In this paper, I provide an ethnography of the Maya New Year’s pilgrimage and sacrifice ritual, in which a delicate relatedness between people and animate mountains is enacted and expressed. Moreover, I discuss some of the recent attempts to challenge representationalist approaches in Maya studies.

Child as a victim of sexual crimes Abstract Child sexual abuse is a very serious issue on a global scale. Although child abuse is gradually being de-tabooed and has more space, there is still a significant amount of people in our society who believe that this problem should be looked at as a personal matter of each family to be resolved on their own. Precisely this opinion is the factor that does not allow children to reach the support they so desperately require and reduces the likelihood of detecting the criminal activity and punishing the perpetrator. It is therefore essential for appropriate education to be offered to our population containing enlightenment on the issue of sexual abuse of children and the specific features that are typical for this type of criminality. Children are much more vulnerable as victims than adults. It emerges from their physical and psychological prerequisites. They are smaller and weaker. Their psyche is not yet fully developed, so they are more impressionable, trusting, submissive and open. At the same time, they do not yet possess fully developed complex thinking to enable them to thoughtfully gauge. And their weakest point is their utter dependence on adults. The diploma thesis deals with the meaning of forgiveness and restorative social processes. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the concept of forgiveness in various professional discourses and social work. The The diploma thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of forgiveness from a theological point of view. The second chapter deals with the concept of forgiveness in ethical-philosophical, psychological and pedagogical discourse. The third chapter focuses on perpetrators and victims of crimes, how it is possible to work with them within the framework of social work. How is it possible to achieve forgiveness and reconciliation by connecting everyone who has been affected by criminal activity, therefore perpetrators, victims but also the whole society.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of bullying of teachers by pupils. This is a significant problem, but one that has often received insufficient attention in the literature. Nowadays, it is becoming even more relevant, and therefore this phenomenon has been discussed more frequently. The present paper is a literature search based on original empirical research on teacher-pupil bullying. The aim of the thesis is to provide an insight into the issues surrounding this form of bullying and to summarise the basic knowledge associated with it. The thesis also looks at possible solutions. The main purpose of the literature search is to sort out information about the frequency of bullying and its causes. Understanding the reasons may help to reduce the incidence of this phenomenon. The last part is devoted to possible solutions. Approaches that could lead to a reduction or complete elimination of bullying.

This bachelor thesis deals with bullying in secondary schools and its issues. My thesis focuses on the knowledge of high school students regarding bullying and also prevention. The first part of my bachelor thesis is theoretical. The theoretical part is dedicated to bullying, where bullying is described as a concept, then the stages of bullying and its forms are described. In the next chapter I define who is a participant of bullying, as a victim and aggressor, what are the consequences of bullying for the participants. I also deal with prevention. In the second part I describe my own research. The aim of my bachelor's thesis was to describe how high school students perceive the issue of bullying, then the sub-objectives were to find out what the manifestations of bullying are according to the students, whether they know any prevention programs and what knowledge they have about bullying. Qualitative research was chosen to meet the objective. The research method is questioning, and the technique is semi-structured interview with nine communication partners. Open coding method was used to evaluate the data that was collected during the research. In order to achieve the predetermined objectives, I used four research questions: What knowledge about bullying do high school students have?; What are the manifestations of bullying according to high school students?; What anti-bullying programs do high school students know?; Have high school students ever encountered bullying? The research showed that students know what bullying means and how it manifests itself. Students have an overview of what forms bullying takes. Some students have personally experienced bullying as witnesses. Students have mostly encountered prevention programmes in school lectures. For most students, prevention is provided in their schools and bullying does not occur.

The bachelor thesis focuses on bullying of people with intellectual disabilities. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. At the beginning it is stated what mental disability is, then what is its division. There is also a separate section on bullying, where bullying prevention, bullying division or its solution are also mentioned. The last part of the thesis is focused on research, through interviews with people with intellectual disabilities. The aim of the work was to find out the experiences of mentally disabled people with bullying. It is determined that mentally handicapped people are informed about bullying and what their options are, who they can turn to in case of bullying. Research shows that people with disabilities do suffer from bullying. The results of my research can be used by teachers, educators and parents of mentally disabled people. My work could help solve bullying problems by showing which problems to focus on and how to solve them. I chose the qualitative research methods for collecting and analysis of data.

