Мақаланың мақсаты – қазақ ономастикалық атауларының номинациясындағы когнитивтік метафора феномені мен оның лингвотанымдық әлеуетін айқындау және мәдени репрезентативтілігі жоғары тілдік категория екендігін көрсету. Ұлттық топонимдердің мазмұндық межесінде халықтық көптеген этномәдени білімдер жүйесі мен ақпараттар шоғырланған. Когнитивтік метафораның түрлері мен іргелі сипаттары мен топоним жасауға қатысатын метафоралық аталым механизмі дәйектеледі. В содержании национальных топонимов сосредоточена система народных знаний с разнообразной этнокультурной информацией. В статье указаны виды и фундаментальные характеристики когнитивных метафор, а также механизмы метафорической номинации, участвующих в топонимообразовании. Рассматриваются пути концептуализации метафоры в процессе топонимообразования в когнитивном сознании и их этнокультурные параметры. Новизна исследования заключена в том, что выявлена высокая активность лингвокогнитивного потенциала метафоризации географических названий, образованных от соматических терминов и названий предметов материальной культуры. Выводы о том, что закодированная имплицитная информация в семантике мифонимов аксиологически насыщенна, информирует о морально-этических ценностях и антиценностях этноса, расширяют теоретическую базу лингвокогнитологии, когнитивной ономастики, отечественной ономастической науки. На конкретных примерах показано, что особенности концептуализации когнитивной метафоры определяются особыми когнитивными структурами (фрейм, подфрейм, слот) в процессе создания онима, что предопределяет ценность темы исследования и использованные методы исследования. Сделан вывод о том, что исследование особенностей метафорической номинации является перспективным направлением в изучении онимических единиц и в других отраслях ономастики, оказывающей существенное влияние на выявление закодированной культурной информации, народных знаний, сосредоточенных в их семантическом ядре, концептуально-ассоциативном поле. В исследовании использовались концептуальный компонентный анализ, методы когнитивного моделирования. Эти методы позволяют объяснить концептуальную семантику ономастических имен, образованных путем метафоризации. Результаты исследования могут быть использованы для определения этнокультурной семантики ономастических единиц ономастического подкорпуса Национального корпуса кахахского языка, в элективных курсах по лингвокультурологии, когнитивной ономастике, а также для разработки культурно-репрезентативных подкорпусов., The aim of thearticle is to determine the phenomenon of cognitive metaphor in the nomination of Kazakh onomastic names and its linguistic and cognitive potential, and that the cultural semantics of place names is a linguistic category with a high degree of representation. The content of the national toponyms concentrates the system of folk knowledge with a variety of ethno-cultural information. The article specifies the types and fundamental characteristics of cognitive metaphors, as well as the mechanisms of metaphorical nomination involved in toponymic formation. The ways of metaphor conceptualization in the process of toponymic formation in cognitive consciousness and their ethnocultural parameters are considered. The novelty of the study is predetermined by the fact that the high activity of linguocognitive potential of metaphorization of geographical names, formed from somatic terms and names of objects of material culture is revealed. The conclusions that the coded implicit information in the semantics of mythonyms is axiologically rich and informs about the moral and ethical values and anti-values of the ethnic group, expand the theoretical basis of linguocognitology, cognitive onomastics and the national onomastic science. Specific examples show that peculiarities of cognitive metaphor conceptualization are determined by the special cognitive structures (frame, sub-frame, slot) in the process of creation of the imagery, which predetermines the value of theresearch topic and used research methods. It is concludedthat the study of the features of metaphoric nomination is a promising direction in the study of onimic units in other branches of onomastics, which has a significant impact on the identification of encoded cultural information, folk knowledge, concentrated in their semantic core, the conceptual and associative field. The study used conceptual component analysis, cognitive modelling methods. These methods make it possible to explain the conceptual semantics of onomastic names formed by metaphorization. In practice, the results of the study can be used to determine the ethno-cultural semantics of onomastic units of the onomastic subcorpus of the National Corpus of the Kahachi language, in special courses on linguoculturalism and cognitive onomastics, as well as to develop cultural representational subcorpus., Филологические науки, Выпуск 2 (69) 2023

