The Merdeka Belajar curriculum has been implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture. There are many programs in Merdeka Belajar curriculum. One of them is the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) that measures literacy and numeracy skills. During the implementation of the AKM in 2021, students experienced confusion in understanding the questions because they were not familiar with literacy and numeracy questions. Additionally, students' numeracy skills were low because they did not fully understand the Minimum Competency Assessment questions and had never attempted to work on them. This study aims to develop numeracy literacy questions for the Minimum Competency Assessment. The research type used in this study was Research and Development (R&D), with Thiagarajan's 4-D model chosen as the framework. The 4-D development model consists of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. In the defining stage, observations and analyses of problems occurring in schools were carried out. Subsequently, an initial design of numeracy questions was prepared in the design stage based on data from the previous stage. The initial design then underwent validity and reliability testing in the development stage. The validity test was conducted by three validators, resulting in an average score of 3.89, categorizing the questions as valid. The reliability tests were carried out in a field trial with 26 students, yielding a reliability score of r = 0.607 which is interpreted as high. The results of the practicality test showed an outcome of 86.21%, indicating a very practical category. Numeracy problems that passed the validity, reliability, and practicality tests were distributed both offline and online. Ada banyak program dalam Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar, salah satunya adalah Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) yang mengukur keterampilan literasi dan numerasi. Selama pelaksanaan AKM pada tahun 2021, siswa mengalami kebingungan dalam memahami soal-soal karena mereka tidak terbiasa dengan soal literasi dan numerasi. Selain itu, keterampilan numerasi siswa rendah karena mereka tidak sepenuhnya memahami soal-soal Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum dan belum pernah mencoba mengerjakannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan soal literasi numerasi untuk Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan model 4-D Thiagarajan yang dipilih sebagai kerangka kerja. Model pengembangan 4-D terdiri dari empat tahap: pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Pada tahap pendefinisian, dilakukan observasi dan analisis terhadap masalah yang terjadi di sekolah. Selanjutnya, rancangan awal soal numerasi disiapkan pada tahap perancangan berdasarkan data dari tahap sebelumnya. Rancangan awal tersebut kemudian menjalani pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas pada tahap pengembangan. Uji validitas dilakukan oleh tiga validator, menghasilkan skor rata-rata 3,89, yang mengkategorikan soal tersebut sebagai valid. Uji reliabilitas dilakukan melalui uji coba lapangan dengan 26 siswa, menghasilkan skor reliabilitas r = 0,607 yang diinterpretasikan sebagai tinggi. Hasil uji kepraktisan menunjukkan nilai 86,21%, yang menunjukkan kategori sangat praktis. Soal numerasi yang lolos uji validitas, reliabilitas, dan kepraktisan didistribusikan baik secara offline maupun online.

