In the implementation of Lean manufacturing (LM) the focus was to eliminate the barriers within the ten generic barrier areas to achieve a remarkable success. The Automotive Supply Chain (ASC) in South Africa (SA) found these ten generic barrier areas insufficient because of the culture mix, level of education of employees, religion, and cultural values. To optimize the implementation of LM the ASC in SA found seven new barrier areas that needs subordination. The seven barrier areas are not yet documented as critical in the academic work. The seven areas are Green Technologies, workers, sustenance, safety, security, profitability, and Marketing, but are discussed elsewhere with no relation to implementing LM. These have increased the success rate in the SA setting. Some of these technologies are broken down to subunits because they involve many attributes. The study will elaborate the generic ten critical areas then discuss the seven as findings in the ASC in SA. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

IntroductionSmoking causes lung cancer and a wide range of acute and chronic diseases annually throughout the world. A fourth-generation behavioral framework, namely the Multi-Theory Model (MTM) of health behavior change was used to predict the initiation and maintenance of smoking cessation among health worker smokers.MethodsA cross-sectional study of 170 smoking healthcare workers was conducted in Kabul. A non-probability convenience sampling method was used to recruit respondents. A valid and reliable 37-item MTM-based questionnaire was administered to male smokers. Stepwise multiple regression was used to explain smoking cessation. The overall Cronbach’s alpha coefficient (α) for the initial and retention scales of the MTM variables was 0.80 and 0.79, respectively.ResultsThe average age of the participants was 29.33 ± 6.21 years. The reported average year of smoking was 5.6 ± 4.7 with the average number of 5.64 ± 5.21cigarette smoking per day. Behavioral confidence and changes in physical environment were significant predictors of smoking cessation initiation. The sustenance of smoking cessation behavior was significantly influenced by emotional transformation, practicing for change and changes in social environment.ConclusionMTM has the usefulness to assess both the initiation and sustenance behavior of smoking cessation. Potential arrangements utilizing MTM develops ought to be created in future interventions to alter behavior of smoking cessation.

Dedicated Interprofessional Training Units (ITUs) in hospital wards are one way to prepare healthcare students for Interprofessional patient-centered care. Based on theoretical foundations, research, and our lived experiences of successes as well as failures, we propose 12 tips on how to prepare, implement, and sustain a dedicated ITU, combining the Grol & Wensing model for planning change with the Self-determination Theory of motivation. Start with a steering group, with a dedicated project leader, to translate awareness of the need for an ITU into wider awareness and motivation among stakeholders, with the ITU being a solution to authentic problems. Create shared ownership by jointly formulating feasible educational goals and starting with a pilot to provide opportunities for change. Motivate all stakeholders by stimulating their autonomy, interprofessional competence as well as relatedness to each other, in line with the Self-determination Theory. Confirm the value of the ITU at all stages and embed the ITU in the organizational strategy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Many behavior change theories have evolved over time. Originally, the first conceptions prioritized interventions based on information, such as raising awareness and transferring knowledge. Second-generation theories prioritize the development of skills and the promotion of awareness. The emergence of evidence-based techniques in the 1990s gave rise to third-generation theories such as the Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Theory. Presently, fourth-generation trends amalgamate various components from multiple theories to implement accurate treatments, employing technology and emphasizing targeted behavior change. This paper aims to do a concise evaluation of the multi-theory model (MTM) of health behavior change interventions in the context of planning substance use prevention and treatment. The current area of intervention programs aimed at preventing and treating substance use may benefit from MTM, an innovative fourth-generation behavior change model. Tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs have all been the subjects of experimental, cross-sectional, and qualitative research. We have presented that additional research is required to compare MTM with knowledge-based therapies or interventions grounded in other theories. A gold standard would be the randomized controlled trials and behavioral change interventions particularly useful for this purpose. In addition, research evaluating the interventions’ efficacy must be carefully planned and executed.

Bir insanın hayatının hemen her yönüyle ilgili Hz. Peygamber’in hadislerini bulmak mümkündür. Çünkü hadisler, Kur’an’ı tebliğ edip açıklayarak tatbik eden Rasûlullah’ın yaşantısının bizlere ulaşmış sözlü hâlidir.

