- Abstract
While there is a growing interest in mindfulness as an intrapersonal trait, only a limited number of studies have investigated interpersonal mindfulness, and no study has examined the interaction between both concepts. This paper aims to evaluate a path model that depicts the role of both intrapersonal and interpersonal mindfulness in facilitating emotion regulation and improving well-being by mitigating the effects of psychological symptoms and enhancing social connectedness and safeness. Additionally, this study aims to compare the results obtained using different measures of intrapersonal and interpersonal mindfulness. Moreover, the study evaluates an alternative path model. A sample of 353 participants completed various measures of intrapersonal and interpersonal mindfulness, emotion dysregulation, psychological symptoms (stress, anxiety, and depression), social connectedness, social safeness, satisfaction with life, and happiness. The findings supported the proposed path model, indicating that emotion regulation mediated the relationship between intrapersonal and interpersonal mindfulness on one side and psychological symptoms and social connectedness and social safeness on the other side. Furthermore, the findings suggested that psychological symptoms and social related measures mediated the associations between emotion regulation and well-being. The same path model was supported when using different sets of mindfulness measures. The alternative path was not supported. This study enhances our understanding of how intrapersonal and interpersonal mindfulness interact together to promote emotion regulation, improve well-being, mitigate psychological symptoms, and foster social relatedness and safeness. The findings highlight the importance of training both intrapersonal and interpersonal mindfulness skills to enhance well-being. Implications and limitations are thoroughly discussed. - Abstract
Determining the minimum genus of a graph is a fundamental optimisation problem in the study of network design and implementation as it gives a measure of non-planarity of graphs. In this paper, we are concerned with determining the smallest value of g such that a given graph G has an embedding on the orientable surface of genus g. In particular, we consider the Cartesian product of graphs since this is a well studied graph operation which is often used for modeling interconnection networks. The s-cube Q i (s) is obtained by taking the repeated Cartesian product of i complete bipartite graphs K s , s . We determine the genus of the Cartesian product of the 2r-cube with the repeated Cartesian product of cycles and of the Cartesian product of the 2r-cube with the repeated Cartesian product of paths. Large-scale thin-walled structures made by directed energy deposition-arc (DED-arc) have various applications in the aerospace industry, while the challenge at the moment is controlling residual stresses and deformations. The deposition path sequence determines the order sequence of heat input and thermal stresses. This study uses experimental methods and finite element analysis to examine the effects of path patterns on DED-arc thin-walled structures. Results indicate that stress distribution in the first few layers was significantly influenced by deposition path pattern. Substrate deformation was also affected by path pattern, and minimum deformation can be achieved by optimizing the sequence of the deposition path. Additionally, initial substrate preheating reduces substrate deformation and mitigates the impact of deposition path on stress distribution. This study provides valuable insights for optimizing deposition path design and preheating strategies to enhance the structural integrity of thin-walled parts produced by DED-arc processes. The purpose of this article is to propose a View Sharing Augmented Reality (AR) interface aimed at improving situation awareness (SA) during military operations. Battlefield Augmented Reality System (BARS), a mobile AR system, supports real-time battlefield situation awareness (SA) for mission execution through collaborative information sharing. Video-based View Sharing AR interface that provides the perspective of team members located remotely can enhance team-level SA. However, instances have been identified where providing the perspective of team members moving in directions different from the user's path can lead to user confusion and have a negative impact on mission execution. In this study, we investigate the influence on SA when presenting the perspective of team members with different path direction through a View Sharing AR interface and to examine the impact of visual AR cues supporting spatial awareness on SA improvement. The study was designed to experience the View Sharing AR interface in a virtual reality (VR) environment using the Unity3D game engine. The experiments involved performing tasks to suppress enemies with three different path direction variances in perspective provision and receiving support from four visual AR cues. SA was measured through SA Global Assessment Technique (SAGAT) and Performance measurement. The research findings indicate that differences in path direction negatively affected SA, with the lowest SA observed when the path difference was 90°. Furthermore, visual AR cues, when providing Tramline cues, demonstrated the highest SA, showing interaction effects with path direction differences. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

UNDIRECTED graphs , *GRAPH labelings , *INTEGERS - Abstract