The bachelor thesis deals with the current trends of bullying in primary schools. The theoretical part includes, for example, the characteristics of bullying before the crisis, its selected aspects, bullying during the crisis and the experience with the implementation of bullying prevention in both periods (before and during). The text is oriented towards the theoretical presentation of the topic of bullying, i.e. explanation of concepts, stages, diagnostics, etc. The practical part deals with the experience of the approach to the implementation of school prevention before and during the pandemic. The aim of the thesis is therefore to find out whether teachers implement prevention also in the context of online teaching and how to improve it if necessary. In line with the aim of the thesis, a quantitative research approach is designed and used and data collection through questionnaires. The target group for the mailing are pupils and teachers of 2nd grade of primary schools in the South Bohemia region.

Background: Globalization has prompted the decrease and fading of boundaries among nations, thus facilitating the movement of merchandise, administrations, assets, and work. This has escalated transnational violations, for example, human trafficking. Human trafficking has predominantly been based on forced labour, sex work, organ harvesting, and other heinous acts. Prior to international drug smuggling, it has been one of the most lucrative transnational crimes. The continent of Africa is home to a significant fraction of the world’s youth population whose economies are unable to absorb the majority into an active workforce. Thus, this may have an impact on the prevalence of people trafficking in African civilizations. Niger, Burkina Faso, Mali, Nigeria, Gabon, Ghana, Benin, Guinea-Bissau, and Togo are the main human trafficking hotspots, with women and young people being the most susceptible. Objective: The study's objective is to examine the socioeconomic implications of human trafficking in Ghana, with a focus on the Ashanti region's Asokore Mampong district. Method: Using a qualitative cross-sectional approach, the study was carried out in the Ashanti region of Ghana's Asokore Mampong municipal district. The study relied on primary data sources from 42 police and immigration services and the vision organizations in the Asokore Mampong municipality. Interviews were also collected from four families with relatives who have been previous victims of human trafficking. The purposive sampling technique was employed to draft specific respondents who were then interviewed. The snowballing method was used to select families with human trafficking victims. A qualitative procedure was utilized to break down the information using Atlas. ti software. A descriptive method of data analysis was employed in the information presented after the data analysis. Results: The study found that some of the socioeconomic effects of human trafficking in the municipality included loss of income, feeling of embarrassment, property, missing or deceased relatives, and debt. According to the survey, child trafficking and domestic slavery of women in the Gulf States account for 40% and 60%, respectively, of the incidents of human trafficking in the Asokore Mampong municipal region. The primary challenges in the battle against human trafficking among the institutions include the absence or limited logistics for operations, inadequate funds, and insufficient staffing among the police and immigration services. Conclusion: The study has shown that human trafficking is prevalent in the Asokore Mampong municipality. The Moral Crime and its Prevention Abstract The thesis deals with the topic of moral crime and its prevention. The aim of this thesis is to provide a basic overview of the field of moral crime, to define the basic concepts related to this issue and to provide a deeper insight into the interpretation of selected sexual offences. This thesis is composed of four main chapters, each of which focuses on different aspects of the matter at hand and attempts to grasp it from multiple different perspectives. The introductory chapter contains definitions of basic terms related to sexual offences. It concentrates on defining terms such as morality, law or moral crime itself. It focuses primarily on the relationship between these terms, how law and morality differ from each other, and defines the general concept of crime in terms of legal and sociological concepts. Recently, a documentary called "Caught in the net" appeared in Czech cinema, which opened up the ignored topic of sexual abuse of children. So the subject of my thesis is to expand above mentioned topic. The thesis itself is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part, where the theoretical part deals with the analysis of individual sexual crimes committed against children, as defined by the third chapter of the special part of the Criminal Code. In the context of the above-mentioned documentary film "Caught in the net" - it is necessary to point out the term of cybergrooming, which is a relatively new observable way of committing a sex crime via the internet, which is related to the crime of establishing illegal contact with a child under § 193b of the Criminal Code. The facts of the case of this crime is fulfilled at the moment when the offender proposes a personal meeting to a child under fifteen years of age, in connection with the specific intention to commit the crime of sexual abuse according to § 187 par. 1 of the Criminal Code, production and other handling of child pornography according to § 192 of the Criminal Code , abuse of a child for the production of pornography pursuant to Section 193 of the Criminal Code, seduction for sexual intercourse pursuant to Section 202 (2) of the...