Numeracy and literacy are the focus of Indonesia's education system. This is evident from the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM), which has been part of the national annual assessment since 2021. The results are analyzed and reflected upon to assess the quality of education in implementing schools. Students' numeracy skills can improve if they use reasoning to solve problems. Reasoning connects the concepts they hold with the context of the problem at hand. Reasoning results are used to interpret, analyze, and make decisions. The reasoning in question focuses on adaptive reasoning (reflection, explanation, and justification). Research was conducted to describe the adaptive reasoning of high school students through the answers of students who participated in a reasoning competition. The instrument used is a numeracy test. This research is qualitative with descriptive methods. Analysis was conducted on the three student answers that obtained the highest scores (purposive sampling) and focused on the fertilizer theme. This theme is presented in graphic form as a stimulus with two questions that students need to answer. The data analysis technique in this research involved reducing the data. The result obtained was that one student used aspects of adaptive reasoning (reflection, explanation, and justification) completely in answering questions. This indicates that this student can solve problems using adaptive reasoning. This student is said to have good numeracy skills because they can use adaptive reasoning. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Literasi dan numerasi menjadi salah satu fokus pada dunia pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini terlihat dari pelaksanaan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) yang menjadi bagian dari asesmen nasional dilakukan secara berkala sejak tahun 2021. Hasilnya dianalisis dan direfleksikan menjadi mutu pendidikan dari sekolah yang melaksanakan. Kemampuan numerasi siswa dapat dikatakan baik jika siswa dapat menggunakan nalarnya untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan. Penalarannya digunakan untuk mengaitkan antara konsep yang dimiliki dengan konteks masalah yang dihadapi. Hasil penalaran dimanfaatkan untuk menginterpresi, menganalisis, sampai mengambil keputusan. Penalaran yang dimaksud berfokus pada penalaran adaptif (reflecting, explaining, dan justifying). Penelitian dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan penalaran adaptif siswa SMA melalui jawaban siswa yang mengikuti lomba nalaria. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah tes numerasi. Jenis penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Analisis dilakukan pada tiga jawaban siswa yang memperoleh skor tertinggi (pusposive sampling) dan berfokus pada tema pupuk. Tema ini disajikan dalam bentuk grafik sebagai stimulus dan dua soal yang perlu dijawab siswa. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan mereduksi data. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah satu siswa yang menggunakan aspek penalaran adaptif (reflecting, explaining, dan justifying) secara utuh dalam menjawab soal. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa siswa ini dapat dikatakan mampu menyelesaikan masalah dengan menggunakan penalaran adaptifnya. Siswa ini dikatakan memiliki kemampuan numerasi yang baik karena mampu mempergunakan penaralan adaptifnya.

Teachers have positive perceptions about the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) and reading literacy. However, mathematics teachers also need to have a perception of students' numeracy skills that are assessed using the MCA instrument. Teachers experience various challenges and difficulties in improving learning to strengthen numeracy. This study aims to describe teachers' perceptions of students' numeracy competencies measured using MCA and to identify efforts made by teachers to strengthen students' numeracy competencies. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that teachers' perceptions of students' numeracy competence measured using the MCA instrument are positive (agree) so that teachers can make appropriate efforts in improving the quality of learning and strengthening numeracy. The efforts that teachers can make are looking for information on achievement results, reading report card data, identifying the root of the problem, and fixing the problem. Positive teacher perceptions encourage teachers to make appropriate efforts in strengthening students' numeracy competencies and support schools to develop data-based programs. Guru memiliki persepsi positif tentang pelaksanaan Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (MCA) dan literasi membaca. Namun, guru matematika juga perlu memiliki persepsi tentang kemampuan numerasi siswa yang dinilai menggunakan instrumen MCA. Guru mengalami berbagai tantangan dan kesulitan dalam memperbaiki pembelajaran untuk menguatkan numerasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persepsi guru tentang kompetensi numerasi siswa yang diukur menggunakan MCA dan untuk mengidentifikasi upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru sebagai penguatan kompetensi numerasi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi guru tentang kompetensi numerasi siswa yang diukur menggunakan instrumen MCA adalah positif (setuju) sehingga guru dapat melakukan upaya yang tepat dalam memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran dan melakukan penguatan numerasi. Adapun upaya yang guru dapat lakukan adalah mencari informasi hasil capaian, membaca data rapor pendidikan, mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan, dan membenahi masalah. Persepsi guru yang positif mendorong guru agar dapat melakukan upaya yang tepat dalam menguatkan kompetensi numerasi siswa dan mendukung sekolah menyusun program berdasarkan data.