All the graphs considered in this paper are simple and undirected. Let G = (V (G) , E (G)) be a simple undirected graph. A function f : V (G) → { 0 , 1 , 2 } is called root cube mean cordial labeling if the induced function f ∗ : E (G) → { 0 , 1 , 2 } defined by f ∗ (u v) = ⌊ (f (u)) 3 + (f (v)) 3 2 ⌋ satisfies the condition | v f (i) − v f (j) | ≤ 1 and | e f (i) − e f (j) | ≤ 1 for any i , j ∈ { 0 , 1 , 2 } , where v f (x) and e f (x) denotes the number of vertices and number of edges with label x , respectively, and ⌊ x ⌋ denotes the greatest integer less than or equals to x. The G is called root cube mean cordial if it admits root cube mean cordial labeling. In this paper, we have discussed root cube mean cordial labeling of some graphs. Also, we have provided some graphs which are not root cube mean cordial. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Graph theory is a fundamental area that explores the properties and relationships present within graph structures. This paper explores generalized graph complements by examining edge partitioning, a novel approach that extends the traditional graph complement. In analogy to the vertex partition-based definitions of generalized complements, two distinct types of generalized complements for a graph emerge through edge partitioning: k'-complement and k'(i)- complement of a graph. k'-complement of a graph emerges as a versatile tool with applications across multiple domains, due to its maximum edge configuration linked with a Fibonacci polynomial and its role as a maximal outerplanar graph. The paper systematically examines theorems and fundamental properties governing the structural relationships between the original graph and its generalized complements. The characterizations of cycles and paths are also analysed in this study. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article deals with the specific spatial organization of residential buildings and highlights the advantages of 'floor plans with circular paths'. When renovating the existing floor plans of houses or apartments, different floor plan variants can be designed that enable circular movement. Choosing the best variant is sometimes a difficult process. For this purpose, the so-called QLCM method (quality level of circular movement) was developed, which makes it possible to calculate the quality level of the adapted floor plan variants in terms of circular movement. The method covers the aspects of movement and visibility. Different path types, such as the path from room to room, door to door, door to window, and the path along the outer walls are analyzed. Different types of views such as single, multiple, and wide views are examined. Using the QLCM method, a special quality-level coefficient is calculated for each modified floor plan. The variant with the highest calculated coefficient can be selected for implementation. Based on case studies of converting three typologically different apartments/houses from non-circular to circular floor plans, the benefits in terms of enabling circular movement, increasing visual distance, and the perception of the size of the housing unit are demonstrated. - Abstract
Let G be a simple connected graph with vertex set V(G) and edge set E(G). For Φ ⊆ V (G) , a path that includes all vertices of Φ is referred to an Φ -path of G. Two Φ -paths S 1 and S 2 of G are internally disjoint if V (S 1) ∩ V (S 2) = Φ and E (S 1) ∩ E (S 2) = ∅ . Let π G (Φ) be the maximum number of internally disjoint Φ -paths. For an integer k with k ≥ 2, the k-path-connectivity π k (G) is defined as the minimum π G (Φ) over all k-subsets of V(G). In this paper, we determine 3-path-connectivity of the pancake graphs P n . By analyzing the structural characteristics of P n , we show that π 3 (P n) = 3 (n - 1) - 1 4 where n ≥ 3 . [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract Little is known about how exclusive e-cigarette use affects exosomal microRNA (miRNA) expression, which is crucial in inflammation and disease processes like cancer. We compared exosomal miRNA profiles between exclusive e-cigarette users and non-users. We used plasma samples from 15 exclusive e-cigarette users and 15 non-users from the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) Wave 1 study (2013–2014) and sequenced miRNAs with Illumina NextSeq 500/550. We performed differential analyses using DESeq2 in R/Bioconductor, adjusting for race, and conducted gene enrichment analyses on target genes regulated by significant miRNAs. Further, molecular-based techniques using the miRNA mimics and inhibitors were applied for the validation of the expressions of the miRNAs in vitro. We identified four miRNAs that were upregulated in exclusive e-cigarette users compared to non-users: hsa-miR-100-5p, hsa-miR-125a-5p, hsa-miR-125b-5p, and hsa-miR-99a-5p, after adjusting for the confounding effects of race. However, none of the miRNAs remained statistically significant after controlling for the false discovery rate (FDR) at 5%. Subgroup analysis of White participants only identified four miRNAs (hsa-miR-100-5p, hsa-miR-125b-5p, hsa-miR-200b-3p, and hsa-miR-99a-5p) that were also upregulated in e-cigarette users with one miRNA hsa-miR-200b-3p remaining statistical significance after controlling for the FDR at 5%. GO enrichment analysis showed that these miRNAs are involved in processes like transcription regulation and cellular protein modification. KEGG pathway analysis indicated their involvement in cancer pathways, including small cell lung cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and signaling pathways (neurotrophin, ErbB, PI3K-Akt, FoxO, Hippo, MAPK, TGF-beta). Overexpression of hsa-miR-125b-5p promoted DNA damage in bronchial epithelial cells. These findings suggest an elevation of carcinogenic cellular signaling pathways in exclusive e-cigarette users.

