This research article concentrates on process conditions in addition to improving color selections in polymer compounders and developing more accurate simulation models. The feed rate (FR), temperature (T) and screw speed (SS) are three processing variables that the research investigates using general trends (GTs) and Box–Behnken design (BBD) response surface methodology. The identical set of processing settings was tweaked at three separate phases independently of one another. This study uses the experimental design to investigate process parameters' optimization while holding all other parameters constant. This design was given the name GT. To develop this design and its statistical optimization, this study used the software of the design expert method. A regression model was run in this design, which displayed collective as well as individual effects of the parameters on color images. The values of tri-stimulus color with the best optimization had the smallest proper color variance (dE*). To obtain information on pigment characteristics, an SEM image analysis was conducted, which aids in improving future designs and overcoming manufacturing issues that affect color fluctuation properties and waste reduction for various chemical grades, both of which enhance environmentally friendly processes. The title compound, C10H10FNO3, also known as [4-((4-fluorophenyl)amino)-4-oxobutanoic acid] (BFAOB), is synthesized efficiently, and its structure is confirmed by the SC-XRD technique, which indicates that two crystallographically different molecules are present in the asymmetric unit. The fluorobenzene ring is oriented at a dihedral angle of 76.09 (9)° and 23.7 (2)° with respect to acetamide moiety in the first and second types of molecule, respectively. A molecular overlay plot is employed to explore the difference between two types of molecules. Strong hydrogen bonding of type N–H...O, O–H...O and comparatively weak hydrogen bonding of type C-H...O stabilize the crystal packing. The titled compound is also characterized by powder XRD. Hirshfeld surface inspection is carried out to explore the non-covalent interactions that are responsible for crystal packing. In this study, simplex-centroid design was used to maximize both tensile strength (TS) and flexural strength (FS) of sisal–hemp fiber reinforced high density polyethylene (HDPE) composite mixture. The fibers were treated with NaOH followed by maleic anhydride, to improve their adhesion with matrix, and characterized by FTIR. The TS and FS of the prepared specimens were modeled using ANOVA regression modeling. The quadratic model was best fitted and optimized process conditions are 80% HDPE, 10% sisal and 10% hemp for TS and 70% HDPE, 15% sisal and 15% hemp for FS. Multiple response optimization yields that a mixture of 80% HDPE, 10% sisal and 10% hemp exhibits maximum TS and FS of 20.3 MPa and 18.5 MPa, respectively. The TS and FS are observed to be more sensitive to the content of sisal fibers in the composite, as indicated through Trace plot. SEM examinations of the fractured surfaces reveal primary failure mechanisms as fiber pull-out, fiber delamination and fiber breakage. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