Committing a crime always means a big change in the lives of both the victim and the perpetrator. The psychological and social aspects of the victim of crime are affected. This bachelor thesis is focused on helping victims of crime. The main goal of this thesis was to find out what opportunities to help women - victims of social work crime in České Budějovice. This thesis is divided into two parts, a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts, the rights of particularly vulnerable victims and the difference between them in comparison with the rights of the injured party are also listed. A substantial part of the work is devoted to legislation, which analyzes the constitutional order of the Czech Republic (CR) and international law. The empirical part was performed on the basis of a qualitative research strategy, then the data were categorized. The technique of questioning using a semi-structured interview, which consisted of 13 open-ended questions, was used to obtain data. A total of three informants from the area of assistance to victims of crime in České Budějovice were contacted, who subsequently formed a research group. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained data revealed that social work in České Budějovice offers a wide range of opportunities to help women as victims of crime. The informants mentioned the possibilities of women and also informed about changes in provision due to the pandemic. The results of the research can serve to raise awareness of society, as well as an information source for workers in organizations helping women as victims of crime.

The work focuses on seniors as people at risk of domestic violence. The work theoretically defines domestic violence, old age and seniors, then focuses on the specifics of domestic violence committed against seniors. The thesis defines the risk factors that can prevent domestic violence, it also focuses on the effects of domestic violence on the elderly. The thesis also deals with the ethical aspect of domestic violence and provides an ethical evaluation of violent behavior. Emphasis is placed on possible forms of resolving domestic violence. The thesis focuses on ethics in social work, deals with the code of ethics and values that are crucial in working with vulnerable seniors. The thesis describes the approach of a social worker to an endangered senior in solving domestic violence. The conclusion describes the case studies of vulnerable senior women who transfer theoretical knowledge to the practice of social work with seniors at risk of domestic violence.

This diploma thesis entitled The Doctrine of Creation and Theology of the Neglected World: A Conversation with O. Clément, R. Rohr, N. T. Wright and the Pope Francis aims to interpret the doctrine of creation and theology of the world as helping to rediscover the significance of today's neglected world as an inhabited and habitable place created by a good Creator who gave the world its eschatological orientation, which is renewed through Christ and in the Spirit. In this study I have a conversation with French Orthodox theologian Olivier Clément, the American Franciscan Richard Rohr, the British Anglican theologian and Bishop N. T. Wright and the Latin American Pope Francis. Each of them helps me, in a specific way, to understand in what sense the neglected world, together with man, can and does undergo transformations so that 'the world for death becomes the world for glory.' This perspective of creation which is eucharistic, universal, continuous and good shows how to achieve this goal.

