The department of critical care medicine, the clinical base of critical care medicine, is the centralized management unit for the treatment of critical patients. Medicine and nursing are independent disciplines, but both can be fully utilized from different perspectives when dealing with critically ill patients. With the development of critical care medicine understanding and technology, the concept of doctor-nurse integration construction in the department of critical care medicine has emerged. Doctor-nurse integration construction in the department of critical care medicine needs to take severe diseases as the core and academic development as the orientation. Clinical practice should be carried out through medical cooperation, based on critical cognition and unified thinking mode.

Objectives: To investigate efficacy of online-offline integrated medical care management in patients with gestational diabetes. Material and methods: A total of 140 patients with gestational diabetes were randomly divided into two groups: integrated management (IM) group (n = 70) and control group (n = 70). Patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing intervention, and the patients in the IM group were treated with integrated care (offline medical and nursing management combined with WeChat online management). The fasting plasma glucose (FPG), 2h postprandial plasma glucose (2hPG), Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score, Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) score, Diabetes Care Profile (DPC) score, 36-item Short-Form (SF-36) score, and poor pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results: After intervention, the FPG, 2hPG, SAS score, SDS score, DPC score and SF-36 score were improved in both groups. All indicators in the IM group were better than the control group (p < 0.05). The incidence of premature delivery, polyhydramnios, neonatal respiratory distress, intrauterine distress, and postpartum hemorrhage in the IM group were lower than those in the control group (p < 0.05). Conclusions: The online-offline integrated medical care management effectively improved the blood glucose level, mental state, self-management behavior, quality of life and pregnancy outcomes of patients with gestational diabetes. The German BMBF (German Ministry of Education and Research) has decided to establish an Integrated Center for Research and Treatment of Vertigo, Balance and Ocular Motor Disorders (IFB) in Munich in 2010. After funding over a 10-year period, the long-term continuation of the IFB by the medical faculty and the hospital is envisioned. Vertigo is one of the most common complaints in medicine. Despite its high prevalence patients with vertigo generally receive either inappropriate or inadequate treatment. This deplorable situation is internationally well known and its causes are multiple: insufficient interdisciplinary cooperation, no standardized diagnostics and therapy, the failure to translate findings of basic science into clinical applications and the scarcity of clinical multicenter studies. The IFB will constitute a suitable tool with which these structural, clinical, and scientific deficits can be overcome. It will also make possible the establishment of an international interdisciplinary referral center. Munich has become the site of a unique concentration of leading experts on vertigo, balance and ocular motor disorders, both in the clinical and basic sciences. Academic structures have paved the way for the creation of an interdisciplinary horizontal network that also allows structured, vertical academic career paths via the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in neuroscience, a Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences, and the Munich Center for Neuroscience'Brain and Mind'. Objective: To study the effect of an all-in-one nursing model on ICU ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP)., Methods: A total of 100 ICU patients needing ventilator assistance who were admitted to our hospital from March 2018 to December 2019 were equally randomized into two groups by a lottery system, with 50 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received routine nursing, and patients in the experimental group received all-in-one nursing. The number of ICU VAP patients, time transferring from ICU to an ordinary ward, hospital stay, mechanical ventilation time, nursing efficiency, and the changes of blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation during nursing was compared between the two groups., Results: Regarding the number of cases of VAP, the length of stay in the ICU, and the length of hospital stay, and the mechanical ventilation time, the experimental group was markedly shorter than that of the control group (P<0.05). With respect to the effective rates of nursing care, the experimental group (96%) was better than the control group (80%) (P<0.05). When considering the changes of hemodynamic indexes during the nursing process, the two groups exhibited no marked difference (P>0.05). After intervention, the control group was inferior in terms of the oxygen partial pressure and carbon dioxide partial pressure compared to the experimental group (P<0.05)., Conclusion: All-in-one nursing can reduce the incidence of VAP in ICU patients, significantly shorten the length of ICU stay, hospital stay and mechanical ventilation time, thus improving overall nursing efficiency., Competing Interests: None., (AJTR Copyright © 2021.)
