Švancarová, V., Study and Project Application for IROP Support. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. This bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a study and a project application for funding from Integrated Regional Operational Program of the European Union, including the preparation and subsequent implementation of the project. In case the application will be approved, the granted support will be used for lifelong, leisure and non-formal education in the Karvina region. The complete project application, which was submitted via the IS KP14 + portal, is in the annexes of this thesis.

Finances are an essential part of entrepreneurial activity without the entrepreneurial subject could not exist. The article focuses on the comparison of entrepreneurs' access to the financial support provided from EU funds, focusing on the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation (OPEI), which was implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The article focuses on an identifying differences in behavior, access and attitudes of small, medium and large enterprises in relation to the provided OPEI support. On the basis of the analysis and testing of the dependencies of the results of the questionnaire survey, it can be stated that the behavior of the beneficiaries varies from one category to another, the behavior of medium-sized enterprises is approaching rather the behavior and characteristics of large enterprises. Based on the answers received in the questionnaire survey, the areas in which the subjects' access differs (eg cluster membership) and areas where access is the same, such as the use of consultancy services, have been identified. The analysis confirmed that smaller businesses do not have the financial capabilities in particular to carry out more projects. The second part of the article aims to find the most appropriate model for identifying entrepreneurial subjects / projects that are potentially at risk of failure to default on project sustainability by assessing the financial health of beneficiaries of OPEI support that can be applied for the current and future programming period. The most suitable model that was identified is Taffler's model. Then the possibility of its application to the current and future programming period, both in the project run / administration phase and in the project application phase, is suggested.

This bachelor thesis evaluates grants projects supported by the European Union funds in the field of education. The purpose is to compare disparities with regard to the territorial division of the Czech Republic. The evaluation was based on the processing of data supported OP RDE projects and Czech Statistical Office. Part of the work is the visualization of data showing how successful regions are in using available grants.

The dissertation project Roma on the Czech countryside: Determinants of exclusion, potentials for inclusion deals with the situation of Roma in Czech rural municipalities. The starting motivation for the author's exploration of this topic has been information about the growing number of segregated localities in rural areas. In the local public discourses within the peripheral areas, this phenomenon has often been explained as the consequence of poverty-driven urban-rural migration. However, as the migration of socially excluded populations into disadvantaged areas stirs a lot of fears and negative emotions that provide a fertile ground for the spread of rumours, the author's preparatory research soon revealed that it is necessary to carefully distinguish between myths and reality. The author's desire to understand the complex processes behind the emergence of new Roma localities in rural areas required a combination of working methods: The author analysed the national policy and regulatory framework and realized empirical research in five micro-regions in different parts of the Czech Republic. The subject of this bachelor thesis is the economic inequalities in the European Union between 1999 and 2018, with the aim to analyze the impact of capital flows resulting from dividends and remittances paid out on the development of spatial disparities between national states. The first part of the thesis attempts to anchor the theme into the concept of the World system by I. Wallerstein with an overlap into the historical context, which formed the basis for today's polarization of Europe. The following is a brief description of the pros and cons of inequalities with the presentation of the European Union's efforts to address this problem. In the methodological part there are described the tools for the study of variability and capital flows. The empirical study applies methodological approaches to the specific data of gross domestic product and gross disposable income coming mainly from Eurostat. Green growth is resource-effi cient, cleaner economic growth and more resilient growth without slowing it. “Green growth’’ not only affects the quality of growth, but overall production. In this case, growth results from the investment in the upgrading of the entire production system to environmental and resource-saving processes and products. A prototype of this phenomenon is the climate-friendly ‘‘low-carbon economy.’’ Green growth is expected in implementation of Europe 2020 stratgey and can provide to harminized development and cohesion of old and new EU member states. Europe 2020 is the EU’s growth stratgey based on the growth of smart, sustainable and inclusive economy. The comparative study of green growth indicators and use of EU Structural Funds in 2007–2013 period in Baltics and Czech Republic and Slovakia was performed with the aim to defi ne the role of fi nancing from EU Structural Funds for enhancement of green growth in Baltic States, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The performed comparative assessment revealed that Czech Republic allocated the highest share of means form EU Structural Funds to enhance green growth. In terms of development of green growth indicators Czech Republic is also among the best performing countries following Estonia. The analysis of the use of EU Structural Funds in 2007–2013 in fi ve new EU member states indicated that the EU Structural Funds has positively infl uenced the development of RES in Baltic States, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The increase of renewable energy capacities in Baltic States, Czech Republic and Slovakia also contributed to the reduction of carbon intensity of economy, reduction of environmental pollution, climate change mitigation and energy import dependency.

