В КВ-диапазоне на работу различных радиотехнических систем негативное влияние оказывают сосредоточенные и флуктуационные помехи, фильтрация которых необходима при организации оптимального приёма. Повышение эффективности работы систем требует развития алгоритмов автоматического обнаружения сигнала. Обычно фильтрация помех при приёме осуществляется после демодуляции. Однако преддемодуляционная фильтрация имеет свои преимущества, особенно в случае применения сигналов с расширенным спектром. В этой связи в работе представлены новые алгоритмы фильтрации помех, способствующие увеличению энергетического выигрыша при приёме широкополосных сигналов. Представлены результаты проведённых натурных экспериментов по верификации данных алгоритмов при зондировании трассы о. Кипр г. Йошкар-Ола., Introduction. Currently, image processing for getting additional information on the object in question is topical for research. In particular, there is a problem of extracting information on parameters of multiple ionospheric HF radio channels from ionograms, obtained by ionosphere sounding. The problem is that the images are corrupted with noise, because a sounder receiver encounters interference signals of different physical origin. It shall be noted that quite a lot of research into the ionograms processing were carried out. In our studies we proposed to apply methods of computer filtration of images. The aim of the research was the development and study of the algorithms of interferences filtration at the wideband signals reception in systems of diagnosing ionospheric HF communication links with the use of SDR technology. Findings. Paper presents the scientific justification of the algorithm of adaptive whitening of noise in HF band at the LFMCW signal reception. Software implementation of the developed complex algorithm of ionogram image processing is presented. Full-scale experiments were carried with the use of the developed facility with the LFMCW signal based on the software-defined radio technology. In further research, it is planned to perform experiments on studying the efficiency of whitening in the case of high levels of the LFMCW signal., №1(45) (2020)

Представлены результаты разработки и испытания системы мониторинга ионосферы с использованием ФКМсигнала на универсальной SDRплатформе USRP. Рассмотрены этапы формирования и обработки ФКМсигнала для вертикального зондирования ионосферы с использованием полностью цифровой обработки за счёт использования принципа АЦП к антенне. Испытания устройства в ходе натурных экспериментов по вертикальному зондированию ионосферы в г. ЙошкарОле показали, что разработанные алгоритмы дают возможность измерять характеристики канала распространения сигналов КВдиапазона, используя при этом маломощные сигналы (менее 20 Вт)., Introduction. Ionosondes are the main tools for space weather research. This is important for space services and solving the problems of ensuring reliable ground communications using reflection of communication signals from the ionosphere. They continue to rely on HF systems of both longdistance strategic links and shorthaul tactical communications. The last one can ensure communicationы in regions with challenging relief (in the mountains). However, reliable HF communication requires to perform a control of the state of the ionosphere, which changes the conditions for propagation of communication signals. According to development level of the stateoftheart ionosondes, a current research trend in the area of tools engineering is the development of functionality of the ionosondes in terms of defined characteristics. Rapidly developing breakthrough softwaredefined radio (SDR) technology fosters ionosondes evolution due to the development of universal hardware platforms (for instance, USRP platform). This allows to significantly improve the methodological support of the tools and increase their flexibility. Research aim. Studies addressed to the problem of the development of hardware software system for ionospheric sounding by spread spectrum signals with phaseshift keying. System was designed with the use of SDR technology and flexible platform USRP N210. The novelty of the work is manifested in the unification of the components of the device (ionosonde), decreasing transmitted power and expanding the set of measured characteristics of the ionosphere and the ionospheric channel for propagation of HF signals. Findings. Algorithms for synthesis and processing of a complex digital signal using up and down frequency converters were developed. They are supported by the methods of optimal processing, coherent integration and narrowband interferences mitigation. The use of universal hardware components (USRP platform, power amplifier, receive and transmit antenna, personal computers), software modules and developed relevant models, methods and algorithms allowed to significantly decrease transmitted power and expand the set of measured characteristics of the ionosphere as a propagation medium for HF signals. Some technical characteristics of the ionosonde outperform the ones that provide competitors prototypes. Practical significance. Theoretical models, methods and algorithms were verified in the fullscale experiments on ionospheric sounding, carried out in YoshkarOla. The developed software was tested. The proposed approaches seem rather promising for stateoftheart shorthaul cognitive HF communication systems for regions with challenging relief., №2(42) (2019)

Сформульована задача розподілу навантаження мережі між базовими станціями з підтримкою SDR, в основі якої лежить визначення оптимальної кількості абонентів для передачі даних з використанням кожної з технологій WiMAX, Wi-Fi, GSM і LTE, при заданій кількості БС та абонентів з фіксованою технологією. Вирішення задачі дозволить здійснювати автоматичний перехід між технологіями, відповідно до інформації про завантаженість мережі. The possibility of using cloud-based radio access network with software defined radio to solve the problem of limited spectral resources was considered. Hardware components in this network are replaced by reusable and flexible software defined functions which run in a virtual environment. Network load balancing problem between base stations supporting SDR, which is based on determining the optimum number of subscribers for data transmission using each of the WiMAX, Wi-Fi, GSM and LTE technologies, at a given number of base stations and subscribers with fixed technology was formulated. The solution will allow automatic switching between technologies, according to the information on the network load. This will increase the effectiveness of Cloud Radio Access Network through the optimal use of radio resources. Сформулирована задача распределения нагрузки сети между базовыми станциями с поддержкой SDR, в основе которой лежит определение оптимального количества абонентов для передачи данных с использованием каждой из технологий WiMAX, Wi-Fi, GSM и LTE, при заданном количестве БС и абонентов с фиксированной технологией. Решение задачи позволит осуществлять автоматический переход между технологиями, в соответствии с информацией о загруженности сети.

The paper offers an overview of recent applications of the Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology in satellite applications from a system perspective. A critical discussion of advanced payload and transponder architectures based on the exploitation of SDR is presented. Software Defined Payloads are envisioned as the next evolution step in the progress of satellite systems. Some representative applications of SDR to user ground terminals are also described.