Abstract Rural Revitalization (RR) is a key national strategy in China aimed at sustainable rural development and has gained significant attention. Given the unique characteristics of different villages, understanding differentiated paths to achieve RR is essential. This study introduces a new “5I Framework” (INDUS-INHAB-INDOC-INFRA-INCOM) to assess RR’s overall development status (ODS) and differentiated paths. Then, using western China as a case, this study employs entropy weight, the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS), fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA), and hierarchical clustering to categorize differentiated RR paths into “4L Category” (Lots-Learning-Labor-Living). Context-specific recommendations are provided for each category. “5I” and “4L” are derived from their initial letters for easier recall and global dissemination. Our findings reveal ODS’s temporal fluctuations between Acceptable and Good Grades (0.3 and 0.6), with Chongqing’s villages showing a downward trend (from 0.439 to 0.407); the findings also reveal spatial differences in ODS, as northern villages generally score higher due to distinct characteristics. Seven differentiated paths to RR are identified, highlighting varying dimensions essential for RR success: INFRA is crucial across all high ODS paths, while INHAB and INDOC are not always central. Besides, these paths are grouped into four clusters via hierarchical clustering, indicating that RR can be achieved by integrating “lots” of aspects, enhancing “learning” and cultural status among residents, requiring villagers’ “labor” to support agriculture, or improving the “living” environment. The clustered categories enhance the applicability of our proposed countermeasures in similar contexts. The “5I Framework” facilitates theoretical understanding and evaluation of RR, while the “4L Category” underpinned by the “5I Framework” promotes effective implementation practices—both representing innovations of this study.

The article examines the liminal image of the road in the films of the Yakut new wave as a space in which deep personal transformations of the character take place. The relevance of the study is explained by the fact that the road is an important plot-forming, semantic, and figurative element in the films of the Yakut new wave — a unique phenomenon of national cinematography which has become part of the modern culture of the Sakha people. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that for the first time it examines the road as an important semantic space in the films by M. Lukachevsky (The White Day, SUOL), A. Ambrosiev (Mummuttar / Lost), S. Burnashev (Black Snow), P. Burtsev (Ferrum), and L. Borisova (Don’t Bury Me Without Ivan). Based on the analysis of these films, the author comes to conclusions that can be used in comprehension of the figurative system of the Yakut new wave films and in the study of the semantics of cultural constructs in the screen space. The results obtained may be useful in the Humanities research of ethno-cultural orientation, as well as in projects aimed at preserving ethnic cultural traditions and supporting national creativity.

The present study investigates cross-linguistic differences in the description of motion events using Holistic Spatial Semantics (HSS) as a theoretical framework. In this study, six short video stimuli featuring various motion situations were used to elicit narratives from 35 speakers of French and 29 speakers of Swedish. The proportions of semantic category Path linguistically expressed did not vary significantly between the groups. However, the French narratives had significantly less Manner and Direction expression. Furthermore, they included significantly more unbounded non-translocative events compared to the Swedish narratives. Partly, this was due to the tendency within the Swedish group to construe situations as bounded events that were clearly shown as unbounded in the stimuli. There was also a tendency within the French group to distribute the information about the same situation over two clauses. These findings lend further support to the relevance of distinguishing between the Path and Direction categories, as well as other key features of the HSS framework, such as the distinction between non-verbal motion situations and their linguistic construals.