The main aim of the thesis is to analyze how the town of Jindrichuv Hradec has used the European Union's financial resources during the program period 2007-2013. The thesis is divided into three parts, i.e. theoretical and practical part, and part of evaluation of outcomes of the thesis. The first goal of the thesis is a description of projects realized by the town of Jindrichuv Hradec, and funded by the European Structural and Investment Funds. These projects are compared to the strategic document of development of the town of Jindrichuv Hradec. The last part of the thesis fulfills its goals by giving recommendations for further development of the town of Jindrichuv Hradec.

My bachelor work deals with the evaluation of the use of EU structural funds in the Central Bohemia Region within the Regional Operational Program in Cohesion Region of Central Bohemia in the period 2007 - 2013. The description of the strategy and objectives of the program, the characteristics of the individual priority axes and areas of intervention during the subsidy system are given in the theoretical part. The practical part deals with the development of the use of structural funds in the Central Bohemia Region, where overall results achieved within the Regional Operational Program in Cohesion Region of Central Bohemia both from financial and technical point of view are evaluated. An analysis of the fulfillment of monitoring indicators at the level of priority axes and comparing actual results with expected targets in the program documents follows. In the final part an actual effects and impacts of program implementation on the population of the entire region of Central Bohemia are analyzed. The results of the Regional Operational Program in Cohesion Region of Central Bohemia and the comparison with other operational programs in the programming period 2007 - 2013 are given. There is also the evaluation of one of the failed projects and one of the most successful applicants on the contrary. The examples of completed projects are given.

The aim of the thesis "The quality of public administration and its impact on the competitiveness of the Czech Republic" was based on implementation Smart Administration projects co-financed from EU Structural Funds in the programming period 2007 - 2013, and the aim was to evaluate the development and quality of public services and their impact on the competitiveness of the Czech Republic.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the problem of structural funds in the EU from the point of view of development in municipalities and rural areas. The thesis looks into European Regional Development Fund and European Agricultural Fund For Rural Development and it follows up with operational programs (Rural development IROP, INTERREG), which are from these funds financed the most, and also concerning its priorities. There is also mentioned current socio-economic situation of municipalities in Moravian-Silesian region. The second part of this thesis is focused on possibilities of development of selected municipality in the border area. It evaluates its current situation from the perspective of using EU funds. In the end it was elaborated a case study focusing on the development of tourism in the village and in its surroundings, which would correspond to the strategic development of the municipality and at the same time it gives a method for drawing up the project plan that could be used in the future.

The thesis aims to analyze the current stage of the funding options for cultural events in the town of Písek. The theoretical part comprises basic information on the Structural funds, the budget of the European Union and the budget of Czech Republic. This part features basic concepts of structural policy, regional policy and regional development, analysis of program documents and funding options of cultural events and institutions. The practical part of the bachelor thesis focuses on assessing and describing the current stage of the funding options for cultural events in this town. The last part describes three cultural institutions in terms of drawing funds from the European Union, the state and private resources. It also contains some options for the development and innovation of these three cultural institutions.

This thesis builds on the topic of my bachelor thesis which dealt with the use of EU funds in Luhačovice and the analysis of specific projects that were successfully completed. This piece of work introduces us to two major subsidies that have been recently implemented in this particular city. It is based on the reconstruction of two streets named Jurkovičova alej and Dr.Veseleho, which are the two very important historical aspects of the city. In addition to the characteristics, costing models and final evaluation, a questionnaire for the local residents has also been developed and evaluated. This research tells us if in fact the residents of Luhačovice are aware of the changes going on and how they perceive them. Their opinions of the effectiveness of the use of subsidies were also recorded. In the conclusion, we can find various numerical comparisons over the years, in particular when the city began to use EU funds and an outline of the possible developments in the near future.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to test the hypothesis claiming that increase in the total allocation of European Structural and Investment Funds will foster economic growth and reduce unemployment in recipient countries. The econometric analysis has been based on a fixed effects method applied on annual panel data stemming from annual observations carried out in 26 EU Member States in a period 2004-2014, or in 21 EU Member States in a period 2000-2014. It has not been possible to verify the above mentioned hypothesis in the framework of a modified New Keynesian´s growth model and Fedeli´s (2014) unemployment model. The problem partly lies in the crowding out of public spending to alternative uses, which the European Commission cannot efficiently prevent.

