V diplomskem delu je predstavljena primerjava med obstoječim in prenovljenim procesom kamionskega naročanja v izbranem špediterskem podjetju. Prenova je bila potrebna, ker je obstoječi proces dela preveč analogen, časovno potraten in potrebuje nenehne vnose zaposlenega. Pri primerjanju omenjenih dveh delovnih procesov smo uporabili iGrafix programsko opremo, ki nam omogoča izvedbo diskretne simulacije. Pridobljeni podatki iz simulacije, kot je npr. čas trajanja procesa, so nam omogočili imperično primerjavo obstoječega in prenovljenega procesa (tj. ToBe proces). V primerjavi obstoječega in ToBe procesa je bilo ugotovljeno, da je ToBe proces veliko bolj učinkovit kot obstoječi, saj se čas trajanja procesa občutno skrajša, k čemur je pripomogla uvedba informacijske tehnologije, ki je bila implementirana v proces dela. Obenem se pri ToBe procesu soočamo z boljšo preglednostjo nad podatki. Tekom raziskave smo zaznali tudi povečanje s strani finančnih prihodov pri izbranem podjetju, predvsem zaradi hitrejšega sprejemanja odločitev in preglednosti podatkov. Na razvoj ToBe procesa je imelo velik vpliv tudi obdobje pandemije Covid-19, saj se je špediterski sektor soočal s povečanjem potreb po transportu blaga. Pri tem je bil ključen trenutek reakcija podjetja na razmere na trgu. ToBe proces je omogočil veliko prednost izbranemu podjetju pred ostalimi konkurenti. This research paper presents a comparison between the existing and refurbished truck ordering process in a selected freight forwarding company. This reengineering was essential due to the fact that the existing work process was too analogue, time consuming and required constant employee inputs. Whilst comparing these two work processes, we used iGrafix software, which allows us to make discreet simulations. The data obtained from the simulation, such as the time duration of the process, allowed us to make an imperial comparison between the existing and refurbished process (i.e. the ToBe process). Whilst comparing the existing and ToBe process, we discovered that the ToBe process is much more efficient than the existing process since the time duration of the process is significantly reduced as a result of the implementation of information technology, which has been implemented into the work process. At the same time, we are facing better scrutiny of the data in the ToBe process. Throughout the survey we also observed an increase in revenue in the selected company, mainly due to faster decision-making and data review. The development of the ToBE process itself was also greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic period, as the freight forwarding sector faced an increase in demand for transport of goods. While doing so, the company's reaction to these market conditions was of crucial importance and the ToBe process gave a greater competition edge to the selected company over other competitors.

Transportne mreže i informacijska tehnologija su ključni faktori u optimizaciji opskrbnog lanca i osiguravanju učinkovitog poslovanja. Transportne mreže mogu smanjiti troškove transporta i poboljšati vrijeme dostave, dok informacijska tehnologija omogućuje praćenje robe u stvarnom vremenu, upravljanje skladištima i automatizaciju procesa, što dodatno poboljšava učinkovitost opskrbnog lanca. Integracija transportnih mreža i informacijske tehnologije omogućuje poduzećima učinkovitije upravljanje opskrbnim lancem, što rezultira smanjenjem zaliha, povećanjem razine usluge i smanjenjem troškova. Poduzeća koja uspješno koriste transportne mreže i informacijsku tehnologiju mogu postići konkurentsku prednost i poboljšati svoj položaj na tržištu. Primjena najnovijih tehnologija u opskrbnom lancu može biti presudna u današnjem poslovnom svijetu. Zato je vrlo važno da poduzeća pažljivo razmatraju i primjenjuju najnovije tehnologije kako bi unaprijedile svoj opskrbni lanac i ostvarile konkurentsku prednost na tržištu. Transport networks and information technology are key factors in optimizing the supply chain and ensuring efficient operations. Transportation networks can reduce transportation costs and improve delivery times, while information technology enables real-time tracking of goods, warehouse management and process automation, further improving supply chain efficiency. The integration of transportation networks and information technology enables companies to manage the supply chain more efficiently, resulting in reduced inventory, increased service levels, and reduced costs. Companies that successfully use transport networks and information technology can achieve a competitive advantage and improve their position in the market. The application of the latest technologies in the supply chain can be crucial in today's business world. That is why it is very important that companies carefully consider and apply the latest technologies in order to improve their supply chain and achieve a competitive advantage in the market.

Review articles or literature reviews are a critical part of scientific research. While numerous guides on literature reviews exist, these are often limited to the phi- losophy of review procedures, protocols, and nomenclatures, triggering non-par- simonious reporting and confusion due to overlapping similarities. To address the aforementioned limitations, we adopt a pragmatic approach to demystify and shape the academic practice of conducting literature reviews. We concentrate on the types, focuses, considerations, methods, and contributions of literature reviews as inde- pendent, standalone studies. As such, our article serves as an overview that scholars can rely upon to navigate the fundamental elements of literature reviews as stand- alone and independent studies, without getting entangled in the complexities of review procedures, protocols, and nomenclatures.

The purpose of the research is to analyse the current data and experience of the Slovenian Armed Forces’ E-Learning Centre, and to examine the possibility of increasing the positive impacts of distance education by introducing it into the regular forms and programmes of education in the Slovenian Armed Forces. Based on the results of the data analysis and the experience of the E-Learning Centre and the estimated financial impacts, it can be confidently stated that the introduction of distance education has been financially beneficial for the Slovenian Armed Forces. The savings achieved so far have more than justified the development and construction of the SAF’s own e-learning capabilities. The results of the US analysis also speak in favour of the use of the distance learning method in military education. The introduction of the distance learning method in the military education system shows the positive impacts of e-learning in its integration into the regular forms and programmes of education in the Slovenian Armed Forces. It increases the likelihood of the successful implementation of digital transformation of education programmes, and guides education providers to address key content challenges., Svrha je istraživanja analizirati trenutne podatke i iskustvo Središta za e-učenje Slovenske vojske te ispitati mogućnost povećanja pozitivnih učinaka izobrazbe na daljinu njegovim uvođenjem u redovite oblike i programe izobrazbe u Slovenskoj vojsci. Na temelju rezultata analize podataka i iskustva Središta za e-učenje te procijenjenih financijskih učinaka, može se pouzdano tvrditi da je uvođenje izobrazbe na daljinu bilo financijski korisno za Slovensku vojsku. Dosadašnje uštede više su nego opravdale razvoj i izgradnju vlastitih sposobnosti e-učenja Slovenske vojske. U prilog primjeni metode učenja na daljinu u vojnoj izobrazbi govore i rezultati američke analize. Uvođenje metode učenja na daljinu u sustav vojne izobrazbe pokazuje pozitivne učinke e-učenja u njegovoj integraciji u redovite oblike i programe izobrazbe u Slovenskoj vojsci. Njime se povećava vjerojatnost uspješne provedbe digitalne transformacije programa izobrazbe i usmjerava se obrazovne institucije na rješavanje problematike ključnih sadržaja izobrazbe.
