This study explored creative social entrepreneurship in Indonesia. We investigate how traditional handweaving SMEs gain sustainable performance. This study employs a qualitative approach based on grounded research. Eight respondents were participated on data collection through interview and observation. The data were evaluated using open, axial, and selective coding to propose new concepts of hybrid values for traditional weaving SMEs. The findings show that the entrepreneurial orientation (EO) of traditional weaving SMEs is characterised by their entrepreneurial values (creativity and social). Entrepreneurial orientation entails social proactivity towards community benefits, social innovation in protecting the environment and local resources, and market risk-taking to gain profit. The discussion develops the concept of creative and social entrepreneurial orientation as antecedent factors for sustainable performance. This study also examines in further detail the problems of generating sustainable performance. Introduction: This study examined the effects of circular economy practices on the integrated waste management industry, drawing on the stakeholder theory. This study examined how the performance of Ghanaian waste management companies is affected by circular economy strategies, particularly upcycling and was recovery. Methods: About 7,190 firms registered with the Environmental Service Providers Association (ESPA) formed the population of the study, out of which the sample yielded 524 valid responses, which was analysed using PLS-SEM and Partial Correlation Analysis. PLS was adopted because it integrates factor and route analyses into significantly more rigorous statistical processes. In addition, the Partial Correlation network structure was adopted to explain how the nodes or variables are related to one another. Results: The results demonstrate that upcycling has a favorable and considerable impact on the economic performance (β = 0.475, t = 4.495, p = 0.000), social performance (β = 0.403, t = 3.132, p = 0.002), and corporate governance performance (β = 0.455, t = 3.670, p = 0.000) of the firms. Furthermore, waste recovery improved the performance of waste management companies in terms of performance, specifically economic performance (β = 0.333, t = 3.183, p = 0.001), environmental performance (β = 0.583, t = 4.641, p = 0.000), social performance (β = 0.402, t = 3.157, p = 0.000), and corporate governance performance (β = 0.250, t = 2. 024, p = 0.048) indices. Discussion: Finally, circular economy practices have a substantial impact on firms' financial stability and investment readiness. It was concluded that waste management companies that excel in undertaking circular economy activities such as remanufacturing, trash recycling, and refurbishing are more likely to draw clients who want green activities in addition to their current needs. Additionally, these actions increase efficiency, which lowers operational expenses and improves governance-related concerns, including management training on these procedures and implementation of policies in compliance with the law. This study aimed to investigate the reality of sustainable performance with its dimensions (economic performance, social performance, and environmental performance) in civil society organizations (CSOs) in Wadi Hadramout. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach as a suitable methodology for addressing the study problem. The study population consisted of all active CSOs in Wadi Hadramout, totaling (45) organizations. The study used a questionnaire as a data collection tool, where a purposive sample consisting of administrative leaders (head of the organization, executive director, secretary-general, department head) was selected. The sample size was (159) individuals. After conducting the appropriate statistical processing for the study, the data was processed using the (SPSS) program, resulting in a set of findings, the most important of which were: there is a moderate interest among CSOs in Wadi Hadramout in practicing sustainable performance in its dimensions. The most important recommendations were: giving CSOs greater attention to the concept of sustainable performance, which enables them to fulfill their assigned role in all aspects of their work (economic, social, and environmental). Drawing from the Resource-based view (RBV) of the firm, this study investigates how and when organizations' strategic intent of social sustainability translates into their sustainable firm performance. In doing so, we explain the mediating role of the collective affective commitment of employees and the moderating role of green HRM policies. To test these -predictions, we conducted two field-survey studies. In study 1, we relied on time-lagged data, collected in two rounds, from 199 employees working in three organizations that are green-company certified by WWF in Pakistan. In study 2, we collected three-wave time-separated data from 133 employees in twelve randomly selected organizations. The findings from both studies provide support for our predictions and reveal that a key reason why organizations with a social sustainability orientation achieve higher sustainable performance is that their employees develop a shared belief that environmental conservation initiatives are both valued and expected. Moreover, this process is more salient in organizations that adopt green HRM policies. That is, green HRM policies reinforce that the organization is particularly concerned about social sustainability, therefore, employees become more committed to serving this cause. This study examines the impact of ESG strategies on sustainable performance in multinational enterprises (MNEs), with a particular focus on the mediating role of internal market-oriented culture (IMOC) and the moderating effect of job crafting. To validate these key mechanisms, the study employs a stratified random sampling method to collect data from 614 employees across manufacturing, service, and technology-intensive industries. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to test the hypothesized relationships. The empirical results demonstrate that ESG strategies significantly enhance sustainable organizational performance, with IMOC serving as a critical mediator linking ESG strategies to improved outcomes. Furthermore, job crafting strengthens the positive relationship between IMOC and sustainable performance, indicating that when employees proactively reshape their tasks and roles to align with ESG objectives, organizational sustainability is further enhanced. The influence of cultural context plays a crucial role in this process. The findings reveal that the effects of IMOC and job crafting are more pronounced in collectivist cultures (e.g., China and Japan), while in individualist cultures (e.g., the United States and Germany), performance improvements rely more heavily on individual incentives and feedback mechanisms. These insights provide practical guidance for MNE managers on how to tailor ESG strategies, IMOC, and job crafting approaches to specific regional and cultural settings. This study contributes to the literature by demonstrating how ESG strategies interact with internal cultural and behavioral mechanisms to drive sustainable performance in MNEs. It highlights the role of IMOC and job crafting as internal drivers that bridge ESG initiatives with tangible organizational outcomes. From a practical perspective, the findings offer actionable guidance for MNEs on how to design adaptive ESG strategies and employee engagement practices tailored to culturally diverse environments. This study aims to explain the impact of intellectual capital in sustainable performance for a sample of telecommunication corporations listed on the Iraqi Stock Exchange. Our research sample included Asia Cell for 2012-2023, as use models for measuring intellectual capital Public (2000) and developed in models MVAIC, and this includes six for capital, "where intellectual capital efficiency's (ICE) connection to human capital (HC), HCE human capital efficiency, SCE structural capital efficiency, RCE relational capital efficiency, HC is employees' salaries and wages, and RC is marketing, selling, and advertising expenses." To measure the sustainable performance as a dependent variable and to test the hypotheses, a statistical program (SPSS) was used. This research is intended to examine the adoption of the Quality by Design (QbD) approach within a process industry setting, thereby leading to sustainable performance. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to explore the systematic integration of QbD principles into the design and control of distillation column controllers to improve product quality, operating efficiency, and sustainability. The study analyzes process variables and develops a robust system by leveraging statistical methods, quality management tools, and chemical and control engineering expertise. It is found that effective deployment of QbD methodology in process engineering requires a robust and systematic approach. Additionally, we determined that Quality Target Product Profile (QTPP) and Critical Quality Attributes (CQA) are important components for effective deployment and sustainment of QbD to achieve Sustainable Development Goals for the industries. Moreover, it is observed that including noise and control parameters is essential during the project's design phase. This study offers a systematic approach to implementing QM in industrial process design. Sustainability is a global concern. Industry 4.0 is driving the manufacturing sector toward sustainability within the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework, emphasizing economic, environmental, and social performance. However, limited empirical research has examined how servitization, digitalization, and digital learning orientation (DLO) interact to influence all three dimensions of sustainable performance. This study addresses this gap by proposing a tri-theoretical framework based on TBL, Resource-based View (RBV), and Dynamic Capability View (DCV). A hybrid partial least squares structural equation modeling-artificial neural network (PLS-SEM-ANN) model was developed to examine the direct effects of servitization and digitalization, the mediating effect of digitalization, and the moderating effect of DLO. An empirical analysis of 519 Chinese manufacturing employees revealed that servitization and digitalization positively impact sustainable performance, with digitalization acting as a mediating factor. Servitization also positively impacts digitalization. However, DLO negatively moderates the relationship between servitization and sustainable performance. A case study of Amazon.com, Inc. validates our quantitative findings by demonstrating the impact of servitization, digitalization, and DLO strategies on sustainable performance in real-world applications. These findings reveal theoretical and practical implications for effectively leveraging servitization, digitalization, and DLO to achieve practical sustainability.

This study analyses the mediating role of digital innovation variables on the relationship between green human resource management (GHRM) and sustainability performance. This research method uses a mixed method, combining primary data in questionnaires and focus group discussions (FGD). This study also uses an experimental approach, which treats respondents, so the questionnaire is distributed to respondents 2 times. The findings of this study indicate that digital innovation can mediate the relationship between GHRM and sustainability performance. In addition, this study also proves that there is an increase in the role of digital innovation as a mediator after treatment compared to before treatment. This finding provides theoretical implications that GHRM can be supported by digital innovation so that it can be a reference for further research. This finding can be a reference for the government and start-up technology companies to accommodate the needs of companies in implementing GHRM. This is important because the starting point for companies to perform sustainability is to equip employees to be aware of the importance of the environment and sustainability.