This research aims to develop a spatial geometry instrument based on minimum competency assessment. Spatial geometry is a field of mathematics that is important in developing an understanding of shape, size, and spatial relationships between objects in 3-dimensional space. Minimum competency assessment is an approach to measuring the basic understanding that individuals must have in a field of science. The research method used in this research involves the instrument development stage which consists of identifying minimum competencies in spatial geometry, designing the assessment instrument, validation by experts, and testing the instrument on a group of participants. The results of this research are a minimum competency assessment instrument in spatial geometry that can be used to measure basic understanding in this field. It is hoped that this instrument can be a useful tool in curriculum development and assessment in the field of spatial geometry, as well as assist educators in identifying students’ level of understanding of basic concepts in spatial geometry. This piece of writing is inspired by the inadequate numeracy skills of students, leading to their confusion when it comes to creating visual representations and comprehending the analysis related to the problems they are tasked with. The minimum competency assessment serves as a tool to evaluate students' numeracy skills and, in turn, enhances the overall quality of elementary education. The primary objective of this study was to elucidate the numeracy skills of students and to delve into their responses when addressing questions in the minimum competency assessment. For this research, a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. The research subjects comprised sixth-grade students at Pondok Cabe Ilir 01 State Elementary School during the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection methods encompassed observation, numeracy minimum competency assessment tests, interviews, documentation, and data triangulation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.The findings of this research revealed that students' numeracy skills fell into three categories: high, medium, and low, based on their performance across three specific indicators. The implications of this study are significant for schools, educators, and students, as they provide valuable insights into the preparation and enhancement of numeracy skills when addressing questions in the minimum competency assessment.

This research analyzes students' critical thinking abilities in solving Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) questions by reviewing students' mathematical self-efficacy. This research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 52 class VIII students at SMPK Mardi Wiyata Malang. This research instrument used AKM test sheets and mathematical self-efficacy questionnaires, which are then analyzed using an interactive model. This research showed that students with low self-efficacy abilities fulfill the indicators of interpretation, inference, evaluation, and explanation. Meanwhile, students with moderate self-efficacy fulfill the indicators of interpretation, inference, evaluation, explanation, and self-regulation. Students with high self-efficacy fulfill all indicators of critical thinking, namely interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation, explanation, and self-regulation.

This study aims to determine the level of mathematical literacy in the Minimum Competency Assessment. Qualitative methods were used as the research approach, and data was collected through tests. The results showed that the research subjects required special intervention on all indicators. At the basic competency level, the subjects could explore problems and connect known elements, but they struggled with formulating problems, strategizing, interpreting, and evaluating. At the competent competency level, the subjects did not write down the results of exploring problems, but they could pass other indicators well. On the other hand, advanced competency level literacy skills fulfilled all indicators. The study findings suggest that solving mathematical literacy questions requires both understanding and reasoning skills to enable students to make effective decisions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to analyze the mathematical literacy ability of SMK students in solving the minimum competency assessment (AKM) problem in the opportunity material in terms of mathematical cognitive ability. The subjects in this study were students of class XI MM 2 SMKN 1 Wonoasri with high, medium and low mathematical cognitive abilities of 1 subject each. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques based on the results of cognitive tests, AKM and interviews. Data validity techniques with engineering triangulation. Data analysis is carried out by reducing, presenting and verifying data and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of the study is that the cognitive subjects of high mathematics at level 1 write down information in detail, level 2 uses coding and solves problems by dividing them, level 3 solves problems by simplification and multiplication. The cognitive subject of mathematics is at level 1 writing down information briefly, level 2 uses coding and solves problems by simplification, level 3 solves problems by simplification and division. The cognitive subject of low mathematics at level 1 writes down the information briefly, level 2 problem solving performed has not been completed, level 3 problem solving is not in accordance with the command.

Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) assesses fundamental skills required for all students to help them improve their skills and participate actively in society. The AKM aims to identify assessment data or reports on students' understanding of the material. The AKM is very important for teachers because it provides an objective measure of learning performance, and for students, the results of this assessment indicate their level of learning achievement. This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of the AKM reading literacy items at SMP IT Insan Utama Pekanbaru. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method with content analysis. Based on the study's results, the percentage results of the difficulty level analysis of the guiding items were that 70% of the questions were categorized as difficult, 25% were moderate, and 5% were easy. It means that too many questions are difficult. The results of the calculation of differentiating power show that 40% of the questions are very good, 20% are good, 10% are sufficient, and 30% are bad. The analysis of the effectiveness of the checkers shows that 5% of the questions are very good, 15% good, 10% not good enough, 20% bad, 15% very bad.

