Tese (doutorado) — Universidade de Brasília, Instituto de Letras, Departamento de Linguística, Português e Línguas Clássicas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguística, 2022. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Esta pesquisa, de perspectiva qualitativa (descritiva e interpretativa), visa analisar o mosaico de elementos que compõem a Prática Social das Olimpíadas de Linguística (OL). Baseada nos fundamentos teóricos-metodológicos da Análise de Discurso Crítica, especialmente de Fairclough (1992; 2003) e Chouliaraki e Fairclough (1999), esta Tese evidencia como as OL são herdeiras da própria disciplina Linguística, apesar de adotarem características particulares. Começando a investigação pela historiografia, busca-se justificar a influência geopolítica na criação das OL e na institucionalização delas em diversos países, como eventos integradores entre a ciência da linguagem, a matemática, a computação e a educação. Passando à Prática Discursiva dos regulamentos, sítios eletrônicos e relatos dos Organizadores Nacionais de OL, são evidenciadas as Representações Sociais sobre o que caracteriza essa competição intelectual, sobre as principais dificuldades e sobre os impactos desejados para os estudantes, ainda que estejam inseridos em distintos contextos econômicos e culturais. No mesmo sentido, o trabalho aborda como as OL se alinham ao movimento que tem buscado alterar a conjuntura escolar para pensar linguisticamente em diferentes localidades (DERHAM & LOBECK, 2010a). O mosaico das peças da Prática Social das OL engloba ainda a Representação Social do público não-especializado sobre a Linguística, a qual está em plena transformação devido ao recente movimento de popularização científica, sobretudo no Brasil. Por fim, esta análise focaliza a Prática Textual do principal gênero das OL, o Problema Linguístico Autossuficiente, mostrando suas características de composição e o raciocínio que desenvolve (DERZHANSKI & PAYNE, 2010), como herança da Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas. É por meio da integração entre as Práticas Social, Discursiva e Textual das OL que os Problemas Sociais são interpretados, com vistas a possíveis mudanças. Semelhante a um caleidoscópio, a reunião de diferentes formatos, cores e texturas nos fornece um quadro geral belo e instável, sujeito a alterações, mas que sempre formam um todo coerente e harmônico. This research, from a qualitative perspective (descriptive and interpretive), aims to analyze the mosaic of elements that make up the Social Practice of the Linguistics Olympiad (LO). Based on the theoretical-methodological foundations of Critical Discourse Analysis, especially by Fairclough (1992; 2003) and Chouliaraki and Fairclough (1999), this Thesis shows how LO are heirs of the Linguistics discipline itself, despite adopting particular characteristics. Starting the investigation with historiography, it seeks to justify the geopolitical influence in the creation of LO and in their institutionalization in several countries, as integrative events between language science, mathematics, computing and education. Moving on to the Discursive Practice of the regulations, websites and reports of the National LO Organizers, this Thesis approaches the Social Representations about the features of the intellectual competition, about the main difficulties and the desired impacts for students, even if they are inserted in different contexts economic and cultural. In the same sense, the work addresses how LO is aligned with the movement that has aimed to change the school environment to think linguistically in different locations (DERHAM & LOBECK, 2010a). The mosaic of the LO Social Practice pieces also includes the Social Representation of the non-specialized public on Linguistics, which is undergoing full transformation due to the recent movement of scientific popularization, especially in Brazil. Finally, this analysis focuses on the Textual Practice of the main genre of LO, the Self-Sufficient Linguistic Problem, showing its compositional characteristics and the reasoning it develops (DERZHANSKI & PAYNE, 2010), as a legacy of ProblemBased Learning. It is through the integration between Social, Discursive and Textual Practices of LO that Social Problems are interpreted, with a view to possible changes. Similar to a kaleidoscope, the meeting of different shapes, colors and textures provides us with a beautiful and unstable general picture, subject to change, but which always form a coherent and harmonious whole.

