler: Kesitsel tipte olan bu çalışma 10 Kasım ve 30 Aralık 2023 tarihleri arasında Türkiye’nin Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesinde Bayburt şehrinde yapıldı. Çalışmaya 18 yaş ve üzeri hipertansiyon hastalığı olan 237 kişi dahil edildi. Veriler Hasta Tanıtım Formu ve Akılcı İlaç Kullanımı Ölçeği ile toplandı. Araştırma sağlık kurumlarına başvuran hastaların müşteri ilişkileri yönetimi (MİY) uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeylerinin, hasta bağlılıklarına etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Aynı zamanda hastaların MİY uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeylerinin ve hasta bağlılıklarının sağlık kurumu türüne göre farklılaşma durumu da belirlenmek istenmiştir. Çalışmanın evreni Sivas merkezde son altı ay içerisinde sağlık hizmeti almış 18-65 yaş aralığında okuma yazma bilen bireyler olarak belirlenmiştir. Gönüllü olarak çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 630 hasta araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Araştırma verileri yapısal eşitlik modeli ile test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; hastaların MİY uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeyleri orta seviyede çıkmıştır. Bunun yanında hastaların sağlık kurumuna bağlılık düzeyleri de orta seviyede bulunmuştur. Hastaların MİY uygulamalarına ilişkin algı düzeyleri ve bağlılık düzeyleri sağlık kurumu temelinde incelendiğinde, ölçek genelinde ve alt boyutlarda istatistiksel olarak farklılık olduğu tespit edilmiştir. En yüksek puan ortalamasına sahip olan sağlık kurumu eğitim araştırma hastanesi iken, en düşük puan ortalamasına sahip olan sağlık kurumu özel hastanedir. Son olarak, MİY uygulamalarının etkin olmasının hasta bağlılığını önemli ölçüde artırdığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Bu bağlamda; sağlık hizmet sunucularının müşteri ilişkileri yönetimi noktasında var olan eksiklerini tespit ederek bu noktalarda gelişim göstermeleri önem arz etmektedir. Araştırma, tek bir şehirde sınırlı örneklem ile yapılmış olması sebebiyle genellenemez.

Gynecological cancers are defined as highly malignant formations or malignant tumors that are very common in female genital organs. The roles and responsibilities undertaken to ensure the management of medical, basic health and psychosocial conditions of individuals are expressed as self-care power. Primary, secondary and tertiary symptoms experienced by patients with gynecological cancer negatively affect their self-care ability. In this context, it is seen that the self-care ability of gynecological cancer patients is low or medium level and the nurses' ability to evaluate gynecological cancer patients in terms of self-care ability is weak. Therefore, nurses, especially nurses who specialize in obstetrics and gynecology nursing, should holistically evaluate individuals with gynecological cancer, identify physical and psychosocial problems, and plan the patient's care. Knowing that within the scope of holistic health, the individual is a mental, physical and psychosocial being and that each individual's needs are different, nurses should support the self-care of gynecological cancer patients according to their addiction status. In this study, it was aimed to determine the needs of family members with patients in the intensive care unit and the factors affecting these needs. The cross-sectional study was conducted with the family members (n: 260) of patients who received treatment and care in the secondary intensive care units of a university hospital. Data were collected between January 2019- January 2020 using a personal information form and a Critical Care Family Needs Inventory. The average age of family members was 38.06±12.47 years and 60.8% of them were women. More than half (56.9%) were first-degree relatives of the patient and lived in Konya city center (56.9%). It was found that family members had higher need scores (3.31±0.38), and their needs for trust and information were higher. It was determined that the most important needs were to be sure that the best care was given to their patients, to be informed about the condition of their patients once a day, and to know exactly what was done to their patients, respectively. It was found that age, gender, marital status, educational status and place of residence of family members significantly affected the need score. It was determined that women, those under the age of 40 years, married, primary school graduates, and those living outside the city center of Konya had significantly higher need scores.The research results revealed that the majority of family members with patients in ICU were unable to participate in their patient's care and had a high need to ensure that their patient was received the best care. Changes in the provision of health services brought about new health policies globally in 1970. One of them, health communication, is