Cold chain logistics packaging technology is crucial for the operation of perishable food chains （such as meat, fish, dairy products, fruit and vegetable products） and certain products in the pharmaceutical industry （such as vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, and blood products）. In the future, the cold chain logistics packaging of fresh agricultural products will tend towards high-performance, environmentally friendly, and digital development. The article reviews the packaging technologies used in the cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products in recent years. Analyzes the characteristics, use value, application scope, technical advantages and disadvantages of different packaging materials, and analyzes the potential cold chain logistics packaging technologies and materials for agricultural products, as well as the composite use of different packaging technologies, in order to explore the optimal packaging for different fresh agricultural products. Develop corresponding cold chain logistics packaging tailored to different fresh agricultural products, gradually abandoning packaging technologies with low recycling rates and poor performance. By increasing the frequency of recycling and reducing the cost of using high-performance materials, to reduce losses in the cold chain logistics of fresh agricultural products and achieve the goal of environmental friendliness.

A promising approach that uses the sol–gel method to manufacture new breathable active films with self-cleaning and antibacterial surfaces is based on the PET membranes obtained via ion track technology with a pore density of 10–7 cm−2 and a pore diameter of about 500 ± 15 nm, coated with a layer of TiO2 anatase, with a thickness of up to 80 nm. The formation of the photocatalytically active TiO2 anatase phase was confirmed using Raman analysis. Coating the PET membrane with a layer of TiO2 increased the hydrophobicity of the system (CA increased from 64.2 to 92.4, and the antibacterial activity was evaluated using Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria with the logarithmic reduction factors of 3.34 and 4.24, respectively).

In the present study, a novel method was proposed to pack long glass fibers into a narrow-bore capillary for capillary electrochromatography (CEC) applications. The factors that influence the packing process were studied in detail. The results demonstrated that solvents played dual roles to introduce the glass fiber into the capillary during the packing process, a lubricant and a carrying reagent. A preliminary CEC performance, between a glass fiber-packed-C18-bonded open tubular column and a C18-bonded open tubular one, was compared. The former exhibited a 25-60% larger electroosmotic flow (EOF) than that of the latter. High separation efficiency of toluene and naphthalene was obtained on the fiber-packed column, while the separation time decreased about 19%. The glass fiber-packed column showed a promising perspective in CEC applications, due to its high EOF, relative low phase ratio, ease of preparation, and tunable selectivity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