1 Abstract The Moral Crime and its Prevention The submitted thesis deals with the topic of moral criminality and the options of its prevention. The main goal of this thesis is to give a deeper overview of this topic, the current legislative with an emphasis on sexual offences, its victims and the processes of victimization. The thesis is divided into five chapters, of which the first four are dealing with related topics on theoretical level, the last chapter deals with particular moral offences. In the first chapters the attention is paid to the concept of human sexuality, human sexual instinct and the variability of tolerated manifestations of sexuality in society and the reflection of human sexuality in the concept of morality. Subsequently, moral crime is defined, individual moral offences are listed, and the division of these offences according to various criteria is provided. Considerable space is provided to the topic of offenders and especially the victims of moral crime, both in criminal and criminological optics. 1 Criminalistic theory of victims of crime Abstract The diploma thesis focused on Criminalization of Crime Victims deals with the issue of victims from the perspective of criminalistic victimology, which is a relatively young field examining the victim in terms of its impact on the crime investigation process, in connection with victimology findings. The thesis is divided into introduction, conclusion and four chapters, which provide insight into the issues of criminalistic victimology. The first chapter is devoted to the primary characteristics of the concerned field, including the definition of basic terms. 1 Assistance to victims of Crimes Abstract This thesis is focused on the assistance to victims of crimes. It examines the topic especially on the legal level, from various points of view. It deals with the assistance to victims in terms of legislation, mainly domestic, but also foreign, then it examines the application of legislation in practice and further it analyzes the findings while including suggestions for possible improvement. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the Victims of Crime Act, whether its written form or its application in practice and to propose possible amendments in order to improve the role of the victim, which is after all an unwritten purpose of the Victims of Crime Act. This thesis is divided to an introduction, five separate chapters and a conclusion. In its first chapter, the thesis is focused on the person of the victim, purely from the point of view of the legislation. It defines direct and indirect victim, as well as particularly vulnerable victim. Finally it describes differences between a victim and an injured party. The work deals with bullying and cyberbullying. It shows its forms and types, who can be affected by bullying and direct actors. It also describes prevention and organizations that deal with it and can help children with a problem. Legislative measures in the event of a serious problem are also outlined here. In the practical part, the pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school are interviewed, who answered what is their experience with bullying and cyberbullying, how they solved everything and to whom they turned in case of a problem. The practical part is supplemented by an interview with the prevention methodologist at the school where the pupils were given a questionnaire. The evaluation of the questionnaire showed that the pupils encountered both bullying and cyberbullying. 28% of respondents turned out to be victims of bullying, 5% to cyberbullying. This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of systemic approaches of social workers in relation to victims of domestic violence. The main goal of this work was to map the approach of a social worker and his/her method of dealing with victims of domestic violence. In the theoretical part of the work, the issue of domestic violence was introduced. In my thesis I present individual areas focused on forms of violent behavior, characteristic features of domestic violence, including its causes and consequences and also the area mentioning the preconditions of a social worker for the performance of social work. Attention was also focused on the attitudes of social workers to individuals involved in domestic violence and feasible forms of assistance, including selected organizations focusing on this target group. A qualitative research strategy was used to develop the empirical part. Individual data were obtained through a semi-structured interview with five social workers from three organizations focused on helping people at risk of domestic violence. The research questions were focused on finding out the possibilities of education of social workers and their perception of the strengths and weaknesses of the organization in which they work. The questions also focused on how social workers work with people at risk of domestic violence, including perpetrators, and on the ways of help which they can provide. The aim of the research questions was also to examine the cooperation of social workers and organizations providing aftercare and work with the endangered person in the field of domestic violence. The work could be of benefit to students of social sciences, which could help them in a real and practical view of the work of social workers with this target group. The result of this work can also serve for the general public, as a summary of information about victims of domestic violence, possible forms of assistance and raising awareness of services and missions of organizations providing assistance to endangered people. It can also help to identify possible shortages in the addressed organizations and eventually make a suggestion for their improvement.