Selected legal and economic problem purpose of drawing EU subsidies. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2016. The aim of this thesis is to summarize problems related to drawing subsidies from European funds. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical (bibliographic search) and parctical. In the theoretical part, function, importance and basic principles of EU funds are described. Also, one section of the theoretical part deals with the problematics of submitting applications for cofinancing from the EU funds and also the problems, that can appear during drawing a financial help from the EU funds are mentioned. The parctical part is focused on two cases, in which some problems arised in relation to EU funds subsidy drawing. Conclusion of the thesis deals with individual problems of project and formulates recommendations for a better control in the field of EU funds subsidy drawing.

Diploma thesis deals with the topic of drawing of financial resources from Eu-ropean funds in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Estonia. It focuses on pro-gramming period 2007-2013, which is together with the Cohesion policy pre-sented in the literature review. The part of results contains quantitative and system analysis of financial drawing from EU resources with the orientation on operational programmes for environment. The goal of this work is to evaluate the position of the Czech Republic in gaining from EU funds in 2007-2013 and to propose recommendation on improvement of current situation in following periods.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare two, a "soft" (non-investment) and a "hard" (investment), projects which represent specific applicants' business objectives for funding grants from the EU. The thesis analyzes deriving from the structural funding of the EU in the programming period 2007 2013, it describes main pitfalls in deriving from these resources and evaluates them. The thesis also describes positive and negative aspects that come with this financial support. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts a practical part and a theoretical part. The theoretical part describes the 2007 2013 funding programmes. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the operational programmes. It also evaluates positive and negative aspects that come with obtained funds, and the constraints associated with the project implementation.

This thesis deals with public procurement within Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness during the period 2007 2013. The introductory part of the thesis contains a brief description of Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness and its implementation into targets of regional politics. The following parts are dedicated to the public procurement in general and then in a specific envoronment of Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness. The fundamental part of the thesis illustrates process of supervision of the public contracts (ex-ante and ex-post), results of the checks and most frequent mistakes revealed during checks with a brief analysis of their causes and suggested steps to eliminate them in future. Next part of this thesis is aimed at ineligible expenditures caused by mistakes in public procurements. The final part contains a closer look at area of public procurement in the frame of current programming period 2014 and 2020.

European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund are Structural Funds which are used as a primary source of finance for implementation of European economic, social and territorial cohesion policy. This solidary policy reduces differences between regions by helping less developed regions through investment and non-investment projects. The main objective of this bachelor thesis dealing with the topic "Options of support for business entities from Structural Funds" is to analyze an availability of provided funds in the program period 2007-2013. In a theoretical part of thesis were described three objectives of structural policy, explained principle of programming and presented a hierarchy of strategic and program documents. Were introduced units for territorial statistics NUTS, which are necessary for relevant comparison of explored topographical areas. One chapter was devoted to the description of the business entities typology. The final chapter brought a detailed overview of Operational Programmes during the period 2007-2013 and information about new program period 2014-2020 were also presented. An analytical part is devoted to statistical evaluation of using of financial means from Structural Funds in the context of allocation to individual operational programs, number of applications, number of completed projects, meeting the limits of utilization of allocated funds and a research of saturations of project indicators. In conclusion was explained a procedure of choice and application of Operational Programme as well as specific project for financing of training needs of selected business entity.

Aim of this thesis is to create analyze business plan of guest house named Třináctka, which will be built in southern Moravia with support of EU funds. The thesis is divided into 2 parts, theoretical and applicative. There is described meaning of business plan and EU structural funds in the first, theoretical part. There is also defined structure of business plan and all items of this plan are described. Specialized literature and author´s knowledge gained during studies at University of Economics in Prague were used as a source of this theoretical part. Applicative part consist of business plan and process how to get subsidy from EU structural fund and how this subsidy will influence comprehensive impact on the guesthouse Třináctka. At the end of the thesis there is a conclusion about potential success of the project with regards the business plan in applicative part.

