The purpose of study was a comparative study of the epistemological foundations of the “Fundamental Reform Document of Iran Education System” and the epistemological foundations of the rhizomatic approach. The research method was comparatively qualitative and research population includes all related resources such as books and journals. Method of data collection and analysis were documentary and content analysis respectively. Findings reveal similarities between two epistemological foundations in different aspect of cognition such as goals (dynamics of science), domain (rationalities), method (acquired science), source (experience) and tool (senses and desire). The main differences between the epistemological foundations of the Fundamental Reform Document of Iran Education System and rhizomatic approach are in goals of cognition (Human-centered, reasoning and becoming), domain of cognition (effects), nature of cognition (existential / non–organic oriented), method of cognition (presence science/ confronted-oriented science), source of cognition (revelation, intellect, communication) and tool of cognition (inspiration , intuition, heavenly book / network). It is suggested that in the process of revising “Fundamental Reform Document of Iran Education System”, the epistemological foundations of the rhizomatic approach should be considered by Iranian educational policy makers

To optimise water as a "vehicle" for development, strategies are necessary that are appropriate in a situated African setting. On the one hand, many African scholars advocate public governance that is rooted in African philosophy and culture. This type of governance is viewed as potentially capable of employing indigenous knowledge systems that are familiar to African people and local communities. On the other hand, some scholars posit that Africanisation should not be a total rejection of certain progressive western concepts. This article, in turn, attempts to demonstrate the importance of community-based water resource governance as a resource for Africanisation and the basis for community development, while acknowledging the challenges to the realisation of this goal. Using rhizomatic discourse analysis, the article connects seemingly diverse arguments to suggest the efficacy of Africanising water resource governance. Citing several examples from the African continent, the article argues for using locally available indigenous and scientific methods of water use and distribution. The article provides a rationale for using storytelling to shape the narratives and actions that enable communities to solve their water conflicts or challenges. The article concludes that while localising water governance and peacebuilding is key, due to technological advances it is practical to merge some western methods of water governance with locally based initiatives. Introduction. The current transformation of economic relations in the society caused by coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic poses a threat to national security of all countries. However, the regulations of the Russian Federation on national security do not provide for such threats and measures to eliminate them, and the economic system has no reserves to provide social support to the bulk of the countryʼs population. The objective of the article is, based on the results of the study, to identify measures to create an effective national security system based on the rhizomatic logic, which allows the economic system to develop in the circumstances of constant bifurcations when a constant choice of the most effective attractor is required. Materials and Methods. Regulatory documents and publications by Russian and foreign scientists were used as the research materials. The study employed general scientific methods of empirical research, as well as general logical methods and research techniques: analysis of regulatory documents and trends in national security indicators, generalization, induction and deduction, the systematic approach, which made it possible to propose the use of the rhizomatic logic for the formation of an integrated national security system and draw conclusions. Results. The Strategy for Ensuring the National Security of the Russian Federation has been studied, as well as the parameters of the state of national security; it has been concluded that it is necessary to refine the regulatory framework. The study of the parameters of economic security as the basis of national security has shown that not all the approved indicators are calculated at the national level. These trends are dangerous for economic and national security due to objective reasons; therefore the national security system is not effective. Discussion and Conclusion. The formation of an effective system of national security of a new type should take place in terms of the rhizomatic logic, which makes it possible to see higher-order systems from the perspective of an observer. This is how effective re-combination of security factors and rapid restructuring of economic relations becomes possible. The article may be useful for researchers dealing with national security issues.

This Research studies the philosophical foundations and logical basis of the classification systems and structure of human knowledge and studies the logical basis of library classifications Scheme. Challenges and problems of traditional ideas about knowledge organization and its hierarchical structure have been studied and rhizomatic thought has been proposed as an alternative model for the tree and hierarchical structure especially for the organization of digital and hypertext information on the web. In Western thought, the tree structure based on Aristotelian logic has been the dominant model of classification and due to its problems, the rhizomatic structure is suggested. Information structure in digital space such as the rhizomes, moves in many directions and create a multiplicity of connections and relations, the growth and emergence of interdisciplinary studies can be seen as evidence. Traditional, tree-based and hierarchical discourse of information organization, isnchr('39')t enabled to understand the nature and characteristics of the digital information space and so to organize it. Necessarily to a paradigm shift, rhizomatic thinking can be a good alternative to traditional information organizing thinking.

Embedding academic literacies in higher education courses has been a major focus of the work of learning advisers. A number of studies present the results of embedding in specific courses without discussing the processes of negotiation or the different people involved. This paper is about embedding academic literacies in the Business faculty as part of an English language proficiency model at an Australian university. After initial slow progress, a team of learning advisers began to evaluate the process by reflecting on practice. This reflection focused on the space between the top-down process as planned and what actually happened in the complex academic environment. There were tensions between the proposed plan and the expectations and understandings of the disciplinary academics. These were used as a starting point to explore the issues in more detail. This paper argues that the task of embedding academic literacies bears all the hallmarks of a ‘wicked problem’ which eludes a linear formulation and is open to multiple framings. The botanical metaphor of the rhizome from the philosophy of Deleuze and Guattari and an adaptive leadership approach offer ways of responding to this problem. This paper reinterprets the team’s experiences using these theories and suggests alternative work practices. By moving away from the concept of a model, more opportunities to bring about attitudinal and curriculum change can be created to make academic literacies explicit for students. The objective of the article consists in the development of an economic security management system of an enterprise within the context of its innovative activities. The study allowed solving the following tasks: more specific definitions of the terms «economic security of an enterprise» and «mechanism of economic security system management of an enterprise» were developed, the functional of the categorial meaning of economic security of anenterprise (ESE) as well as an algorithm for implementing the ESE system management mechanism were developed, rationale was provided for construction of an ESE system based on the rhizomatic approach with a view to taking into account the effect on the innovative activities management system, and this foundation was used to improve the definition and structure of the business framework of an enterprise, the necessity for ensuring the ability of the system to develop and self-organize was substantiated as it is a crucial component of achieving the desired level of economic security in the process of innovative activities pursued by an enterprise. The author formulated the principles of construction of an economic security system within the rhizomatic approach taking into account specific aspects of implementing the proactive strategy of an enterprise, which enabled developing an algorithm for its functioning mechanism within the context of innovative activities. The developed approach to organization of operational safety and interdependence of subject-oriented management systems functioning allows optimizing the work of all subsystems of the overall enterprise management system based on the efficient operation of the ESE management mechanism.