From time immemorial, the traditional practice of group work has contributed to the harmonious existence of various indigenous peoples. The Bakarwal pastoral nomads, who live in the Pir Panjal Range of the Great Himalayas in Jammu and Kashmir, India, sustain their pastoral nomadic way of life by living and working in groups. They demonstrate the principles and values of social group work as they perform the transhumance or biannual seasonal migration, distribute tasks, reside in their summer and winter pastures, resolve conflicts, and provide reciprocal support and mutual aid. Available literature highlights the obstacles and challenges encountered by Bakarwal pastoral nomads, however, there is a dearth of literature that documents the self-sustaining practices that they use to overcome such complexities. This paper attempts to bridge this gap by comparing the traditional group work of the Bakarwals with professional social work with groups. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

INDUSTRY 4.0 ,ORGANIZATIONAL performance ,LEADERSHIP ,QUANTITATIVE research ,BANKING industry - Abstract
This paper examines the present 4IR's predictive elements for sustaining organizational performance (OP) in Nigerian banks. Therefore, in light of the existing 4IR, this article suggests strategies for improving and sustaining OP in Nigerian banks. The report promoted a quantitative research method based on a survey study design. The findings indicated that, within the Nigerian banks in the 4IR, employees' polychronicity (EP), Leadership 4.0 (L4.0), and perceived organizational support (POS) significantly and jointly predicted the sustainability of OP. Thus, it is recommended that human resource professionals, organizational managers, and the Nigerian banking industry promote strategies for enhancing and maintaining organizational performance. These strategies include encouraging employees to adopt a polychronic mindset, increasing Leadership 4.0, and offering regular organizational support. Thus, this paper has recognized organizational support, Leadership 4.0, and employees' polychronicity as significant influencers in predicting factors in sustaining organizational performance in the Nigerian banking business during the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The study presents the problems, difficulties, and conflicts associated with the presence of foreign powers in the period of 1945-47, starting with the Soviet occupation and the appearance of the Allied Control Commission. I intend to compare the situation in the countryside (especially in Pest-Pilis-Solt-Kiskun County) and the capital by emphasizing the occupation, the relationship between the occupiers and the population, and the costs of the occupation, especially the sustenance. Is it possible to weight between the hardships of the countryside or the capital? What are the similarities and differencies? How did they cope with the "feeding of the Russian Bear"? In terms of sources, I used the materials of the National Archives of Hungary Pest County Archives, Bács-Kiskun County Archives, Budapest City Archives, as well as memoirs and diaries. NON-timber forest products , *COMMUNITIES , *SUSTAINABILITY , *FOREST reserves , *RANK correlation (Statistics) , *RAIN forests ,DEVELOPING countries - Abstract
In forest communities of the developing world, reconciling the need to exploit non-timber forest products (NTFPs) and the concurrent need to preserve the same is a classic hallmark of sustainable development. Hence, the influence of pro-sustainability orientation on the exploitation of NTFPs in communities adjoining a forest reserve in the tropical rain forest region of southwestern Nigeria was examined. Proportional representation influenced the process of selecting 190 respondents from eight communities. Spearman rank correlation coefficient (r) was used to analyze data. Results indicate that an overwhelming majority (83.7%) of respondents exploited firewood. Edible foods (75.8%), fodder (67.4%), medicinal plants (65.8%), small animals (62.1%) and food wrappings (66.3%) were among the NTFPs that respondents exploited the most. The exploitation of 9 of 13 NTFPs yielded an inverse relationship with pro-sustainability orientation, suggesting that these relations are sustainability-enhancing. The exploitation of 4 of 13 NTFPs yielded positively significant relations with pro-sustainability orientation, which is not in favor of sustainability. These NTFPS includes firewood, edible foods, medicinal plants, and food wrappings. The exploitation of subsistence-required-NTFPs is a huge limitation to sustainable exploitation. This populates a subsistence-exception theory of NTFP exploitation that embosses the need-for-sustenance determinism of unsustainable natural resource use. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Hesitancy toward the COVID-19 vaccine has hindered its rapid uptake among the Hispanic and Latinx populations. The study aimed to use the Multi-Theory Model (MTM) for health behavior change to explain the intention of initiating and sustaining the behavior of COVID-19 vaccination among the Hispanic and Latinx populations that expressed and did not express hesitancy towards the vaccine in Nevada. Using a quantitative cross-sectional and survey-based research study design, data were collected using a 50-item questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression modeling. Of 231 respondents, participatory dialogue (b = 0.113, p < 0.001; b = 0.072, p < 0.001) and behavioral confidence (b = 0.358, p < 0.001; b = 0.206, p < 0.001) displayed significant associations with the initiation of COVID-19 vaccine acceptance among vaccine-hesitant and non-vaccine-hesitant individuals. Emotional transformation (b = 0.087, p < 0.001; b = 0.177, p < 0.001) displayed a significant association with the sustenance of COVID-19 vaccine acceptance among vaccine-hesitant and non-vaccine-hesitant individuals. Results from this study provide evidence that the MTM is a useful tool in predicting COVID-19 vaccine acceptance behavior among Hispanics and Latinxs in Nevada, and it should be used in intervention designs and messaging to promote vaccine uptake. pondok ,ta'alim al-muta'allim ,value of life ,sustenance ,Education - Abstract
Institutions of traditional learning (pondok) are often considered as places to acquire the sciences of the hereafter. On the other hand, the statement seems to illustrate that the students brought up in the institution are not concerned with worldly matters. The learning curriculum is said not to care about the function of the mind but instead makes students passive and only follow what is presented by the teacher. Using a content analysis approach, this study pays attention to the content of the book Ta’alim Al-Muta’allim written by Imam Al-Zarnuji. This book is a guide for the citizens of traditional educational institutions whether in terms of curriculum, aspects of teaching and learning, and ethics of life. The main objective of this study is to see whether the use of the book can influence positive thinking and lifestyle that not only think about the question of the hereafter but also perform the responsibilities that need to be fulfilled in the world. The results of the study found that the content of the book not only focuses on educational practice, but also encourages students to earn a living but with good intentions, especially to increase knowledge. In other words, students are not taught to sideline worldly affairs but still need to be aware of worldly affairs but with a high awareness that every job must be based on the importance of worship and be able to meet the needs of the hereafter.