Currently, the evaluation of the sound quality of a product or a sound path is usually based on objective physical measurements. Despite this, in real a quality of the sound path is evaluated by human hearing. The listener evaluates the sound quality of the product or sound path using his auditory system, and not a set of physical measuring devices. In this situation, psychoacoustics is a scientific field that allows bridging the gap between physical or objective and subjective assessments. In a number of previous psychoacoustic experiments, some relations were established between the physical representation of the result and the audible perceptual sensation correlated with it. Assessing the quality of audio signals is an important consideration in making high quality sound product and sound paths and various methods have been developed. In this article is review interconnection of electrical indicators of sound quality and subjective psychoacoustic criteria assessment. It is proposed to apply the psychoacoustic assessment criteria because not all qualitative indicators can be measured using objective methods.

Objective. To show that despite the enormous efforts of M. Heidegger, he failed to find a new way of thinking. Scientific novelty. It is shown that the meeting of two different streams of historical thinking – the destructive thinking of Heidegger, who never stood on the ground of the Pre-Socratics (although he strived for this all his life), and the Pre-Socratic, which gradually lost its vitality in subsequent European culture, never took place. The different streams of thinking – the ancient Greeks and Heidegger – never crossed. The early Greeks sought to understand the nature of essence, that is, they were looking, according to Heidegger, for the first beginning of thinking (and for this they tried to use the tools of openness of thinking, but did not understand its reasons), while Heidegger, who consistently went through a long path of liberation from all the European ones known to him methods of understanding nature, on the contrary, sought to find ways to understand the true nature of human existence, that is, he looked for the second principle of thinking (but also failed to reveal its origins). It was found that European culture throughout its history has stopped between these two extreme streams of thinking – aimed, on the one hand, at the world of things (essence) and, on the other, at the inner world of man (existence), but in both of these streams there are genuine the beginnings of thinking remained unheard. The analysis shows that throughout his life, Heidegger was looking, in fact, not even for being, but for the being of thinking; more precisely, he was looking for thinking that could exist synchronously with the thought of the ancient Greeks, which allowed him, on the one hand, – to reveal the fall of European culture, and on the other hand, to try to find the motives for future thinking. In our opinion, Heidegger heard the main problem of European culture: logos does not illuminate thinking, does not carry either natural or divine light, it is only similar to a given (often artificial) logical scheme. All ancient religions spoke about this. The ancient Greeks knew this; Plato and Aristotle replaced the true divine light with a system of ideas, concepts, categories and logic. It seems that the concealment of the true light (nature and gods) is the path of the fall of European culture, about which Nietzsche, Wagner and Heidegger wrote. Thinking exists only where consciousness disintegrates in the spatio-temporal topos of its existence. And logos, as this study shows, can only exist in a split consciousness. Based on this, it is increasingly clear that we have not learned to think like the Greeks and, moreover, in our selfishness we may finally lose this opportunity. On my own behalf, I would like to add: what Heidegger failed to achieve can be clarified along the paths of contact between Western and Eastern thought.

An edge-coloring of a graph $ G $ with colors $ 1, \ldots, t $ is an interval $ t $-coloring if all colors are used and the colors of edges incident to each vertex of $ G $ are distinct and form an interval of integers. A graph $ G $ is interval colorable if it has an interval $ t $-coloring for some positive integer $ t $. For an interval colorable graph $ G $, the least and the greatest values of $ t $ for which $ G $ has an interval $ t $-coloring are denoted by $ w(G) $ and $ W(G) $. Let $ G $ be a graph with vertex set $ V(G) = \{u_1, \ldots, u_{m}\} $, $ m\geq2 $, and let $ h_m = (H_i)_{i\in\{1, \ldots, m\}} $ be a sequence of vertex-disjoint with $ V(H_i) = \{x_1^{(i)}, \ldots, x_{n_i}^{(i)}\} $, $ n_i\geq 1 $. The generalized lexicographic products $ G[h_m] $ of $ G $ and $ h_m $ is a simple graph with vertex set $ \cup_{i = 1}^{m}V(H_i) $, in which $ x_p^{(i)} $ is adjacent to $ x_q^{(j)} $ if and only if either $ u_i = u_j $ and $ x_p^{(i)}x_q^{(i)}\in E(H_i) $ or $ u_iu_j\in E(G) $. In this paper, we obtain several sufficient conditions for the generalized lexicographic product $ G[h_m] $ to have interval colorings. We also present some sharp bounds on $ w(G[h_m]) $ and $ W(G[h_m]) $ of $ G[h_m] $.