The aim of this thesis was to present an overview of the Regional policy of the European Union and of the effects of this policy in relation to selected the town. The main aim was to evaluate the finances resources of the EU funds gained by the town of Písek in the period 2007-2013. Reaching the target was preceded by a theoretical basis, which explains basic terms related to cohesion policy and describes of effects of this policy in connection to the development of regions EU. On the main aim were followed sub-goals, who were achieved accross of the selected methods and procedures in a particular parts of thesis. The main goal and sub-goals were fulfilled. Sub-goals were to describe and analyze implemented projects to town of Písek, to analyze the use of finances from the funds of EU and to assess whether the projects were implemented in accordance with the aims of strategic plan of development town Písek. The last sub-goal of the formulation own proposals for the future of town of Písek were presented at the end of thesis.

Kudláčková, E. Evaluation the cross-border cooperation Czech republic -- Slovakia. Master Thesis. Brno, 2015. The Czech and Slovak Republics share a great part of history, and they are also connected through their similar languages and culture. But how does the cooperation of those states look like today, when both Republics are members of the European Union, which actively supports the establishment and the development of cross-border cooperation? The subject of this thesis is to answer this question, to assess generally the cross-border cooperation of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The evaluation of the current programme period 2007 -- 2013 within cross-border cooperation is done on the basis of the analysis of the collected data, whereas the prediction of the working of the future programme period 2014 -- 2020 is based mainly on a qualitative research.

Diploma thesis "The influence of using structural funds on the regional development" was dealing with the analysis of project's influence realised and cofinanced by subsidy system of The European Union. These projects were analysed in complex and fractional way. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used to assess the influence on selected macroeconomic indicators in Vysočina region.The mutual dependence of quantitative values was not fully proven. Nevertheless the influence of the projects on quality of life in relevant municipalities was considerable.

The aim of the thesis is to analyse and define how the Structural Funds can support competiveness of higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. The opening part provides a summary of the European Union Funds and the Operational Programme with emphasis on the Education for Competitiveness Operational Programme (ECOP) focused on improving the quality of and modernising systems of initial, tertiary and further education and improving the conditions in research and development. An analysis of concrete projects supported by the ECOP is introduced in the second part.

The subject of this thesis is to analyse the disbursement of funds the European Union on the territory of Visegrad countries within the programming period 2007 2013. Primarily the work deals how much was been reached from expected financial allocation resources and the resulting drawdown of funds divided into areas in which the finance income in countries and whether there really to fulfilled the commitments made by the country in the operational programs at the beginning of the programming period 2007 2013.

The aim of the thesis is to identify basic characteristics related to position of the outermost regions of the member states of the EU within EU development policies. These regions are evaluated from the point of view including allocated funding within Structural Funds (SF) and European Structural and Investments Funds during the programming periods of 2000-2006, 2007-2013, and 2014-2020, content of the operational programmes, and basic economic indicators. The outermost regions shows lower values of GDP per capita than European regions of the same country while showing higher allocated funding per capita than the European regions of the same country. The outermost regions also shows constantly growing GDP per capita at least from 2000 while the SF and ESIF allocated funding for the regions decreases. These findings are predictable. Interesting finding is that while the regional GDP of the outermost regions increases investments efforts do not shift towards soft projects. The investments efforts show steadily hard project implementation activities and increasing ratio of environmental projects, which are mostly hard projects. This finding creates space for improving concept of more developed regions focusing of soft projects and less developed regions focusing on hard projects.

Bachelor thesis deals with program periods 2007--2013 a 2014--2020 with an emphasis on operational programs from Objective 1. The aim of this thesis is evaluate the application of the principle of programming and realization of European Union's regional policy, which is connected with principle. Within evaluation of period 2007--2013 are analysed operational programmes from objective of Convergence. The current period 2014--2020 is analogously outlined and compared to principles of programming. Thesis explains the concept and the relevance of regional policy in general and its connection to EU. The subsequent part is focused in detail on the concept of the programming period 2007--2013, its main strategies, objectives, methods and implements of financing in Czech Republic. The last part is analogously dedicated to the current period 2014+.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the possibilities of financing a business plan for an education agency. Financing will be done by means of regional and structural funds of the European Union. The theoretical part consists of the description of the purpose of the business plan and its logical structure. Furthermore, in the thesis, possibilities of financing the business plan via European funds are described. In the practical part, there is the specific business plan for the education agency, which fulfills the requirements needed to acquire the subsidy.

