Groundnut plants cultivated traditionally in Kofalit Village, Salkma District, South Sorong Regency do not adhere to Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), resulting in a decline in soil and crop productivity annually. This study aims to determine land quality through the evaluation of land suitability class and soil fertility status, enabling optimal management and minimizing land degradation. The research methodology encompasses the collection of primary and secondary data, rainfall data processing, soil fertility analysis involving sample collection and laboratory analysis, and land suitability evaluation based on land characteristic parameters and groundnut plant growth requirements. The analysis results are utilized to determine whether the land in Kofalit Village is suitable for groundnut cultivation, with potential recommendations for necessary improvements or appropriate management. The groundnut cultivation land in Kofalit Village, Salkma District, South Sorong Regency falls within land suitability class S2. Despite being moderately suitable for cultivation, it exhibits limiting factors and a low soil fertility status, necessitating soil fertility improvement and land management techniques to enhance plant growth and yield.
