Multihull vessels such as trimaran have been well known to have better transverse stability and can provide wider deck area and have been found to be quite successful when operated as passenger carriers. Trimaran has also been known to produce lower resistance, and hence lower power and less fuel consumption, compared to monohulls. The current research investigates the viscous interference hull of a displacement trimaran at various spacing configuration (up to S/L = 0.5) and Froude numbers (up to 0.27). Due to viscous interference between trimaran hulls, the viscous form greatly affects trimaran ship resistance. The trimaran's hull form ratio affects viscous drag more than velocity or hull clearance. Increases in hull distance (S/L) minimize interference and enhance viscous resistance by 1.57%. This study will present the interference effect of trimaran ship models' viscous resistance components, which can be used directly in the resistance calculation used to determine trimarans' engine power at the design stage.

El presente trabajo se enmarca dentro de los estudios no experimentales, de tipo descriptivo con métodos de estudio cualitativo y cuantitativos. El objeto de análisis del uso de la contabilidad administrativa como una herramienta para el desarrollo de la competitividad de las Empresas. El área de estudio tomada para el desarrollo de esta investigación es la ciudad de Pilar, perteneciente al departamento de Ñeembucú de Paraguay. Esta ciudad es el distrito principal del departamento y escenario de una dinámica comercial importante para el mismo, cuenta de empresas pequeñas y medianas reconocidas a nivel departamental. El presente estudio indica que el papel de la contabilidad administrativa es el de proporcionar soporte a la toma de decisiones de la micronesias en estudio, así como lo descrito por (Evia Puerto, 2006), ésa es su razón de ser; su utilidad se verá demostrada en la medida en que se logre su principal objetivo. La contabilidad administrativa se enfoca básicamente al futuro de la organización; por ello, es indispensable establecer la relación de la contabilidad administrativa con el proceso administrativo. La primera es una herramienta sumamente útil para las fases de planeación y control del mencionado proceso: en la etapa de planeación, por medio de la utilización de sistemas de planeación y control de utilidades. Aunque no es obligatoria, la mayoría de los microempresarios utilizan la contabilidad administrativa, siendo que con la mima, describen los registros, datos e información sobre los cuales se tomen decisiones acertadas en torno a la necesidades inmediatas y futura de la empresa.

Pengujian Blackbox Pada Virtual Reality Gamelan Saron Menggunakan Metode Equivalence Partition. Dalam pengembangan sebuah aplikasi, testing pada aplikasi sangat penting sebelum aplikasi dirilis. Testing berdasarkan kualitas dengan menggunakan Black Box mengutamakan pengujian fitur-fitur yang terdapat pada aplikasi, sehingga dapat menemukan permasalahan yang terjadi di aplikasi Gamelan VR Saron ini. Pada metode Black Box berbasis Equivalence Partition secara menyeluruh menguji dalam aspek penggunaan aplikasi Gamelan VR Saron. Dalam pengujian ini membutuhkan seleksi penggunaan berdasarkan test case, kemudian memastikan kualitas dari fitur-fitur yang tersedia serta menemukan error function yang bisa terjadi dalam aplikasi. Sehingga ujicoba pada aplikasi ini bisa menilai apakah telah sesuai dengan harapan dan direncanakan. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi ini dapat berjalan dengan baik tanpa adanya error sesuai dengan yang telah direncanakan. Hasil pengujian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai dokumentasi serta evaluasi untuk pengembangan aplikasi kedepannya.Kata Kunci: black box, equivalence partition, test case, error function, user Blackbox Testing on Virtual Reality Gamelan Saron Using the Equivalence Partition Method. One of the most used testing methods is Black Box testing, which involves deeply examining the application’s functionality without knowing its internal workings. The Equivalence Partition method is frequently used in Black Box testing to divide input values into groups and select test cases from each group. Potential errors can be identified by testing the available features with appropriate test cases, and future improvements can be made to ensure seamless application performance. In addition, testing results also serve as documentation and research for future development. By using this method, the developers of the VR Gamelan Saron application can ensure that its quality meets user expectations to improve its quality to provide an optimal user experience. The most important part that will be the handle of the Automotive company is to maximize its financial performance. The most important part to improve and achieve the goals of a company is to improve financial performance. The type of research data used is quantitative data using data that collects samples because it uses the approach explanatory reseach method to analyze and test the relationship to two variables, namely CEO behavior, Company Size being an independent variable and Company Performance being a dependent variable. The subject of this study data is to take a sample population of the automotive sub-sector & its components collected through the company's website and IDX from 2019 to 2021. Company performance is measured by ROE. The behavior of the CEO of Narcissism can be seen and assessed through the annual report of a company by posting photos. While the size of the company is calculated by natural logarithm multiplied by total sales (LnTotalSale). The conclusion was obtained that there is no influence of CEO Narcissism on company performance and Company Size on the Company Performance of the Automotive sub-sector and its components in 2019 – 2021. This study was undertaken to model and evaluate how fast Ghanaian teacher trainees master statistical concepts, in verification of the learning curve theory. The target population was all the 2020/2021 academic year level 300 teacher trainees in Ghana. However, St. Joseph’s College of Education (JOSCO), Bechem, was selected out of proximity from the 46 colleges of education in Ghana. At JOSCO, the Science/Mathematics, Agriculture/ICT and the Social Studies classes were randomly selected from the five level 300 classes and all the students in the three classes served as the experimental units. In effect, a ten-week period experimental tuition and evaluation on Educational Statistics was conducted and the data on the percentage of statistical concepts mastered by the teacher trainees were collected for the study. Tabular and graphical analyses on the data were carried out for the verification of the learning curve theory. Ordinary differential equations were used to derive the model for the prediction of the percentage of statistical concepts mastered by the teacher trainees. Graphical and numerical residual analyses were also conducted for the model adequacy checking. In all, the learning curve was successfully verified and the derived model was also found to be adequate for the prediction of the percentage of statistical concepts mastered by the teacher trainees at any point in time. This happens to be the first time research has been successfully conducted to verify the learning curve theory in statistical concept build-up in the colleges of education in Ghana.

Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is characterized by the presence of pulmonary hypoplasia or agenesis involving the left, right or both lungs, the failure of diaphragmatic closure, and the herniation of abdominal organs into the thoracic cavity. The incidence of diaphragmatic hernia ranges from approximately 0.8-5/10,000 births and varies across populations. The signs and symptoms including respiratory distress and bowel sounds in the chest cavity, no breathing sounds in one of the hemithorax and shifting of heart sounds. Chest X-ray is simple yet mostly available modality to confirm the diagnosis.

Voluntary Feed Intake (VFI) and Average Daily Gain (ADG) of three rabbit breeds fed on pigeon pea (PP), cowpea (CoP) and soybean (SB) as sources of protein for growing rabbits were determined. Flemish Giant (FG), California Black (CB) and New Zealand White (NZW)) were fed soybean (Glycine max), pigeon pea (Cajunus cajan) and cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) as protein sources in the ration. Eighteen rabbits weaned at six weeks of age were used for each breed (a total of 54 rabbits) out of which six of them were assigned to Ration 1 (containing 31.6% SB), six rabbits to ration 2 (containing 72% CoP) and the last six to Ration 3 (containing 70.18% PP). Background: Preeclampsia is a major complication of pregnancy and a major cause of perinatal and maternal morbidity and mortality. Vitamin D deficiency has been implicated in the aetiology and pathophysiology of preeclampsia. However, there is no uniformity in the findings of previous studies on the association between vitamin D and preeclampsia. Aims and Objectives: The study is aimed at determining the association between preeclampsia and maternal vitamin D deficiency. Materials and Methods: This nested case-control study was conducted among 158 pregnant women (78 preeclamptic women and 80 controls) with singleton pregnancies. Case participants were women with preeclampsia. The controls were matched pregnant women without preeclampsia. Their serum vitamin D levels were determined. Statistics: Continuous data was analysed using T-test. The statistical significance was inferred at p- value ≤0.05. Results: The prevalence of hypovitaminosis D in our study was 7.0% overall. The proportion of women with hypovitaminosis D was not significantly different between preeclampsia group and control group (7.7% vs 6.3% respectively; p=0.76). The mean serum concentration of vitamin D in the preeclamptic group was lower than that in the control group, however, the difference was not statistically significant (118.8±17.4nmol/L vs 129.0±19.7nmol/L, p=0.17). There was a weak association between gestational age and the level of serum vitamin D in both groups (r= 0.062 and r= -0.13 respectively). Conclusions: Hypovitaminosis D is not significantly associated with preeclampsia when compared with control. However, there was a weak association between gestational age and the level of serum vitamin D in both groups.