This thesis analyzes the effect of Structural Funds from European Union on municipalities' financial results. It focuses on grants concerning waste water treatment's projects in the Czech Republic and the size of municipalities co-financing these grants. The aim is to determine the difference in financial results of municipalities using the grant and the others, followed by numeration of the difference by municipalities' own resources. To compare the municipalities, we use difference in differences approach. The OLS regression is used for estimate the effect of own resources. The results show that size of municipalities' co-financing, usually mentioned as 10%, is in fact in average 35%. There exists a large significant difference in financial results comparing pre- treatment and post-treatment period in municipalities building waste water treatment project financed from Structural Funds. It is also significantly determined by the amount of own resources. The diploma thesis concentrates on the area of Structural funds of the European Union and their applications in the field of support in research and innovation in the Czech Republic. The main objective of this thesis is to provide the reader with a complex view of support in the field of research and innovation from the EU Structural funds in the programming period of 2007--2013 and also in the future period of 2014--2020. Partial objective is to evaluate the application of EU Structural funds on the basis of a specific operational programme supporting field of research and innovation. The research question is defined as the meaningfulness of settings of the operational programmes in the field of research and innovation and the evaluation of their effectiveness and sustainability. The first chapter introduces firstly the regional policy of European Union and its main instrument, the EU Structural funds and then concentrates shortly on the field of research and innovation in the Czech Republic. The second chapter focuses on the specific operational programmes which are supporting the field of research and innovation for both programming periods and furthermore evaluates the drawing of EU Structural funds in the Czech Republic. Lastly, the third chapter offers a practical application of the Structural funds of EU on the base of a specific operational programme, the Operational Programme Research and Development for innovation (OP R & DI). The main concentration is devoted to evaluating the sustainability of research and development centers supported by the OP R & DI.

First part describes structure of regional policy EU and documentary ground of operational programmes in Czech republic. Next part is devoted to Regional operational program Střední Morava, particulary characterists of region and implementary organisation. Subject of the Bachelor's Thesis is creating the feasibility study of the real project financed from Structural Funds. The theoretical part concerns project management and the structure of the feasibility study, which includes the various subchapters. The practical part describes the feasibility study of the project Kindergarten in Raková. To compare project financing with difference in public and other sources of financing is calculated with public and private kindergarten in a financial plan. The Bachelor's Thesis analyzes the socio-economic beneficials and the risk impact on the progress of implementation phase and working phase of the project. The aim is to determine if the examined project is able to exist for sustainable period of the suggested perspective options.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of local governance in selected municipalities in the Ústecký region based on analysis of the use of finance. The theoretical part is devoted to the issues of public administration, governance and local budgeting with emphasis on the possibilities of evaluating the efficiency. The research focuses on the analysis of current and capital expenditure on development activities and solving local and regional problems - unemployment and social exclusion - for the period 2002 - 2012. Further research focuses on the use of EU funds. It was able to demonstrate the existence of significant differences in the efficiency of governance on the example of surveyed municipalities. Most of the local governments support short-term projects, whose benefits for local development are minimal, instead of investing in development and problem solving. European structural funds, which for the programming period 2014 -- 2020 are so called "the European Structural and Investment funds (ESI funds) are the main instrument for implementing the policy of economic and social cohesion (ESC) of the European Union. The main purpose of these funds is to reduce economic and social disparities between EU Member states and their regions. The aim of this work is to assess the influence and impact of EU funds in the development of a particular region in the country, especially in the field of tourism. This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical part focuses on regional policy (also the economic and social cohesion) of the European Union and the Czech Republic. It also discusses the issue of ESI funds in detail and focuses on each fund individually. This section is followed by describing the situation in the use of structural funds in the Czech Republic during the programming period 2007 - 2013. Finally, the thesis also mentions the current programming period 2014 - 2020, the basic programming documents such as the Agreement on Partnership and new operational programs. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of a specific project in the field of tourism in Central Bohemia. Conclusion contains the evaluation of the impact of European funds in a specific region and presents a summary of the pros and cons of their use.