The aim of this study was to describe the numeracy abilities of junior high school students in Bengkulu City in solving math problems based on minimum competency assessment questions. The results of this study for the long term can be used to prepare students’ abilities to face the minimum competency assessment test. The research method used is survey research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The population in this study were all Class VIII students from the State and Private junior high schools of Bengkulu City, namely 40 schools. Sample selection was done in two stages: stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. The research sample consisted of 8 junior high schools in Bengkulu City that met the sample criteria. Data was collected using the minimum competency assessment level 4 math test instrument with 8 items based on the minimum competency assessment grid. Data analysis was carried out with descriptive statistics to describe students' abilities, and prediction tests were conducted using regression tests to describe students' readiness to take the minimum competency assessment test. The results of the study based on the material aspect showed that: (1) students' mastery of number material was 54.47%, (2) algebraic material mastery was 46.44%, (3) students' mastery of geometry material was 33.15%, and (4) material data and opportunities of 18.81%. The analysis results of the level of student knowledge about implementing minimum competency assessment are, on average, in the less category with a percentage of 48.42%. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that there be the socialization of the application of minimum competency assessment to teachers and students as well as the preparation of special questions so that students are accustomed to solving minimum competency assessment-based questions.

The main problem with implementing the minimum competency assessment (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum or AKM) is the teacher's lack of understanding of AKM. The assessment questions made by the teacher are still limited to testing memory. The level of variation and difficulty of the questions presented is also still low (LOTS), contrary to the government's expectation to improve the quality of learning outcomes which are oriented toward students' higher-order thinking stages (HOTS). This research employed a mixed method. An overview of the teacher's understanding was obtained through questionnaires and interviews, while the description of the quality of the AKM of Integrated Science items made by the teacher was analyzed using the item quality rubric based on Bloom's taxonomy. The data source was obtained from 25 Integrated Science teachers for class VIII of junior high school in Bekasi City. The data were collected through three stages. The first stage employed the Google Form survey to see the demographic map of informants and teachers' initial understanding of AKM. In the second stage, five informants were selected from the results of the survey, representing the data source's characteristics. Then, in the third stage, literature analysis was done to develop rubric criteria for assessing the quality of AKM items. This rubric was used by the research team to assess the quality of AKM items made by an Integrated Science teacher at a junior high school in Bekasi City. Questions that meet the criteria for good questions were collected and entered into the AKM question bank.

The purpose of the study was to determine the ability of students in solving the national assessment problem model. The study belonged to qualitative approach. The research was conducted at SMPK Putra St. Xavier Kefamenanu. The data conducted from test results of national assessment collection problems and selected-participants interviews. The collected data then identified based on the following stages: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of data analysis showed that the level of students' ability in completing the national assessment model problems in the percentage is the low-level ability category of 30%, at the medium level by 60% and the high level by 10%. The findings of this study: students with high math ability master all components of MCA in terms of content, cognitive processes, and context; students with moderate math abilities are able to master reading literacy content but are weak in numeracy literacy; students with low math abilities are very weak in content, cognitive processes, and context. In terms of cognitive processes, students with moderate mathematical ability can find and interpret text content but fail to integrate and evaluate text content into mathematical concepts and procedures and the context of the questions that can be worked on are personal and scientific. In cognitive process, students with low mathematical abilities can find information but are unable to interpret it to evaluate the content of the text into a mathematical concept and procedure.

The importance of students' mastery of statistics is supported by the inclusion of this material in the mathematics curriculum since primary and secondary education. The role of statistics itself has penetrated into various professions and fields of science. Regarding statistical mastery students need to have statistical literacy skills in the form of basic skills in reading graphs, graph titles or themes, giving meaning to units of graphs, finding certain values or units, determining maximum and minimum values or the difference between the two. This study aims to describe students' errors in solving statistical literacy test similar to minimum competency assessment or asesmen kompetensi minimum (in Indonesian) based on the Kastolan stages. The type of this study is qualitative research with a case study design. The subjects of this research were 5 students of grade 11, a senior high school in Banjarbaru, South Borneo, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using tests and interviews. During the study, it was found that errors made by students include conceptual errors, procedural errors, and technical errors. Students' errors in solving statistical literacy test can have an impact on their daily life when they are dealing with data. Moreover, errors made by students when solving problems can be an early sign that there are learning obstacles experienced by students.

