This study investigated the highly influencing challenges which cause reluctance of Muslim women to pursue postgraduate education and their low level of interest in following postgraduate degrees. The study employed a quantitative method, and the data were collected through a questionnaire survey administered to about 200 participants out of the total Muslim female graduates of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka who graduated from 2015 to 2019. The obtained data were subjected to analysis through the Numerical Outcome Prediction method with the help of SPSS software. The analysed data were interpreted to ascertain how each of the factors influenced the lack of Muslim women in postgraduate studies. Findings of the study show that while the husband’s refusal to allow was the most influential challenge in Muslim women’s reluctance to pursue postgraduate studies, ignorance about postgraduate studies, lack of some exclusive privileges for women to study, and the inability of women to engage in learning while shouldering family responsibilities, were also deduced as influential challenges. Furthermore, this study on Muslim women in Sri Lanka is significant as it can be a starting point for further research on this topic. Moreover, the findings of this study would be beneficial for policymakers and politicians to enhance future postgraduate education for Muslim women in Sri Lanka. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

undocumented ,pursuing ,higher education - Abstract
In the United States, education is considered a key to success in life. However, not every resident of the U.S has the opportunity to access higher education. Undocumented immigrants seek better lives, or what is commonly called the “American Dream,” but their opportunities to achieve it through education are reduced because they were not born in the U.S. In fact, most undocumented immigrants were brought into the U.S. at young ages by their guardians, not because they decided to migrate to a different country. For these young undocumented people, the United States is the only home they know.

Crime of Stalking and Protection of its Victims This diploma thesis focuses on the issue of stalking, or more precisely on its individual aspects and its legislation in the Czech Republic. As for the structure of this thesis, it is divided into five main sections. The first section deals with stalking in general. The individual chapters are devoted to the definition of this term, the historical development of this phenomenon and common forms of stalking, including two specific types of stalking, which are cyberstalking and stalking in the workplace. The second section deals with the characteristics of stalkers and their motives. The third section concerns the victims of stalking. The individual chapters successively analyse the typologies of victims, the impact of stalking on victims, including post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as the main strategies oriented towards helping the victims of stalking and, finally, the issue of false victims. The third section and the fourth one are the most comprehensive of all and together they constitute the core of the thesis. The fourth section focuses on anti-stalking legislation of the Czech Republic, whereas the most comprehensive chapter is devoted to the crime of stalking. This chapter is concluded with the issue of punishment for this crime and also...

The author's article pays attention to the problem of stalking in modern society, the concept and features of this phenomenon. In accordance with the analysis of current legislation, the question of criminalizing stalking is raised. The main directions of an integrated approach to stalking prevention as one of the types of gender-based violence are identified. An important objective towards the formation of a society that is devoid of gender stereotypes is the development and improvement of laws regarding gender component. An extremely necessary issue is the prevention of gender-based violence, which has recently become developed in a new field and needs both the international community and the leadership of individual countries. First of all, the prevention of violence is an activity aimed of protecting and preserving life, ensuring respect for each other, equal communication and respect for the other person's difference, respect for the choice of another person. The issue of responsibility for stalking, including the use of electronic means of communication, is extremely used today. The state of development of electronic communications is relevant so they are used not only for good but also for illegal purposes. In this regard, the legislator needs the attention of the criminalization of stalking. Criminalization of prosecution will provide a comprehensive impact on the phenomenon under study, as well as implement not only punitive but also the preventive function of criminal law. In this aspect, the issue of educational psychological study with people is relevant, because it is based on real or imagined interpersonal conflict, which generates the behavior of persecution, harassment, intimidation and more. Only integrating the capabilities of different institutions, both punitive and educational, by using the capabilities of media companies, NGOs, hotlines for counselling and emergency care, the establishment of criminal liability can be an effective tool to prevent stalking.