The results of the analysis of semantic groups of mythonyms of the poetic heritage of I. A. Bunin as means of explication of various historical-informational and cultural-symbolic worldview meanings are presented in the article. The relevance of the work is due to the interest of literary onomastics in identifying units of the onomastic code of artistic and aesthetic systems of various domestic and foreign writers. The novelty of the work is associated with the inclusion of lexical units with different ratios of the nominated image and denotation into the Bunin mythonymicon, with the synthesis of linguistic and literary-cultural approaches in characterizing each of the selected lexical units. The twelve described semantic groups of mythological names are organized in the form of a field with a core and peripheral parts. For each group, the features of contextual use are noted. The authors come to the conclusion that in the Bunin picture of the world, mythonyms of various semantics perform text-forming and meaning-forming functions. They not only represent archetypal images (Fire, Bottom, Feminine, Garden, etc.), axiological oppositions (light — darkness, good — evil, etc.), key ideas, themes and motives (the idea of being still, themes of love, death, motives of temptation, resurrection, dreams, etc.), historiosophical concepts (moral choice and fortitude), but also participate in the creation of an individual author’s myth.

The article is devoted to one of the problems of literary onomastics — an inventory of onomastic units of literary texts as an integral part of the vocabulary of the language of a particular writer. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the poorly studied issue of the mythonymicon of poetry and prose by I. A. Bunin. The novelty of the work is associated with the description of the mythological names of Bunin the poet as an integral system. The classification of mythonyms is based on five principles: the source from which the name was used (there were three such sources: etiological, anthropogonic, heroic, cult and other types of myths; religious and philosophical literature; multi-genre works of Slavic folklore); the nominated image of a fantastic object (eleven semantic groups are recorded: mythoanthroponyms, theonyms, demononyms, mythotonyms, mythohydronyms, mythoornithonyms, etc.); etymology (otonymic, otapellative and special contextual mythological names are marked); structural type (simple or oneword mythonyms, complex, represented by a bilexeme, and compound mythonyms, two-word and three-word ones are fixed); the presence of connotations in semantics (names with negative and positive connotative backgrounds were found). The author comes to the conclusion that mythonyms in I.A.Bunin's poetry become those stable linguistic signs that carry a huge amount of historical and cultural information and have a rich associative potential, accumulating the specifics of the writer's worldview, they contribute to the modeling of the text space.

The author of the article also considers cultural and historical information of peripheral onyms.

The results of a comparative analysis of female demonic characters that exist in the myths and folklore of the peoples of Western Siberia are presented. It is noted that the total assimilation and leveling of the peculiarities of distinctive cultures did not occur, despite the fact that the rituals and myths of the West Siberian peoples were subjected to processes of mutual influence, flow and adaptation for centuries. The relevance of the study is due to the need to study the existing picture both in its integrity and in individual fragments. It is reported that the image of a female witch, a malicious old woman, is found in the myths and tales of most of the peoples living in Western Siberia. The article analyzes the etymology of the names and attributes of female demonic characters: Porne in Khanty mythology, Parne in Nenets mythology, Forest old woman and Albasty among Siberian Tatars, Baba Yaga among Slavs. The authors pay special attention to the commonality of mythological motifs, the similar structure of fairy tales, arising on the basis of demonic images of the feminine type. The possible relationship of these images with totemic representations, common in ancient cultures, is indicated. The question of the correlation of the folklore plot “the boy and the witch” with the ritualism of the West Siberian peoples, in particular, with the rites of birth, initiation, and fire worship, is examined. By comparing the traditions of neighboring cultures, the archetypal nature of the initiation scenario while maintaining its ethnospatial specificity is proved.