a new application that is closely related to the development levels of countries and helps to protect social and individual health. The concept of health communication has often been studied from the point of view of patients in early communication research. However the concept basically covers all health workers, as well as patients and patient relatives. This research was built with a focus group study from qualitative research methods to determine the communication levels and communication patterns of physicians in order to cover the deficiency found in the field. at the end of the research conducted with 10 physicians, it was found that doctors communicate in the "physician-patient" category. In another finding of the study, it was understood that physicians use 6 different models other than the rhetorical model from the health communication models according to the socio-economic and psychological characteristics of the patient. At the end of the research, it was proposed to extend the examination periods, reduce the number of patients being cared for daily and develop health communication policies in order for physicians to establish a better-quality health communication with their patients. Objective The aim of the research is to investigate the relationship between perceived hospital value and hospital loyalty in patients applying to a university hospital. Material and Method Quantitative research design and easy sampling method were used in the study. The hospital perceived value scale developed by Moliner (2006), the Turkish validity and reliability study conducted by Akbolat and Durmuş (2021), and the hospital loyalty scale developed by Price and Arnould (1999), the Turkish validity and reliability study conducted by Ünal (2016) were used as data collection tools in the study. The Cronbach Alpha value of the hospital perceived value scale was found to be 0.921 and the Cronbach Alpha value of the hospital loyalty scale was found to be 0.732. The sample of the study consists of patients receiving outpatient outpatient clinic services from a university hospital in Kahramanmaraş. Within the scope of the research, 321 patients were reached. Descriptive statistics, t test in independent groups, analysis of variance and correlation analyses were performed on the data. Results As a result of the findings obtained from the research, hospital value perceptions of married individuals were found to be higher than single individuals. The hospital value perceptions of individuals with chronic illness and continuous medication use were found to be higher than those without chronic illness and continuous medication use. Hospital value perceptions of illiterate participants were found to be higher than primary school, high school and undergraduate graduates. It was concluded that monetary costs are important in the perceived value of the hospital. The effect of non-monetary costs on perceived value was found to be low. It has been determined that the dimensions of functional value and perceived value of the hospital organization have a significant positive effect on hospital loyalty. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı kesitsel tipteki bu araştırma, 05.04-05.05.2017 tarihleri arasında bir üniversite ve bir özel hastanede yatarak sağlık hizmeti alan, onam yeterliliği bulunan ve araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 253 erişkin hasta ile gerçekleştirildi. Veriler "Hasta Hakları Bilgi Ölçeği" ve "Hasta Haklarını Kullanma Tutumu Ölçeği" ile toplandı. Çalışma için etik onam, kurum izinleri, ölçek yazar izinleri ve hastalardan yazılı onam alındı. Verilerinin analizinde sayı ve yüzde dağılımı, ortalama, standart sapma, bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanıldı. It is a fact that is accepted by everyone that the most valuable resource of a human is health and that there is no substitute or compensation. For this reason, one of the welfare indicators of countries is the efficiency and productivity of health services. In this context, the aim of this study is to reveal whether service compensation has a mediating role in determining the effect of relationship marketing practices on patients' behavioral intentions. In the study, it is compiled from previous studies and the final form is given by the researcher; four scales are used: service compensation, relationship marketing, patient satisfaction, and patients' behavioral intention. The research data are evaluated with statistical analysis programs, validity and reliability are determined, and hypotheses are tested using the structural equation model. In the exploratory and descriptive study, in which 1000 people who received health services from training and research hospitals, state (sample) hospitals, private hospitals, city hospitals and family medicine in Turkey, service compensation, relational marketing perception and patient satisfaction