Identifying interventions that are optimally tailored to each individual is of significant interest in various fields, in particular precision medicine. Dynamic treatment regimes (DTRs) employ sequences of decision rules that utilize individual patient information to recommend treatments. However, the assumption that an individual's treatment does not impact the outcomes of others, known as the no interference assumption, is often challenged in practical settings. For example, in infectious disease studies, the vaccine status of individuals in close proximity can influence the likelihood of infection. Imposing this assumption when it, in fact, does not hold, may lead to biased results and impact the validity of the resulting DTR optimization. We extend the estimation method of dynamic weighted ordinary least squares (dWOLS), a doubly robust and easily implemented approach for estimating optimal DTRs, to incorporate the presence of interference within dyads (i.e., pairs of individuals). We formalize an appropriate outcome model and describe the estimation of an optimal decision rule in the dyadic‐network context. Through comprehensive simulations and analysis of the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) data, we demonstrate the improved performance of the proposed joint optimization strategy compared to the current state‐of‐the‐art conditional optimization methods in estimating the optimal treatment assignments when within‐dyad interference exists. Rural Revitalization (RR) is a key national strategy in China aimed at sustainable rural development and has gained significant attention. Given the unique characteristics of different villages, understanding differentiated paths to achieve RR is essential. This study introduces a new "5I Framework" (INDUS-INHAB-INDOC-INFRA-INCOM) to assess RR's overall development status (ODS) and differentiated paths. Then, using western China as a case, this study employs entropy weight, the technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (TOPSIS), fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA), and hierarchical clustering to categorize differentiated RR paths into "4L Category" (Lots-Learning-Labor-Living). Context-specific recommendations are provided for each category. "5I" and "4L" are derived from their initial letters for easier recall and global dissemination. Our findings reveal ODS's temporal fluctuations between Acceptable and Good Grades (0.3 and 0.6), with Chongqing's villages showing a downward trend (from 0.439 to 0.407); the findings also reveal spatial differences in ODS, as northern villages generally score higher due to distinct characteristics. Seven differentiated paths to RR are identified, highlighting varying dimensions essential for RR success: INFRA is crucial across all high ODS paths, while INHAB and INDOC are not always central. Besides, these paths are grouped into four clusters via hierarchical clustering, indicating that RR can be achieved by integrating "lots" of aspects, enhancing "learning" and cultural status among residents, requiring villagers' "labor" to support agriculture, or improving the "living" environment. The clustered categories enhance the applicability of our proposed countermeasures in similar contexts. The "5I Framework" facilitates theoretical understanding and evaluation of RR, while the "4L Category" underpinned by the "5I Framework" promotes effective implementation practices—both representing innovations of this study. - Abstract
Without agricultural and rural modernization, socialist modernization is incomplete. Building a model for agricultural and rural modernization can better empower the high-quality development of agriculture and rural areas in Suzhou, and explore the way for the modernization of agriculture and rural areas in Jiangsu and the whole country. In recent years, Suzhou has fully launched the exploration and practice of agricultural and rural modernization, completed the three-year action goal of taking the lead in achieving agricultural and rural modernization as scheduled, and taken solid steps in promoting rural revitalization. Suzhou has the opportunity, material conditions, and humanistic foundation to take the lead in the development of agriculture and rural areas and create a model. Suzhou should combine its own resource endowment and development advantages to further strengthen the advantages of urban agricultural industry, paint the beautiful scenery of Jiangnan water town, present the background of the goal of enriching the people and common prosperity, explore a full and surging dynamic mechanism, and create a model of agricultural and rural modernization with higher standards and a more comprehensive picture that can highlight the distinctive characteristics of Chinese path to modernization. - Abstract