The thesis is focused on the analysis of financing of Secondary building school in Třebíč -- Střední škola stavební Třebíč, funded organization, between the years 2009 -- 2013. The theoretical part includes the structure of national economy, then public sector issues, which education is part of it. Followed by sources of financing of secondary school, legal forms of school, tax benefit and method's description. These methods are used in the practical part, starting with horizontal and vertical analysis, after that self-sufficiency, profitability and finished by KAMF* model. There is neither a comparison with other secondary schools missing, operating on the same field as Střední škola stavební Třebíč is. The conclusion of the thesis is the fact that Střední škola stavební Třebíč uses all approachable ways how to reach the finance to raise student's amount.

This diploma thesis explores the issue of project activity which has become a new challenge for school directors in EU member states for the last few years. The projects not only contribute to the fulfillment of the tasks of the educational process, but also to the development of the school environment. The aim of this thesis is to compare the use of project possibilities within the research sample of directors of secondary schools in the Czech Republic and France. Theoretical background specifies the project and its cycle together with the strategy, tools and subsidy opportunities within the educational and regional policy of the European Union. The empirical part investigates the differences between the activity and success in the use of grant funds within the sample of directors of Czech and French schools and views on the form of international cooperation in the Comenius sub-program of lifelong learning.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the impact of the European funds on the Economic growth in the Visegrad Four countries. The research focuses on the Structural Funds together with the Cohesion Fund. The thesis also examines the impact of the European funds on the convergence process in the countries of Visegrad Four and the indirect impact of the funding from the Cohesion Funds. The empirical results prove the positive impact of the funds on the economic growth and on the convergence process. The indirect impact is not confirmed.

This diploma thesis focuses on support of development, research and innovation in the European Union. The first part contains some definitions of terms development, research and innovation. It also provides a brief description of history of support for this sphere. On the example of Czech Republic this thesis describes sources, which can be used to get financial support. The final part evaluates the drawing of Structural funds in Czech Republic and also the participation of Czech scientists on framework programmes, which are supporting development, research and innovation.

The subject of my Master´s Thesis is Use of funding from EU resources for construction, renovation and equipment of schools in South Bohemia. The thesis consists of two parts a theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part contains a description of basic terms concerning Structural Funds and Operational Programmes (OP) that schools gain financial means through. Special attention is paid to OP Living environment, OP Education and competitiveness and to Regional Operational Programme South-west, too. The theoretical part includes a procedure from planning, over realization and monitoring to checking of the project applying for support of funds of the European Union. The practical part is focused on use of theoretical knowledge in practice and on analysis of present state of using grants by schools in the South-bohemian district. A factual example how a school applies for financial support and what requirements must be submitted and met by an applicant is given at the end of the practical part. Results of this Master´s thesis can help to comprehend problems concerned and to simplify for schools administration connected with applying for European grants.

Bachelor thesis discusses about support Žilina region through the Structural Funds. It is also about analyzing the ways in which the county used the funds from the EU and for which projects should be in the next programming period focus. In the first part explains the basic concepts related to regional policy, the instrument of regional policy and the programming period 2007 - 2013 and its operational programs. The second part focuses on the characteristics of the region itself and implemented projects on its territory. The final section presents three own project proposals whose implementation would contribute to the further development of the region.

In the context of this thesis was analyzed the current state of the use of subsidies for the construction and repair of local roads in the South Bohemia Region in the period 2007-2013. The outcome of this work are four proposed measures reflect comments mayors to grant titles. These measures lead to increased efficiency grants and disclosure of municipalities in the region.

Diploma thesis "Drawing of EU Structural Funds in the South Moravian Region" aims to evaluate drawing of financial resources from Structural Funds, specifically the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation. The theoretical part brings out differences and changes in the past and forthcoming programming period and focuses on the process and evaluation methods of program documents. This knowledge is practically applied in the second part, which is focused on evaluation of the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation in the South Moravian Region. The thesis also includes case studies of projects of selected entrepreneurs in the region.