Kazakh toponymy is an integral part of the spiritual culture of our people, rich in historical linguistic data and materials. After all, in the content of the names of each nation, there are many centuries-old events of political and social life of this ethnic group, various layers of cultural and spiritual life. Generally,linguistics has written research papers in several areas related to Kazakh toponymy, but the problem of considering toponyms in connection with mythological thinking and the system of myths has not yet become a specific, comprehensive object of research. In this regard, the purpose of the scientific research of this article is to describe some toponyms in the Kazakh language, including toponyms associated with the phrase rich, "female goddess", which are associated with all - Turkic sacred concepts of mythological nature "sacred, holy", in comparison with the materials of Turkic languages from the historical point of view. According to it, the article is relevant to identify and analyze the manifestations of the mythical system in the spiritual worldview of the Turkic-speaking peoples, including the Kazakh people, formed in connection with the environment in ancient times, with a semantic and etymological analysis of the composition of the toponyms of Kotankaragai and Bayanaul in Kazakhstan. As a result of the analysis, the following problems were achieved: first, the cognitive level of the Kazakh people originates from ancient Turkic mythological worldviews, secondly, the common content and idea of myths common to the entire Turkic world, i.e. the common content and common Turkic sound correspondence of the mythical text nature of the ancient Turkic Goddess Umai - a woman, the usage of the cognition of a rich mother, and thirdly, the sacred concept of this "female goddess" (Umai- the scientific and practical significance of the work is determined by our attempt to prove in a new way the manifestation of the female goddess, Bai(Holy, Sacred) Mother) in the toponyms Bayanaul and Kotankaragai in Kazakhstan on the basis of previous research and previously ignored sources.

Встановлено жанрові риси та мовна специфіка їхнього відображення містичного художнього дискурсу. Доведено, що містичний художній дискурс має свої жанрово-дискурсивні особливості, які передусім реалізуються на лексичному рівні., The mystic literary discourse is a relatively new and unexplored phenomenon, and therefore it requires careful study. The main purpose of our research is to define the concept of mystical prose as a verbal representative of mystic literary discourse. The material of the research is mystical works of modern Ukrainian literature. The object of our research is the mystic literary discourse, and the subject is the linguistic features of Ukrainian mystical literary discourse. After analyzing the scientific literature, we concluded that the mystic literary discourse will be interpreted as part of the literary discourse, which includes primarily prose works, the central theme of which are bizarre events embodied through elements of mythological poetics. Typically, these mystical works are associated with a shift in time and space and external and/or internal metamorphoses of the characters. Also, based on the typicality and frequency of fragments of the mystical text units, we concluded that the main features of mystic literary discourse are mythologycality, ambivalence and philosophical. Lexical units primarily represent mythologycality as a parameter of the mystical artistic discourse. First of all, it is the nominations of beings associated with demonology and mythology in general called mythonyms. Among them mythotheonyms, mythoponyms, mythochrononyms, mythozoonyms, etc. Ambivalence as a parameter of the mystical literary discourse at the lexical level is primarily realized by the words-markers that indicate the shift in time and space. An example is the lexical-thematic group of words “dream”. Philosophical as a parameter of the mystical literary discourse is actualized through the text-discursive category of intetextuality. At the lexical level, it is manifested in the use of precedent names that refer the recipient to other mystical and horror works or sacred and apocryphal texts. Further prospects for the study are related to the description of the nature of other parameters of the mystic literary discourse and its text-forming units at different language levels., Статья посвящена изучению мистического художественного дискурса. Сопоставлены понятия «химерная проза» и «мистический художественный дискурс». Установлены жанровые черты и языковая специфика их выражения в мистическом художественном дискурсе. Доказано, что мистический художественный дискурс имеет свои жанрово-дискурсивные особенности, которые прежде всего реализуются на лексическом уровне.

The monograph under review is dedicated to the study of devil names used in various Lithuanian dialects, fixed expressions (phraseological units), and small genres of folklore. The devil names are analyzed from a word-formation perspective, taking into account the motivating characteristics: the habitat of the mythological character, features of appearance, its actions and functions, character traits, behavior and psychological characteristics. The lexical group, which consists of 482 names of the devil, is thoroughly studied from an ethnolinguistic perspective, including a wide context of ethnic culture, i.e., mythological and folklore contexts. It is significant that the author supports their research not only based on the Lithuanian tradition, but also on the basis of the cultural traditions of other peoples, especially the Slavs (Russians, Belarusians, and Poles), including different folklore and mythological materials of a number of peoples of Eastern and Western Europe including in their research. The reviewed book may be useful to Lithuanian researchers, such as linguists, ethnolinguists, ethnographers, mythologists, folklorists, etc., as well as to researchers from other countries interested in the same issue.