averages were moderate. possible. The positive behavioral intentions of the patients are also determined at a moderate level. As a result of the research, which is developed with the StimulusStructure-Response model and whose model is confirmed with the structural equation method, it is seen that relational marketing applications have a high effect on the satisfaction levels and behavioral intentions of the patients, and service compensation and patient satisfaction have a mediating role in this effect. Objective: Patients in the coronary intensive care unit most of them have sleep problems. Intensive care nurses should regularly review patients' sleep patterns and identify strategies that promote sleep. Intensive care nurses are in a unique position to provide direct support to cardiac patients regarding physiological and psycho-social risk factors. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of eye mask application and anxiety reduction counseling on sleep quality and anxiety in the coronary intensive care unit. Materials and Methods: This is a single-center prospective randomized controlled clinical study. 50 patients in the intervention group were allowed to wear eye masks during sleep at night and counseling was provided to reduce their anxiety. 50 patients in the control group received routine cardiological treatment. Research data were evaluated with the Richards-Campbell Sleep Scale, the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale and the "Numeric Rating Scale". Data were analyzed using the statistical program SPSS (22.0). Results: Sleep quality score (intervention group: 316.40±148.42, control group: 291.80±149.29) differed between the groups, but it was not statistically significant (t=0.826, p=0.411). However, the difference between the anxiety scores (intervention group: 11.44±8.74, control group: 15.38±10.49) was statistically significant (t=-2.040, p=0.044). Conclusion: Eye mask application supported the sleep of the patients in the coronary intensive care unit and was recommended for patients who wanted to use an eye mask. This study aimed to evaluate the opinions of health professionals and patients about tobacco products and compare these opinions. The descriptive and cross-sectional study sample consists of 124 healthcare professionals working in a state hospital and 276 patients treated in this hospital. The data were collected face-to-face with an information form containing socio-demographic information and a questionnaire containing questions about tobacco use. SPSS 25 package program was used in the data analysis of the study. It was determined that 33.1% of the healthcare workers used to smoke daily, and 45.7% of the patients did not smoke at all. When being a role model for society regarding smoking / non-smoking is examined, 52.4% of the healthcare professionals answered "yes", while 50.4% of the patients answered "no". Regarding the continuation of the indoor smoking ban in Turkey, the answer given by 66.9% of healthcare professionals and 7.5% of patients is "the ban should continue as the same way". According to the results of the study, men compared to women; It can be stated that healthcare professionals use more tobacco products than patients. Awareness-raising trainings should be given to health workers and patients about the harms of tobacco products. Amaç: Araştırma cerrahi girişim geçiren hastalarda sağlık bilgisine ulaşmada internet kullanımı ve E-Sağlık okuryazarlığını belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel türdeki bu araştırmaya Türkiye’nin doğu bölgesindeki bir devlet hastanesinin cerrahi kliniklerinde cerrahi girişim geçiren gönüllü 360 hasta dahil edildi. Verilerin toplanmasında hastalara yönelik sosyodemografik bilgi formu, internet kullanımına ilişkin anket ve E-Sağlık Okuryazarlığı Ölçeği kullanıldı. Araştırma öncesinde etik kurul izni alındı. Bulgular: Araştırmada hastaların çoğunluğunun tanı hakkında bilgi için internet kullandığı, internetten edindikleri bilgilerin sağlıkla ilgili karar ve uygulamalarını etkilediği, konu ile ilgili olarak çok fazla sonuca ulaşıldığında aralarında seçim yapmakta zorlandıkları ve internette bilgi kirliliği olduğunu düşündükleri saptanmıştır. Hastaların ‘E-Sağlık Okuryazarlık’ ölçeği puan ortalaması orta düzeydedir. ‘E-Sağlık Okuryazarlık’ düzeyi ile yaş arasında negatif yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir (p gt;0.05). Araştırmada eğitim ve gelir seviyesi daha iyi olan, hastalık hakkında daha fazla bilgi sahibi olan ve sağlık sorunu için internet araştırması yapan hastaların E-Sağlık Okuryazarlık seviyeleri daha yüksektir.Sonuç: Hastaların E-Sağlık okuryazarlık düzeyleri orta seviyedir. Hastalara, E-Sağlık Okuryazarlık düzeyini arttırmaya yönelik eğitimler verilmesi ve uzmanlar tarafından E-sağlık bilgi kaynaklarına ilişkin güvenilir, kolay ulaşılabilen inovatif süreçlerin oluşturulması önerilmektedir.