Permasalahan di SMP N 3 Purwodadi antara lain belum adanya LKPD yang berbasis Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM). Melihat permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM) pada materi geometri SMP yang memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan lima tahapan, yaitu: tahap analisis, tahap desain, tahap pengembangan, tahap implementasi,dan tahap evaluasi. Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII D SMP N 3 Purwodadi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik, dan angket respon guru. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh dari penilaian kevalidan LKPD oleh dosen program studi pendidikan matematika dan guru matematika SMP N 3 Purwodadi memenuhi kriteria sangat valid dengan rata-rata 4,52; dan dengan skor rata-rata 4,55 didapatkan penilaian kepraktisan LKPD berdasarkan respon peserta didik dan respon guru yang memenuhi kriteria sangat praktis. Oleh karena itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa LKPD berbasis AKM valid dan praktis untuk diimplementasikan pada pembelajaran matematika. Problems at SMP N 3 Purwodadi include the absence of LKPD based on Minimum Competency Assessment. Seeing these problems, this study aims to find out how the process of developing Student Worksheets based on Minimum Competency Assessment on junior high school geometry material that meets valid and practical criteria to improve students' numeracy literacy skills. This study uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The test subjects in this study were students of class VIII D SMP N 3 Purwodadi. Collecting data using validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and teacher response questionnaires. The results of this study were obtained from the validity of the Student Worksheets by lecturers of the mathematics education study program and mathematics teachers at SMP N 3 Purwodadi meeting the very valid criteria with an average of 4.52; and with an average score of 4.55, the practicality assessment of the Student Worksheet was obtained based on student responses and teacher responses that met the very practical criteria. Therefore, it can be said that the Student Worksheet based on the Minimum Competency Assessment is valid and practical to be implemented in mathematics learning.

Abstract The government through the Ministry of Education and Culture launched a new policy that was quite controversial, abolishing the National Examination and replacing it with a new assessment mechanism, namely the Minimum Competency Assessment (Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum, abbreviated as AKM). The implementation of AKM has elicited various responses from schools, teachers, and the community. One of the responses that emerged was confusion regarding the concepts, mechanisms, and forms of questions in the AKM. This study aims to answer these issues, by developing a supplementary book for preparing AKM-based questions. This study is developmental research by adapting the Borg and Gall model. There were four stages in this study, including planning, developing, try-out, and dissemination. Data collection technique used questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Quantitative data from the questionnaire were analysed using percentage analysis techniques. While the qualitative data used were descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of the validation and try-out had been carried out, this supplementary book can be said to be valid and worthy of distribution. The validity test and try-out of prospective users showed that the product that had been developed provides benefits for teachers. The supplementary book for preparing AKM-based questions is a product that can provide information about technical steps for teachers in developing learning evaluation models. However, some improvements still need to be made following the suggestions obtained from the validators and potential users.

The literacy competence of students is getting lower. The Ministry of National Education issues literacy in schools regulations and develops literacy assessment formats to improve it. It continues to experience improvements because it can still not boost student achievement. AKM is the latest student literacy competency assessment policy. Considering that the program is new and will be carried out next year, the number of question bank on AKM books is still limited. However, a design guide document for the development of the AKM test was launched. Therefore, good quality literacy tests are still needed. This development research aims to produce a valid and reliable AKM-based test package for the Solar System’s Reading Science Information Literacy level IV concept. And then, at the survey stage, respondents worked on the test package in the e-learning format. The test’s scoring will be used to describe the student literacy competency profile per the design guidelines for developing AKM questions. The results indicate that: (1) the AKM tests package that has been compiled is valid and reliable; (2) only 41 out of 181 students accessed the survey; (3) their highest achievements are the sufficient category, while the less category is most dominant; (4) the description is that their competence is only at the level of finding information, sub-competencies: accessing and searching for information in the text; search and select relevant information. The highest competence is understanding, sub-competence: comprehending text literally; explaining the main idea and some supporting ideas in the information text. It is competence at level 2 on the AKM test, the ability of students in grades 3 - 4 elementary school.