Wireless technology is presently one of the most actively researched fields of digital communication systems. Wireless communication technologies are insufficient without an understanding of antenna design and operation. A wide range of radio frequency equipment, including microwave antennas, microwave ovens, cordless telephones, and medical devices, utilize the 2.4 GHz band. In this article, a parabolic mesh dish was used to build and improve a bi-quad antenna with a central working frequency of 2.445 GHz. The bi-quad antenna was put in a parabolic mesh dish to optimize wave propagation. The findings show that the antenna obtained a signal strength range of 70% to 80%, increasing the directivity of WLAN coverage. The bi-quad antenna feed was placed in the center of a mesh dish, which assists in focusing radio waves onto the antenna. The bi-quad antenna outperformed the omnidirectional antenna, which had a signal strength of 56%. The results of each antenna test were separately simulated in MATLAB. The combined impact of bi-quad and parabolic was then duplicated using mathematical models, resulting in a unique waveform propagation pattern known as para-quad, which improved performance. A balanced RF power amplifier was conceived and built in this study. A 2.620 - 2.690GHz frequency range on a large signal Si-LDMOS transistor model achieves 53% PAE, 41dBm power output, and 14 dB gain at the P1dB saturation point.

For all firms to improve their financial management and ensure their financial sustainability, cash management is essential. Each organization needs to use sophisticated cash management procedures in order to achieve its goals. The retail sector is also one of the most important for the growth of the Philippine economy and the creation of jobs, thus this study looked empirically at the impact of cash management on the financial performance of the sector over a five-year period, from 2016 to 2021. To determine whether cash management has had an effect on these five (5) significant retails organizations' financial performance, the study looks at their financial statements. The data was gathered from each retail company's financial statement and website on the Philippine Stock Exchange Edge website. The study used the cash management ratio, or Cash Ratio (CR), as the independent variable, and the financial performance ratios, or Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Net Profit Ratio, as the dependent variables. In order to ascertain the correlations between different aspects of cash management and financial success, numerous regression and correlation analysis on the data were performed. The research found that the selected five (5) retail enterprises' financial performance was positively but marginally impacted by the Cash Ratio. The report thus advises that these key firms in the Philippine retail sector execute their cash management effectively in a way that enhances financial success.

It has been forty years since TCP/IP was standardized as RFC 793. The spectacular success of the Internet has validated the design choices of its protocols and architecture. However, the evolution of the services and applications running over the Internet, new societal requirements and the general unavoidable obsolescence of any protocol will at some point require rethinking the current protocols and potentially replacing them with new ones. New technology has emerged in limited domains networks, such as data centers, that may hint at a way forward for the overall Internet architecture. We present an overview of the recent and current work on post-IP networking and discuss the drivers and motivations that will push us to reimagine IP.

The magneto-transport equation relating to the density of photogenerated minority carriers in the (p) base of the (n+/p/p+) solar cell illuminated by monochromatic light in frequency modulation, is solved. The diffusion coefficient of the minority carriers in the base, placed under temperature and magnetic field variation, passes through a maximum, at the double resonance points, in temperature and at the frequency of the cyclotron. The photocurrent is reproduced as a function of the recombination velocity at the junction, for the maximum values of the diffusion coefficient. The expressions of the minority carriers ’recombination velocity on the rear side are deduced and their graphical representation gives the optimum thickness, specific to a high absorption coefficient, for the maximum values of the diffusion coefficient. The results obtained from the optimum thickness are modelled and analyzed, in favor of a reduction of silicon material, for the development of economical solar cells.

The optimum thickness (Hopt) of the base of the solar cell is obtained, by the graphical method of representing the recombination velocity of the minority carriers on the back side. The optimum thickness (Hopt) decreases with both, the applied magnetic field and temperature, and justifies the material saving by established modeling expressions.

Based on these problems, a motorcycle showroom information system is needed. Building an information system, requires analysis of requirements and system design, so that the system implemented is in accordance with user needs. The purpose of this research is to model business processes, analyze requirements specifications and system design, and evaluate requirements specifications and system interface designs. This study uses BPMN to model business processes and in this problem is described by UML (Unified Modeling Language). computerized and the resulting information can meet the needs of users as system users.