- Abstract
We discuss calls, and apparent support, for ethical resources to support social marketing practitioners, in the light of research findings from a study of actual ethical dilemmas encountered by social marketing practitioners and resources used to resolve them. We highlight nine key ethical challenges facing social marketers, and highlight the prominence of social marketers' concerns about funders' influence on social marketing activity. The low use of existing general resources indicates the need for social marketing- focussed resources, the need to ensure that any resources developed offer practical decision-making support rather than broad general principles, and the need to advocate for an environment in which social marketers can do good-quality work.

- Abstract
This paper aims to build on existing knowledge of divorce experiences and further develop theoretical understandings of those experiences. With a dominant discourse of divorce in the existing family literature emphasising the negative consequences of divorce for the individuals involved and for wider society, this research sets out to understand the relatively overlooked constructive aspects of this social phenomenon. From deciding to dissolve their marriage to accounting for their decision to seeking recognition from significant others to rebuilding their post-divorce lives, my research explores how divorced individuals might pursue a sense of achievement and fulfillment. Certainly, it is not all straightforward. Extending theorisations on individualisation to better understand the subjective experience of divorce within the framework of what I call, a divorce biography, my study shows that divorce can be enabling despite the challenging outcomes the life-changing event brings. By making use of empirical data collected through interviews with 20 Singaporean divorcees, I explore how divorced respondents construct their personal narratives around the themes of authenticity, affirmation and self-fulfilment within the social context they are located.

- Abstract
This paper illustrates some of the dynamic ways that members of the Korean, Australian, New Zealand and Chinese creative and cultural industries have engaged with international instruments such as co-production treaties. Strategies, benefits returned and lost costs, that is, sacrifices that are made in the process of producing a film or digital media program in more than one country, and/or with an international team are investigated to reveal how creators are engaging with the demands of different governments' policies. It is hoped that this paper and the larger research project to which it is attached will assist scholars, creative and cultural industry practitioners and policymakers to understand the dynamics of international linkages and transnational cultural production flows – with a view toward enhancing the field of Korean Studies and Korea's future role in the power dynamics of cultural industries across the globe.

- Abstract
In archaeological research on the Paleolithic period, it has been argued that certain developments in hominid biological and cultural evolution involved key changes in the organizational and technological strategies for exploiting seasonal resources. Among the archaeological methods suggested to address the shifts in seasonal activity patterns in the context of Pleistocene cultural and biological evolution, cementum increment analysis stands out. Initially, the analysis of microscopic seasonal growth increments in the cementum tissue of archaeologically common mammal teeth appeared to offer the recovery of valuable season-of-death and age-at-death data from Paleolithic sites. With the perspective of nearly 35 years of experience and hindsight since cementum increment analysis was first suggested as an archaeological technique (Saxon and Higham 1968) and over 20 years since the method was introduced to the study of seasonality in Paleolithic contexts (Spiess 1979), this dissertation presents a critical reassessment of cementum as an archaeological source of seasonality and mortality information. The following assertion is thoroughly examined: the commonly employed cementum increment methods are adequate to recover true season-of-death distributions from Paleolithic deposits. It is argued that previous studies of microscopic increments in archaeological teeth have not fully addressed three key issues that fundamentally bear on whether cementum increment analysis can meet its methodological promise---that is, to yield reliable information about the seasonal activity patterns of hunter-gatherers in the Paleolithic. First, the correlation between time of the year and the state of incremental cementum growth varies between animal populations and over time---from year to year---within the same population. Second, researchers have entirely ignored the potential for common biogeochemical processes to create false seasonal bands in archaeological cementum. Third, workers have not considered the potential for the sample preparation and microscopy techniques themselves to create the appearance of seasonal bands in cementum. Basically, in the analysis of a given set of archaeological tooth assemblages, we may need to develop further the means to measure the accuracy of the equation, Cementum equals Season-of-Death. The chapters that follow are presented in order to offer a guide to the key methodological facets for understanding this equation, so that Paleolithic researchers can better judge how cementum increment analysis might be employed in advancing our knowledge of seasonal activity patterns in the course of human biological and cultural evolution in the Pleistocene.