Numeracy has become part of the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) used in the National Assessment (NA) since it was established in 2021. However, previous research shows that the numeracy skills of junior high school students are still in the low category. The purpose of this study was to obtain a prototype of a practice book about preparation for dealing with numeracy MCA for junior high school students that were valid, according to experts. This research was development research (R&D) using the Plomp development model, which consists of preliminary research, a prototyping phase, and an assessment phase. At the end of the development stage, there was a formative evaluation to assess the product development's validity by two experts. The instrument used was the validation sheet for the numerical problems book. The results of this study obtained a prototype of the book that contains at least 90 numeracy problems for Junior High School students, which was categorized as valid with an average score of 89 and an excellent classification. The questions used include multiple choice, multiple complex choice, matchmaking, short essay questions, and essay. The dominant portion is in the form of complex multiple-choice questions. This book is suitable for students' preparation for the numeracy MCA.

Pre-service mathematics teachers must have good numeracy skills because this ability is needed in all aspects of life, home, work, and society. This study aims to identify the numeracy skills of pre-service teachers on the Acehnese culture-based Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA). A descriptive quantitative method was used in this study with 24 numeracy MCA questions based on Acehnese culture as an instrument. The subject was 158 mathematics education students from three Aceh universities in their fourth and sixth semesters. The data were analyzed quantitatively and categorized based on high, medium, and low levels. The results showed that the overall numeracy ability of pre-service mathematics teachers is 50.06% in the medium category. At the level of knowing and applying, they received 69.38% and 46.62%, which were in the medium category. Meanwhile, they only obtained 39.76% in the low category for reasoning level. It indicated the student’s lack of ability in higher-order thinking. These results are expected to be input for educators to arrange learning that develops the numeracy skills of pre-service teachers.

The purpose of this research was to describe the critical thinking of masculine male and feminine female students in solving numeracy literacy problems in the minimum competency assessment. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data collection method used the Bem Sex Role Inventory test to determine gender tendencies, giving math ability tests, giving problem solving assignments and interviews to determine students' critical thinking profiles. The research subjects consisted of two grade VIII junior high school students with masculine male and feminine female gender with moderate math ability. The results showed that masculine male students could fulfill all critical thinking indicators, while feminine female students could not fulfill one of the critical thinking indicators, namely analyzing problems with mathematical concepts. In addition, masculine male and feminine female students have different ways or solutions in solving numeracy literacy problems in the minimum competency assessment.

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) measures literacy achievement to map the quality of education in Indonesia with international standards. This AKM aims to identify student achievements when working on AKM questions in terms of the reading literacy process. The importance of AKM training is to improve teacher skills in developing learning frameworks that lead to students' reasoning in literacy. This study aims to determine the cognitive level of reading literacy AKM at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. This research method is content analysis with a qualitative approach. The analysis uses qualitative methods to interpret the cognitive level of the items. Based on the study results, the instrument question classification I percentage was 80% for C2 (Understanding); and 20% for C4 (Analysis). The percentage of instrument II questions is 74% for C2 (Understanding), 22% for C4 (Analysis), and 3% for C6 (Create). The cognitive level dominates the lower level, namely C2 (Understanding). While cognitive levels such as C1 (Remembering), C3 (Applying), C4 (Analyzing), C5 (Creating), and C6 (Evaluating) were found to be very few and had not even appeared in the AKM Reading Literacy question at SMK Negeri 3 Pekanbaru.