The bioavailability levels of cadmium (Cd) and (CPO) in water and polluted food has become worrisome over the years. The study was aimed at investigating the effects of concurrent food-chain simulation of cadmium and crude petroleum oil pollution on amylase activity in Wistar rats. Simulation of both Cd and CPO pollution was done in the water in which catfish were housed for 1 month at a daily dose of 4 and 0.8 ppm respectively. The fish were then used as source of protein in formulation of diet for feeding rats for 1 and 2 months respectively. The rats were granted access to drinking water at will, weighed at the end of the feeding periods and sacrificed followed by removal of the duodenal portion of the small intestine. Weight gain and intestinal/body weight ratio was measured and the activity of amylase assayed. The results showed a non-significant difference (p ˃ 0.05) in the intestinal/body weight ratio and amylase activity after 1 month of simulated pollution. While, there was a significant decrease (p < 0.05) in weight gain and amylase activity after 2 months. Cd and CPO mixture therefore, has a deleterious effect on the environment and subsequently animals especially man as the final consumer in the food-chain.

Flood is a natural disaster and occurred in different forms. It is also a factor of climate change. Flash flood is a type of flood that occurs within few hours of intensive precipitation. It poses serious threat to urban areas, particularly in less developed countries. Geospatial technology has been very useful in mapping spatial extent and quantified damages associated with flash flood events. Proximity analysis and AHP has been widely utilized in modeling flash flood vulnerable zones. Little was known about MCA ranking method which is considered appropriate for few parameters in making complex decisions. This study utilized MCA ranking method to analyzed flash flood risk within Ntawogba Creek, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Rainfall, slope model, impervious surface and distance to river were used in the decision making. The datasets were processed into common spatial referenced system. Each criterion was scaled from 5 to 1, with 5 being very high risk and 1 very low risk area. Weights were assigned to the criteria based on the importance, with higher weight to criterion that is more important in the decision making process. The weights are; distance to water channel 48, impervious surface 25, slope 22 and rainfall 5. The results obtained showed area of 93.0ha as very high flash flood risk representing 6% of the area. This zone was located along Ntawogba Creek and on major roads. Total area of high risk zone was 864.1ha representing 56%, moderate risk and low risk zone was 452.2ha and 134.7ha with 29.3 5 and 8.7% respectively. For further study, drainage density and soil infiltration should be included in the flash flood risk analysis.

COVID-19 is a severe respiratory infection caused by coronavirus 2. (SARS-CoV-2). Even while SARS-CoV-2 predominantly affects the respiratory system, it can cause problems for other important organs as well. Multiple novel variations of concern have appeared since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, including the Alpha (B.1.1.7), Beta (B.1.351), Gamma (P.1), Delta (B.1.617.2), and Omicron (B.1.1.529), all of which are linked to increased transmissibility and severity. Both the newly discovered variants and the most recent innovative treatments for the treatment of COVID-19 are discussed in this work. Care for people with this disease is discussed, with an emphasis on the need of clinical interprofessional teams, government health organisations, and community involvement.

Local nuts are an alternative source of vegetable protein that is cheap and affordable by the people of Indonesia. Peanuts whose potential has not been fully explored, including red beans, green beans, and cowpeas are types of beans that have the potential to be developed in various products of the food industry (Fachrudin, 2009). One type of legume that is very good for consumption is red beans. This study aims to determine the addition (CMC) and storage time at cold temperature to the characteristics of red bean milk. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial pattern with two factors and two replications, namely factor I was the addition of CMC treatment consisting of 4 levels, namely: (0.04%), (0.06%), (0.08 %), (0.10%). Factor Il is the treatment of shelf life which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0 days, 3 days, 6 days, and 9 days. Observations were carried out objectively including: moisture content, ash content, fat content, protein content, carbohydrates, viscosity, pH and color. Meanwhile, subjective observations include: color, aroma, taste, texture and overall acceptance. The best research results were obtained in the treatment with the addition of 0.06% CMC and storage time on day 3, with the results of 91.82% moisture content, 0.64% ash content, 1.92% fat content, 3.09 protein content. %, carbohydrate content of 2.73%, viscosity 29.75%, pH level of 6.57%, and subjectively have the highest preference for panelists