Secondary victimization of victims of sexual crimes by law enforcement authorities Abstract Although victims of crime received more attention in recent years than ever before, there are lots of myths about them in our society. These myths distort the view not only of the victims themselves, but of moral crimes in general and subsequently they have influence as to how victims are treated. A victim who reports a sexually motivated crime has to face stressful and confusing criminal proceedings. During the proceedings victims are usually forced to testify repeatedly, meet the perpetrator, respond to hurtful questions about their past, their relationship with the perpetrator and justify their behaviour during primary victimization. All of these uncomfortable experiences are the causes of secondary victimization by law enforcement authorities. The main aim of this thesis was to analyze criminal proceedings from the perspective of victims and focus on dangerous situations during which law enforcement authorities can cause secondary victimization to them. Secondary victimization of victims of sexual offenses Abstract The submitted rigorous thesis on the topic of secondary victimization of victims of sexual offenses aims to acquaint its readers with the issue of secondary victimization, especially in relation to particularly vulnerable victims of sexual offenses. The thesis introduces the basic concepts important for the issue and then focuses on secondary methods of victimization of rape victims and child victims of sexual offenses, while also discussing specific options for preventing and alleviating secondary victimization of these victims. The thesis also contains a section devoted to opportunities to help these victims. The thesis is divided into an introduction, five chapters and a conclusion. The subject of the bachelor thesis is mobbing and bossing as a negative phenomenon that occurs in the workplaces. Mobbing is the systematic bullying of an employee in the workplace by colleagues, bossing is bullying by a superior employee. This thesis aims to map the incidence, frequency, characteristics and strategies of mobbing and bossing in the workplaces of government institutions and the private sector and to compare the occurrence of bossing in the workplaces of South Bohemia and Prague. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first, the theoretical part, defines mobbing and bossing, describes their features, causes, goals, strategies, aggressors and victims, consequences, defence and prevention. The second, the practical part, focuses on the quantitative investigation based on an anonymous electronic questionnaire. The results of the questionnaire survey are answered in detail and hypotheses are analysed and evaluated.

The main goal of this work is to evaluate whether effective legislation provides victims with protection against secondary harm. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of bullying at high schools. It is focused on two main protagonists of bullying: victims and primarily bullies. The aim of the thesis was to analyse the prevalence and the forms of bullying at high schools and to describe two main protagonists of the bullying. Theoretical part consists of the theoretical framework, which is based upon not only Czech, but especially a foreign literature. The practical part includes questionnaire that was carried out on three different high schools in Sedlcany in which 180 respondents participated. The evaluation and comparison are made among beforementioned high schools.

The presented work aims to outline some starting points of the gift theology. The first chapter follows the discourse of the gift in social science disciplines: especially phenomenological philosophy, ethnology, sociology of anthropology, economics. The second chapter, by working with concordance, presents the biblical basis of gift theology. The bachelor's thesis deals with a summary of existing knowledge about the issue of bullying and the use of this information in a questionnaire survey conducted among primary school teachers. The work also offers the opportunity to take into account different concepts of prevention and prevention programs that will help prevent a greater increase in bullying in schools. The questionnaire survey aims to find out to what extent teachers feel familiar with the prevention of risky behavior and how they evaluate the implementation of prevention and solution of possible risky behavior at school. The work maps the awareness of primary school teachers about the issue of prevention and thus provides possible correlations between various factors that may affect the relationship of teachers to bullying and its prevention.

The bachelor thesis deals with the prevention of domestic violence from the perspective of social work. In the first chapter I deal with the introduction to the issue of the phenomenon itself, what are its forms, character and features. In the second chapter I present social work focused on working with victims and cooperation with state administration in solving this problem, solution options and types of help. In the third chapter I deal with the prevention of domestic violence, what role social work plays in the field of prevention and what is the subsequent support to victims.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to introduce the issue of domestic violence, with the focus on the people affected by domestic violence as a target group. The subsequent goal of this thesis is to identify possible solutions in organizations helping the victims of domestic violence. Another goal is to publish current statistics of the increase or decrease in cases of domestic violence in the Czech Republic since the validity of the institute of expulsion pursuant to Act No. 273/2008 Coll., On the Police of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part presents a comprehensive view of the current state of domestic violence. In this part of the thesis, domestic violence is defined as such and the individual features of domestic violence are described in detail. It also focuses on the characteristics of all participants in domestic violence. In the last chapter of the theoretical part, attention is paid to professional assistance to victims of domestic violence. The aim of the practical part is to describe the issue of domestic violence with the focus on the target group. Another goal is to identify possible solutions in organizations helping the victims of domestic violence. In this part of the thesis, official statistics about domestic violence is presented. This bachelor thesis could serve not only to police officers, students, but also to the general public to obtain more expert knowledge about domestic violence and its comprehensive approach. Moreover, it offers solutions to domestic violence with the Police of the Czech Republic and other organizations that help victims of domestic violence. The thesis can be used as a suitable source of information not only for employees and clients of intervention centres, but also for the general public.