Mathematical literacy ability is important in the process of learning mathematics at schools. Efforts to improve mathematical literacy skills mostly involve providing materials and integrating learning with an ethnomathematical approach and higher-order thinking skills (HOTs) related to real life. The minimum competency assessment (AKM) is one of the ways to photograph students' numeracy skills so that students can face and understand the flow of information. This study aims to design AKM tools for junior high school students in the city of Semarang, with a focus on mathematics. The study included the administrators of the association of mathematics teachers and all junior high school mathematics teachers in the city of Semarang. A large-scale focus-group discussion was created. The results show that the AKM design has a positive influence on teachers. Since teachers receive contextual information more quickly, the form of AKM questions becomes up to date. Students, on the other hand, are happy as the questions are presented in the form of stories. Thus, students' mathematics learning ability increases, this is indicated by students being able to understand information from AKM questions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) is a basic competency assessment that will be carried out by the ministry of education and culture in Indonesia in 2021, one of the assessments is numeracy. Algebraic material is one of the important materials for students to learn related to everyday problems. The use of context is important in learning algebra. In this regard, the discussion which is now a topic of discussion for all groups not only from Indonesia but the world, namely Covid-19, can be an interesting context to raise. This study, describes the numeracy skills of students in working on algebraic questions, research subjects are students with heterogeneous abilities (medium, high, low) using a descriptive qualitative approach, with collection techniques in the form of tests, and interviews. The research subjects were grade VII students. Wherefrom the research, it was found that there were still unfulfilled numerical indicators, namely indicators of interpreting it to conclude. While indicators that often appear are using numbers and mathematical symbols in solving problems in life.

AKM is measuring two basic skills that are literacy and numeracy. The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the implementation of education. The learning that was originally face-to-face in the classroom now must be changed to online system. This is causes delays in the preparation of minimum competency assessment. Therefore, this research is important to do so that teachers, schools, and the government have a strategy in preparing minimum competency assessments in the era of the pandemic and post-covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify the practices and barriers of science teachers in preparation for the minimum competency assessment during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with four stages of research, that is preparation, data collection, data analysis, and concluding. The subject in this research included 15 science teachers from East Java, Indonesia. Subject selection was carried out using criterion-based selection and sample determination using cluster sampling technique. The instrument uses consist of an open and closed questionnaire via a google form. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The result showed that in online learning, most teachers had implemented learning that oriented to the preparation of minimum competency assessment but had not shown a positive correlation to student learning outcomes. Abstract: To face the minimum competency assessment, preparation is needed by the school and teachers. This study aims to determine the implementation of school policies in preparing students to face the minimum competency assessment at the Elementary School 1 Peukan Pidie. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation studies. The study results indicate that the minimum competency assessment is still a new thing for schools and teachers. Implementation of policies related to minimum competency assessment by the Elementary School 1 Peukan Pidie provides books to support minimum competency assessment and increase student learning hours. However, this policy cannot be implemented optimally due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Factors supporting the policy at the Elementary School 1 Peukan Pidie are the support and proactive attitude of the principal and the availability of supporting books for teachers and students. Abstrak: Untuk menghadapi asesmen tersebut tentunya diperlukan persiapan oleh sekolah dan guru agar siswa dapat mengikuti asesmen dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang implementasi kebijakan sekolah dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi asesmen kompetensi minimum di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Peukan Pidie. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, dan data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen kompetensi minimum masih menjadi hal yang baru bagi sekolah dan guru. Implementasi kebijakan terkait asesmen kompetensi minimum oleh SD Negeri 1 Peukan Pidie berupa penyediaan buku penunjang asesmen kompetensi minimum dan penambahan jam belajar siswa. Namun kebijakan tersebut tidak dapat diimplementasikan maksimal karena kondisi pandemi covid-19. Faktor pendukung kebijakan di SD Negeri 1 Peukan Pidie adalah dukungan dan sikap proaktif kepala sekolah dan tersedianya buku penunjang untuk guru dan siswa.