Анализируется регулятивный потенциал прецедентного имени в публицистическом дискурсе. На материале текстов газетного корпуса «Национального корпуса русского языка» рассматриваются способы актуализации регулятивной функции прецедентного имени. Проанализированы мифонимы, являющиеся яркими регулятивными средствами, привлекающими внимание адресата. Определены факторы, влияющие на степень регулятивности прецедентного онима в газетной публицистике, например, использование ситуативно обусловленного иллюстративного контекста, апелляция к первоисточнику, применение образных средств, трансформированных высказываний. Установлено, что регулятивный потенциал прецедентных онимов обусловлен реализацией культурно-просветительской и воздействующей функций газеты.

У статті проаналізовано особливості функціонування і стилістичну роль онімів у повісті «Химеросховище» Тіни Гальянової, висвітлено їх роль у побудові художнього твору. Метою статті є аналіз ономастикону творів Тіни Гальянової. Реалізація поставленої мети передбачає розв’язання таких завдань: зафіксувати у повісті усі онімічні назви; описати функціональні особливості онімів у зв’язку з фонетичними, лексико-семантичними, граматичними чинниками текстових структур. Предметом розгляду даної статті є онімікон повісті «Химеросховище» Тіни Гальянової, його конотативне і функціональне наповнення у художньому дискурсі письменниці. Об’єктом дослідження є семантико-функціональні особливості онімної лексики як компонента художньо-образної системи художнього твору. Мета й матеріал роботи зумовили використання таких методів та прийомів дослідження: відбір і систематизацію контекстів з онімами, їх мовну атрибуцію та інвентаризацію; компонентний аналіз експліцитних та імпліцитних складових семантичної структури власних назв; контекстний аналіз умов функціонування онімів у тексті. Основним методом дослідження є описовий, що дозволило на основі контекстуального аналізу схарактеризувати змістові, стилістичні, естетичні функції власних назв у мовно-художньому континуумі повісті. В результаті проведеного дослідження було встановлено, що у досліджуваному творі Тіни Гальянової найяскравішою рисою є феєрична ономатворчість., The article analyzes the peculiarities of the functioning of onyms in the tale of the Galyanova’s Tale “Chimeroschovische”, and their role in the construction of the artistic work is highlighted. The purpose of the article is to analyze the onomasticon of Tina Galyanova’s works. Realization of the set goal involves solving the following tasks: to detect all the onymic names in the story; to describe the functional features of onym in connection with phonetic, lexico-semantic and grammatical factors of text structures. The subject of consideration of this article is the onymikon of the novel “Chimeroschovische” by Tina Galyanova, its conotative and functional content in the artist's discourse of the writer. The object of research is the semantic-functional features of the onymic vocabulary as a component of the artistic-figurative system of artistic work. The purpose and the material of work led to the use of the following methods of research: selection and systematization of context with onym, their language attribution and inventory; component analysis of explicit and implicit components of the semantic structure of proper names; contextual analysis of the conditions of onymic operation in the text. The main method of research is descriptive, which allowed, on the basis of contextual analysis, to characterize the content, stylistic, aesthetic functions of names in the language and artistic continuum of the story. As a result of the research, it was found that in the investigated work of Tina Galyanova the most striking feature is the enormous onomatolo.