The sustainable performance of the endek ikat weaving business is essential for the growth of small and medium enterprises and the local economy of Bali (Indonesia). This study intends to examine the direct effects of green entrepreneurial orientation and sustainable leadership on endek weaving SME performance, as well as their indirect effects through the mediation of green digital innovation. This analysis was conducted on endek ikat weaving SMEs in the province of Bali. The population included 1,391 management personnel. Using the proportional random sampling, the study selected 311 respondents. The research hypotheses were tested using a questionnaire distributed among SME management in Bali. Research data were analyzed using the PLS-SEM method and SmartPLS 3 as the analytical tool. The results revealed that sustainable leadership affects green digital innovation (β = 0.483, t-statistic = 5.968). Green entrepreneurial orientation affects sustainable performance and green digital innovation (β = 0.240, 0.445; t-statistic = 2.858, 5.457). Moreover, green digital innovation has the potential to mediate the effect of sustainable leadership and green entrepreneurial orientation toward sustainable performance (β = 0.317, 0.292; t-statistic = 4.184, 4.645). By integrating leadership strategies with a green entrepreneurial approach, as well as innovating through digital media, Balinese endek weaving SMEs can improve their performance to achieve business sustainability. Abstract This study aims to investigate the influence of Organizational Smart Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Algorithms (STARA) capabilities on Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices, Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices, and also its direct impact on Sustainable Performance (SP) outcomes within the manufacturing landscape of Bangladesh. A quantitative approach was employed, gathering data from 395 employees in the Bangladeshi manufacturing sector through a survey questionnaire using a seven-point Likert scale. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was utilized to analyze the data, focusing on testing hypotheses related to the relationships between organizational STARA capabilities, GHRM, GSCM, and SP. The study found positive relationships between organizational STARA (OSC) capabilities and GHRM, GSCM, and SP. All hypotheses were accepted, GHRM ← STARA (β = 0.210), GSCM ← STARA (β = 0.247), and SP ← STARA (β = 0.135). Additionally, it revealed that GHRM and GSCM mediate the relationship between organizational STARA capabilities and SP. This research contributes to filling the existing gap in the literature by providing empirical evidence on the integration of STARA capabilities with GHRM and GSCM practices, specifically within the context of the Bangladeshi manufacturing sector. It also highlights the mediating role of GHRM and GSCM in enhancing sustainable performance through STARA capabilities. The findings of this study offer valuable insights for organizations operating in the manufacturing sector, suggesting strategies for leveraging STARA capabilities to enhance sustainability, efficiency, and competitiveness. Policymakers and stakeholders can use these insights to formulate policies and initiatives to promote the adoption of sustainable practices in manufacturing.

Research background: The evolving business sector, driven by environmental factors and social pressure such as natural capital, global competitiveness, etc., necessitates continuous improvement and adaptation. The study presents White Supply Chain Management (WSCM), which incorporates ethical, social, and environmental practices into supply chains to enhance competitiveness. WSCM expands on Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) by integrating principles of ethics and social responsibility towards achieving the SDGs. The variables include social pressure, ethical management and corporate social responsibility, promoting holistic sustainability across all supply chains. Purpose of the article: The study's objectives were to examine the validity components of WSCM in the food sector, analyze the influence of WSCM on the long-term effectiveness of the Food Industry, and examine the WSCM model to see how it promotes long-term effectiveness in the food business. Method: The research used a quantitative survey design to elicit responses from a sample group of 664 respondents, selected using a lottery-based random sampling method with 2-3 key informants per factory, typically occupying middle to high-level executive positions. The test tool was a structural equation model. Findings & value added: The results show that WSCM and sustainable performance (SUS) are much improved by social pressure. WSCM further improves SUS. The findings emphasize the need for food sector stakeholders to interact with their publics (both internal and external), maintain ethical standards, and leverage supply chain analytics for transparency. Theoretically, the findings show how societal pressure drives sustainability through WSCM, therefore addressing issues outside of conventional Green Supply Chain Management. The study focuses on the necessity of implementing an integrated framework for managing the supply chain, comprising ethical, social, and environmental factors, and advises future research to test the WSCM framework in additional sectors and investigate its long-term effects on sustainability. The global economy's changes have led to enterprises developing strategies to adapt, resulting in gradual market share reductions, sales volume decreases, and overall size reductions. Kenyan SMEs experienced a 58% decrease in sales revenue and 75% employee reductions from 2017-2018, followed by a 59% decline in sales and profit growth in 2022. Therefore, the current project investigated the effect of technological innovation strategies; which are product innovation, process innovation, marketing innovations and organization innovations on performance of SMEs in Bungoma County, Kenya. The study used resource-based view, dynamic capabilities theory, theory of innovation and technology organization environment framework. The study embraced descriptive research design. The target population was 4,264 SMEs in Bungoma County. Stratified and random sampling techniques were used as a sampling technique. A sample size of 366 was determined using Yamane formula of 1967. Primary data was collected using a structured questionnaire. The response rate was seventy six percent. The study established a positive and significant relationship between product innovations, process innovations, marketing innovations and organizational innovations on the firm performance of SMEs Bungoma County. The study recommends that the enterprises should developing products that address specific market gaps, prioritize adopting technology-driven solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, increase productivity and leverage digital platforms to reach a broader customer base and empower employees through skill development and training, increases effectiveness.