PDF El presente trabajo de investigación estudia las diferentes dificultades y problemas que presenta el niño-niña en la forma de hablar y expresarse con los demás, los factores que influyen desde temprana edad para que este problema no tenga repercusiones a futuro. Este problema es limitado ya que la evaluación del mismo se lo está realizando en tiempo real en la ciudad de Babahoyo, ya que actualmente mejorar la parte lingüística en los niños-niñas se ha vuelto una necesidad para evitar que tengan inconvenientes en el proceso de aprendizaje. El capítulo I nos enfatiza por qué surge el problema ya que el objetivo general de este proyecto se sitúa en analizar la incidencia de las estrategias metodológicas que utilizan los educandos cotidianamente y diseñar una guía interactiva dirigida principalmente a los docentes ya que también juegan un papel importante dentro de la vida de los niños-niñas. En el capítulo II la metodología desarrollada en el presente proyecto tienen como finalidad proporcionar información que ayude a una orientación adecuada y la comprensión en lo referente a la mejora de la expresión lingüística, la fundamentación teórica facilita la información brindando de forma clara y precisa las diferentes razones del porque surge esta problemática y sus consideraciones en el ámbito educativo, el papel que juega este tipo de conocimiento al momento de impartir una clase y sus posibles soluciones. El capítulo III contiene información específica del presente estudio ya que muestra las variables de la investigación enfatizando a quienes fue dirigida la encuesta, los aspectos más relevantes. En el capítulo IV observamos los resultados de las encuestas y la hipótesis planteada para esta investigación, las recomendaciones y conclusiones a aplicar para obtener resultados positivos en cuanto a esta propuesta. El capítulo V presenta la propuesta; la misma que está otorgando respuesta a varias inquietudes a maestras, padres de familia de como contribuir a la mejora del desarrollo lingüístico en niños-niñas, se ha logrado un fuerte avance con este estudio lo que nos lleva a la reflexión y continua seguimiento de diferentes características planteadas a lo largo del estudio evitando situaciones similares a las que ya hemos planteado, sabemos que estas dificultades no comprenden únicamente la parte educativa si no también la vida personal del niño lo que conforma un vínculo en ambos aspectos para lograr una mejora eficaz. This research studies the various difficulties and problems of the boy-girl on the way to speak and express to others, the factors influencing early age so that this problem should not affect the future. This problem is limited because the assessment thereof is what is done in real time in the city of Babahoyo, since currently improving the linguistic part in children-girls has become a necessity to avoid having problems in the learning process . Chapter I emphasize us why the problem arises because the overall objective of this project is located in analyzing the impact of methodological strategies used by students daily and designing an interactive guide aimed primarily at teachers as they also play an important role in the lives of children-girls. In Chapter II the methodology developed in this project are intended to provide information to assist in proper guidance and understanding regarding the improvement of linguistic expression, the theoretical foundation facilitates providing information clearly and accurately the different reasons why these issues and considerations in education arises, the role of this type of knowledge when teaching a class and possible solutions. Chapter III contains information specific to this study because it shows the variables of the research emphasis was directed to the survey, the most relevant aspects. Chapter IV shows the results of the surveys and the hypothesis for this research, the recommendations and conclusions apply to obtain positive results regarding this proposal. Chapter V presents the proposal; this giving the same answer several concerns with teachers, parents on how to help improve language development in childrengirls, there has been strong progress with this study which leads to reflection and continuous monitoring of different features raised throughout the study avoiding similar situations that have been raised, we know that these difficulties are more than just the educational part but also the personal life of the child which forms a link in both aspects for effective improvement.

Relatório de Estágio apresentado para cumprimento dos requisitos necessários à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Consultoria e Revisão Linguística O presente relatório assenta num trabalho de revisão de texto num contexto editorial e trata de problemas linguísticos verificados no âmbito dessa tarefa. Descreve os problemas encontrados durante o processo de revisão e as opções que foram tomadas com base nos instrumentos de normalização. Efetua-se a análise crítica da informação contida nos instrumentos, visando os casos em estudo, e considera-se a sua pertinência para o trabalho de revisão, apontando algumas insuficiências e limitações. Conclui-se com uma reflexão sobre a norma e a atividade de revisão