It has been carried out an analysis of the author neomythonyms ans mythappelatives. It is given examples of Russian and foreign onyms and appellatives and also enumerated some mythonyms in literature of the 20th century. The material for this work are fiction genres, namely: novel by D.A. Emets “Methodius Buslaev. Magician of the midnight”, novel by S. Antonov “Dark tunnels”, novel by A.D. Glukhovsky “Metro 2033” and a collection of Max Frei “Russian foreign fairy tale – 1”. Language units were selected by continuous sampling. The paper also considers such notions as neologisms, potebtial words and occasionalisms. Differences between neomythonyms and author neomythonyms, as well as between appellatives and mythappelatives are distinguished. The language of national fantasy and science fiction of 2021 centuries is marked by the criteria for determining author neomythonyms and mythappelatives: by the method of formation and functioning. According to the analysis of new lexical units it has been found an active expand of the vocabulary of the Russian language due to the appearance of new and onyms and appellatives that went beyond the occasional units and are widely used among fans of fantasy and science fiction. The emergence of such a large number of author units is due to the great creative potential of contemporary writers, and the active development of Russian science fiction and fantasy of 20-21 centuries.

Автор рассматривает такие понятия, как термин, медицинские термины и дает их классификацию. На основе английского и немецкого языков выделены медицинские термины с компонентом антропонимом, топонимом, мифонимом. Для правильного понимания и употребления медицинских терминов с компонентом-именем собственным автор дает их этимологию. В результате лексико-семантического анализа автор выявил, что в основе медицинских терминов с компонентом-антропонимом лежит полный перенос фамильного имени на созданный им медицинский термин. Медицинские термины с компонентом-топонимом отражают географические названия тех местностей, лесов, рек, стран, где они были выявлены впервые. Медицинские термины с компонентом-мифонимом получили свое название по имени мифических персонажей и античных героев, являются исторической памятью народа. Статья вносит вклад в развитие английской и немецкой медицинской терминологии, предназначается для составления курса по терминоведению и двуязычных словарей. The article deals with the lexical and semantic analysis of proper names for denoting medical terms on the material of the English and the German languages. The author considers the notions of the term and the medical term and classifies them. The components of medical terms are classified into anthroponyms, toponyms, mythonyms. To understand and use medical terms with proper names correctly the author explains their etymology. The results of the lexical and semantic analysis shows that medical terms with anthroponyms are based on the complete transfer of the family name of the person to the medical term created by him/her. Medical terms with toponyms reflect geographical names of those localities, forests, rivers, countries where they were identified first. Medical terms with mythonyms are named after mythological creatures and ancient heroes, and they are historical memory of the people. The article contributes to the research on English and German medical terminology; the material can be used for working out a course on terminology and for bilingual dictionaries as well.

The problems of scientific research is related to the issues of mythonyms metaphorization as the way of a person secondary nomination in the national dialects of the Tatar language. The field records of a distinctive dialect speech of Siberian Tatars living in the Tyumen region and recorded in 2014 were used as a research material. The semantic content was analyzed concerning the following language units: albasty, aurak, alamatse, yelbegan, matsgay, kupkyn, pitsen. These mythonyms are the elements of Siberian Tatars pagan worldview. The preserved views about the mythical characters demonstrate the "live" processes of culture formation and development in respect of the Tatar population in Western Siberia. In particular, the image of "albasty" is found in many cultures of the Turkic and non Turkic peoples and the image of "alamatse" is found only among the Siberian Tatars. However, each image has its own special interpretation in the outlook of an entire nation as well as of a particular locality people. That is why the language material is strictly differentiated by geographical distribution. The analyzed lexemes, which are the product of metaphor, are not actually described in lexicographical practice. Finally we have come to the conclusion that the basis of a word figurative meaning is the collective image of the mythical character or a specific symptom, such as an appearance, for example. The use of mythology nominative means in their new function of naming structure promotes the development of a word polysemantic structure. The negative connotation is preserved between the values of the same lexeme. The range of research results application is quite wide: from further scientific studies of the secondary nomination of a man in a dialect space of the Tatar language to the reconstruction of the linguistic world image during the preQuranic era.

The article deals with the names of the mythological characters of the folk tales in the texts recorded by Mykhailo Hyriak in the XX century in Presov Region, Slovakia. Analyzed items are compared with their variants in the folk texts from Pokuttia, Podillia, Transcarpathian, Poltava, Kyiv and Chernihiv Regions. Comparative analysis represents the differences in the naming of similar tale characters, semantic and functional peculiarities of the names. Also author pays attention to the influence of culture, language and traditions of the other ethnic groups on the system of the names in Lemko folk tales.