Objetivo: identificar as evidências científicas relacionadas à interrupção do aleitamento materno exclusivo entre crianças menores de seis meses na Atenção Primária à Saúde. Métodos: Revisão Integrativa da Literatura realizada nas bases LILACS, Scopus e PubMed®, com utilização dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde em português: “Aleitamento Materno”, “Desmame Precoce”, “Atenção Primaria à Saúde”, no período de 2014 a 2021. Resultados: foram selecionados 11 estudos para análise interpretativa que permitiu a identificação dos principais fatores que levaram ao desmame precoce: desconhecimento da mulher, percepção da mulher de que tem leite fraco/insuficiente e o trabalho materno fora do lar. O apoio e promoção da amamentação foi um fator que contribuiu para a manutenção do aleitamento materno exclusivo até o sexto mês. Conclusão: é primordial que a equipe de saúde identifique os fatores que prejudicam o aleitamento materno exclusivo para promover, apoiar e incentivar esta prática diminuindo os índices de desmame precoce.

Studies show that the skirmish between Fulani pastoralists and farmers is primarily a dispute over water and land use. A need for increased agricultural production and expanded grazing pastures has increased the demand for land. This conflict stands out because of the boldness of the combatants and the various proposed explanations for its cause. While many studies have simplified this crisis into grazing, farming, and water disputes, it is imperative to acknowledge that climate change has offset the balance in distributing these resources. While farmers fault the Fulani herders for failing to control their animals, leading to crop damage, the Fulani herders complain to the government, indicating that farmers are attacking them with the intention of stealing their animals. The findings revealed how climate change in northern Nigeria escalated this conflict. These results suggest that urgent measures are needed before these conflicts destabilise the state.

The consumption of rice has increased at an increasing rate globally with greater number of consumers deriving high calories through rice, hence the need for training of rice farmers to help increase its production to meet such high demand. This notion informed Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to collaborate with Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) and Government of Ghana (GoG) to train rice farmers in Ghana specifically in the Northern, Savana and North-east Regions. The ‘rain-fed lowland rice production technology training’, which was intended to increase rice production and profitability of rice farmers in the selected regions was carried out successfully within the project time frame. This study sought to evaluate the success of the training along two key objectives - ascertaining the extent to which the training has contributed to increase in rice yield (per hectare) of farmers in the selected areas and assessing the correlation between the components (land development and rice cultivation) of the training project on rice yield in the selected areas. The findings revealed the there was increase in rice farmers yield per hectare after the training and there was also a positive correlation between land development as a component of the training and rice cultivation in the selected area. The research recommend that MoFA should endeavour to replicate the JICA training on rain-fed lowland rice production technology across all rice production areas in Ghana.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengujian Penggunaan Styrofoam sebagai bahan tambah dalam campuran Laston Lapis Antara. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah perancangan desain campuran Laston Lapis Antara dan pengujian perendaman Marshall untuk karakteristik campuran. Hasil penelitian melalui uji perendaman Marshall konvensional diperoleh campuran Laston Lapis Antara dengan kadar Styrofoam sebagai bahan tambah yaitu 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% dengan kadar aspal 5,0 % memenuhi persyaratan standar Bina Marga 2018. Hasil pengujian karakteristik Marshall Konvensional campuran Laston Lapis Antara dengan bahan tambah Styrofoam yaitu jika kadar Styrofoam bertambah, maka nilai nilai VIM, Flow dan VMA yang mengalami penurunan pada setiap kadar Styrofoamnya, sedangkan untuk nilai Stabilitas, dan VFB yang mengalami peningkatan. Pengaruh penambahan Styrofoam dapat meningkatkan kinerja campuran Laston Lapis Antara, dimana nilai stabilitas meningkat dan kelelehannya menurun.

Abstract This is the first report of a Mountain Bluebird (Sialia currucoides) on Bermuda. A female Mountain Bluebird was observed between 24 February and 23 March 2021 at Port Royal Golf Course (32°15'44"N, 64°52'26"W) on the island’s southwestern edge. This observation also represents the first record of the species outside North America. This paper presents Non-Preemptive priority fuzzy queuing model with asymmetrical service rates. Arrival rate and service rate are taken to be hexagonal, heptagonal, and octagonal fuzzy numbers. Here an interpretation is given to determine the performance measures by applying a new ranking technique through which the fuzzy values are reduced to the crisp values. This ranking technique has the benefit of being precise and relevant compared to other methods such as alpha-cut method and LR method. The main intention is to evaluate the fuzziness before the performance measures are processed by utilizing the regular queueing hypothesis. Three numerical examples are exhibited to show the validity implementation of the methodology.