Objective: In our study, we aimed to compare the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of the patients admitted to the Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic before and after the announcement of the pandemic. Methods: In the cross-sectional study, the patients admitted to local Training and Research Hospital Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic. The data of the patients, including age, gender, marital status, nationality and clinical diagnoses, socio-demographic and clinical characteristics, were retrospectively scanned from the hospital automation system. Results: In our study, 6501 patients were examined in our outpatient clinic from the 15th of March to the 15th of September 2019, and 1663 patients were examined in the same period of time in 2020. While the number of female patients admitted to our outpatient clinic was more than male patients in the pre-pandemic period, it was found that male patients were more than women during the pandemic. It was also noted that the proportion of married patients decreased, and the number of single patients increased. Applications for medical board examination increased, and the number of foreign patients, most of whom were university students, decreased. Conclusion: The number of patients admitted during the pandemic decreased by about 75% compared to the same period of time in the previous year. It was found out that the age group whose number of applications decreased the most during the pandemic was the patients aged 65 and over, and the male patients were more than the female ones. Objective: This study determined the sleep quality of surgical intensive care patients and the affecting factors. Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted from April 2021 to January 2022 in the surgical intensive care unit of the university hospital. One hundred participants who met the inclusion criteria were included. The researcher completed the patient descriptive form and The Richards-Campbell Sleep Questionnaire (RCSQ) by face-to-face interview. Results: The RCSQ total score of the patients was 39.3±14.4. Age, type of surgical performed, pain severity, stress score and environmental factors (lights of the intensive care setting, device sounds, ambient odor, ambient temperature, voices of other patients, and conversations of the intensive care unit staff) affected the quality of sleep of patients. Conclusion: Patients had poor sleep quality in the intensive care unit. Increasing the awareness of nurses and intensive care team members about the factors disrupting sleep quality and possible solutions, transferring the solutions to the clinic, and evaluating the results may improve the sleep quality of patients. In this study, the design errors of dry powder inhaler devices that have been used for many years, and their solutions depending on these errors were investigated. For this study, the most recommended inhaler devices by doctors, and the most frequently used by patients are provided. The effective use of the device and the problems that arise during its use have been observed on many patients, and a newly designed inhaler device has been developed considering the emerging problems. Observations have revealed hesitations for patients to switch to the newly designed device due to old habits. However, in the studies conducted on patients who switched to the new design device, it is seen that there is a serious time reduction in the treatment processes if the device is used correctly.

Amaç: Bu sistematik derlemede kanserli bireylerde uyku kalitesini artırmaya yönelik yapılan hemşirelik girişimlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır.Yöntem: İki araştırmacı tarafından dahil edilme kriterlerine göre Kasım – Aralık 2021 tarihleri arasında ScienceDirect, DergiPark, PubMed ve Google Akademik veri tabanlarından tam metin randomize kontrollü çalışmalar ele alınmıştır. Belirtilen veri tabanlarında yapılan taramalardan elde edilen araştırmaların özetleri değerlendirilmiş, dahil edilme kriterlerine uygun olan çalışmalar seçilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler yazarlar tarafından oluşturulan veri değerlendirme aracılığıyla özetlenmiş ve değerlendirilmiştir.Bulgular: Derlemeye dahil edilen çalışmalar, Türkçe ve İngilizce olarak 2017-2021 yıllarında yayınlanmış, kanser tanılı bireylerde uyku kalitelerini artırmaya yönelik uygulanan hemşirelik girişimlerini içeren randomize kontrollü araştırmalardır. İncelenen araştırmalara toplam 975 kişi katılmış ve veriler hastanelerde, onkoloji ünitelerinde toplanmıştır. Çalışmaların örneklem büyüklüğünün 30-227 arasında değiştiği belirlenmiştir. Sistematik derlemeye dahil edilen çalışmalarda kullanılan yöntemler; uyku hijyen eğitimi, aromaterapi masajı, lavanta- nane yağı inhalasyonu, kulak akupres, ayak refleksoloji, tibet yogası, aerop egzersizi ve Benson’ın gevşeme egzersizi olarak sıralanmaktadır.Uygulamada Kullanım: Çalışmaya dahil edilen araştırmalarda uygulanan yöntemlerde herhangi bir yan etki belirtilmemiştir. Çalışmalarda belirtilen bu yöntemlerin uygulanması bireylerin bedensel, ruhsal ve sosyal sağlığı etkileyerek uyku kalitesini arttırdığı belirtilmektedir. Kanser hastalarında bu yöntemlerin uygulanması bireylerin semptomları yönetmesine, benlik algısının iyileşmesine, hastalık ve tedavi sürecine uyumunu olumlu etkilemektedir. Bu yüzden hemşirelik bakımında kullanılması önerilmektedir.

Giriş: Cerrahi müdahale geçirecek hastaların %60-80’inin ameliyat öncesinde sürece yönelik korku hissettikleri ve korkunun cerrahi süreci olumsuz etkilediği bilinmektedir. Yaşanılan bu korku hastaların öğrenme gereksininmlerini de etkilemektedir. Amaç: Bu araştırma cerrahi müdahale geçirecek hastaların yaşadığı korku ile öğrenim gereksinimleri durumları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Yöntem: Araştırma, Eylül 2018- Ocak 2019 arasında Batı Karadeniz bölgesinde yer alan bir üniversite hastanesinin genel cerrahi kliniğinde ameliyat olmak için kabul edilen hastalar üzerinde yapıldı. Verilerin toplanmasında “Hasta Tanılama Formu”, “Hasta Öğrenim Gereksinimleri Ölçeği” ve “Cerrahi Korku Ölçeği” kullanıldı.