For two graphs G and H, the Gallai–Ramsey number gr k (G : H) is defined as the minimum integer n such that any k-edge-coloring of K n must contain either a rainbow copy of G or a monochromatic copy of H. In this paper, we obtain the exact values of gr k (G : H) , where H is a path and G ∈ { K 1 , 3 , P 4 + , P 5 } is a small tree and P 4 + is the graph consisting of P 4 with one extra edge incident with an inner vertex. Using the monophonic paths in the theory of directed graphs, this paper constructs a new topology called the out mondirected topology, which characterizes the graphs that induce indiscrete or discrete topology. We give and study some of the relations and properties, such as the relationship between the isomorphic relation, in directed graphs and the homeomorphic property in out mondirected topological spaces, compactness, D ± -connectedness, connectedness and D ± -discrete properties. Finally, we apply our results of out mondirected topological spaces in the nervous system of the human body, such as in the messenger signal network, in diagrams of sensory neuron cells and in models of two distinct nicotinic receptor types based on the second messenger signal. - Abstract
We consider the posets of equivalence relations on finite sets under the standard embedding ordering and under the consecutive embedding ordering. In the latter case, the relations are also assumed to have an underlying linear order, which governs consecutive embeddings. For each poset we ask the well quasi-order and atomicity decidability questions: Given finitely many equivalence relations ρ 1 , ⋯ , ρ k , is the downward closed set Av (ρ 1 , ⋯ , ρ k) consisting of all equivalence relations which do not contain any of ρ 1 , ⋯ , ρ k : (a) well-quasi-ordered, meaning that it contains no infinite antichains? and (b) atomic, meaning that it is not a union of two proper downward closed subsets, or, equivalently, that it satisfies the joint embedding property? COGNITIVE development ,EDUCATIONAL standards ,LEARNING ability ,ARTIFICIAL intelligence ,CULTURAL awareness - Abstract
In today's society, with the rapid development of artificial intelligence, fostering students' critical thinking is especially important for nurturing their innovative capabilities. The "National English Curriculum Standards for General High School (2017 edition, revised in 2020)" outlines that the core competencies in English education encompass four dimensions: linguistic competence, cultural awareness, quality of thinking, and learning ability. Among these, the quality of thinking is primarily reflected in the logic, criticality, and creativity of thought. Critical thinking not only enhances students' language skills but also plays a crucial role in mental growth and the cultivation of independent thinking. It encourages students to go beyond the surface meaning of texts, delving into the analysis of the structure, argumentation, author's intent, and implicit meanings of articles. Whether for further education, employment, or personal development, critical thinking is an indispensable skill. This paper emphasizes the importance of cultivating critical thinking within the context of adolescent life themes, providing a new perspective for high school English teaching practices. It holds significant importance for promoting the comprehensive development of students' competencies in a globalized context. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

FRENCH language ,SEMANTICS ,NARRATIVES ,VIDEOS - Abstract
The crossing number cr (G) of a graph G is the minimum number of edge crossings over all drawings of G in the plane. The main aim of this paper is to give the crossing numbers of the join products G * + P n and G * + C n for the connected graph G * obtained by removing one edge (incident with the dominating vertex) from the wheel W 5 on six vertices, and where P n and C n are paths and cycles on n vertices, respectively. Finally, we also introduce four new conjectures concerning crossing numbers of the join products of P n and C n with W m ∖ e obtained by removing one edge (of both possible types) from the wheel W m on m + 1 vertices. Let G=(V,E) be a graph. In the D3, the order of any element x in D3 is denoted by O(x).We define a function χ:V(G)→D3 such that for each edge xy we assign the label 0 if o(u)/o(v) or o(v)/o(u) assign the label 1 if o(u) not divides o(v). Let us define the new function µα(χ) which represent number of edges of G having label α under the mapping χ. Now χ is called D3 divisor cordial labeling if |µ1(χ) − µ0(χ)|≤1 and |Vχ(a)– Vχ(b)|≤1 where Vχ(a) represents number of vertices having label a under χ .The graph which satisfies above condition is calledD3divisor cordial labeling graph. Here we discuss the Dihedral group divisor Cordial Labeling of Path, Cycle, star graph, jelly fish graph and wheel graphs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the context of green development in the new era, promoting industrial green transformation is an important measure to adjust economic structure. As a key cultivation industry in Jiangsu, the flooring industry is actively promoting green transformation. This article took green development as the perspective and used the DEA-SBM model of unexpected output to calculate the efficiency of green transformation in Jiangsu's flooring industry. The results showed that the overall efficiency of green transformation in Jiangsu's flooring industry was relatively high, but there was a gap between southern, central, and northern Jiangsu. The green transformation efficiency in southern Jiangsu was generally higher than that in central and northern Jiangsu, and also higher than the average level of the province. From 2018 to 2021, the green transformation efficiency of flooring in southern, central, and northern Jiangsu showed a fluctuating upward trend. In 2022, the green transformation efficiency of the flooring industry in northern Jiangsu surpassed that southern and central Jiangsu, and its green transformation speed was accelerated. Based on the above conclusions, this article proposed a development path for the green transformation of Jiangsu's flooring industry. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

REGULAR graphs ,INTEGERS ,COLORING matter ,GRAPH coloring - Abstract
An edge-coloring of a graph G with colors 1 , ... , t is an interval t -coloring if all colors are used and the colors of edges incident to each vertex of G are distinct and form an interval of integers. A graph G is interval colorable if it has an interval t -coloring for some positive integer t. For an interval colorable graph G , the least and the greatest values of t for which G has an interval t -coloring are denoted by w (G) and W (G). Let G be a graph with vertex set V (G) = { u 1 , ... , u m } , m ≥ 2 , and let h m = (H i) i ∈ { 1 , ... , m } be a sequence of vertex-disjoint with V (H i) = { x 1 (i) , ... , x n i (i) } , n i ≥ 1. The generalized lexicographic products G [ h m ] of G and h m is a simple graph with vertex set ∪ i = 1 m V (H i) , in which x p (i) is adjacent to x q (j) if and only if either u i = u j and x p (i) x q (i) ∈ E (H i) or u i u j ∈ E (G). In this paper, we obtain several sufficient conditions for the generalized lexicographic product G [ h m ] to have interval colorings. We also present some sharp bounds on w (G [ h m ]) and W (G [ h m ]) of G [ h m ]. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This article aims at contributing to the theoretical tools and metalanguage used for comparing how motion, and, specifically, the enterprise of moving from one place (Loc1) to another (Loc2), is expressed across different languages. The point of departure is the well-established typological distinction between manner (or satellite-framed) languages and path (or verb-framed) languages. Several researchers have emphasised the need for (a) a more consistent theoretical basis for distinguishing between linguistic expressions lexicalising motion in a broad sense from such that incorporate the semantics of going somewhere, i.e. from Loc1 to Loc2; and (b) a further specification and differentiation of the intuitively attractive but vaguely defined variables of manner and path. The suggested approach addresses these issues in combination by incorporating key insights gained on pre-linguistic visual cognition. That includes a distinction between perceptual and conceptual motion with implications also for how the corresponding universals may be differently conveyed in different languages. The primary aim is not to present any novel empirical observations or principles of categorisation of typological trends within and across particular languages. Instead, the article brings to fore certain insights on pre-linguistic motion detection which offer new perspectives also on how the outcome can be encoded linguistically. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The traditional Talmian binary typology of satellite-framed vs. verb-framed languages has proven to be insufficient for showing the diversity across the world's languages. One approach within post-Talmian motion typology follows Holistic Spatial Semantics, which has been applied to languages like Swedish, French, Thai and Telugu, but not to Slavic languages. This motivates the present research. We used "frog stories" and analysed translocative motion event descriptions, given by nine native speakers of Russian and seven of Bulgarian, all adults. The descriptions were first segmented into clauses and each clause was analysed with respect to the key categories of Path, Direction, Region and Manner. The results show that the two languages pattern differently, most significantly in the expression of Path and Manner. We conclude that Russian shares features of languages like Telugu by encoding Path by case markers, and features of languages as Swedish, through a predominance of Manner verbs. Bulgarian differs typologically from Russian by lacking cases and using motion verbs, either to express Path, similarly to French, or to express Manner, similarly to Swedish. These findings show that Slavic languages should not be simplistically placed within a single type and provide additional support for Holistic Spatial Semantics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The crossing number cr(H) of a graph H is the minimum number of edge crossings over all drawings of H in the plane. Let H∗ be the connected graph of order five isomorphic to K5 ∖ e obtained by removing one edge from the complete graph K5. The main aim of the paper is to give the crossing numbers of the join products H∗ + Pn and H∗ + Cn, where Pn and Cn are the path and the cycle on n vertices, respectively. The proofs are done with the help of a suitable classification of a large number of drawings of the graph H∗ in view of the existence of a separating cycle of two possible types.