CIVIL service , *BURDEN of care , *AGING parents , *ADULT children , *ELDER care , *JUDGMENT sampling - Abstract
Adult children's support and financial assistance is crucial to the survival of the elderly. In this regard, civil officials must also shoulder the burden of care their elderly parents. However, they have encountered a number of difficulties in providing the sustenance to the elderly parents. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the difficulties faced by civil servants in providing sustenance to their elderly parents. Nine Malay and Muslim civil officials in grades 11 to 52 served as informants for this study, which employed a purposive sampling methodology. In-depth interviews, observations, and field notes are used to collect data. The study was conducted across multiple ministries and departments with nine informants who were government servants. According to the study's findings, there are two challenges faced by civil servants in providing sustenance for elderly parents, namely economic challenges (cost of children's education, cost livelihood and family financial planning) and social challenges (health problems, parental and family expectations and partner constraints). The conclusion of this study shows that every challenge faced has been met by civil servants, but more comprehensive intervention measures need to be refined in terms of policy, implementation and long-term assistance and support to avoid any conflict that may affect the productivity of civil servants in the future. OBEDIENCE (Law) ,PROOF of God ,FATE & fatalism ,RITES & ceremonies ,AFRICAN literature ,HUMAN beings - Abstract
In much of the literature concerning African theories of meaning, there are certain clues regarding what constitutes meaningfulness from an African traditional perspective. These are theories of meaning in life such as the African God's purpose theory, which locates meaning in the obedience of divine law and/or the pursuit of one's destiny; the vital force theory, which locates meaning in the continuous augmentation of one's vital force through the expression and receipt of goodwill, rituals and the worship of God; and what I will call the transcendent communal normative theories, where meaning is located in the positive contributions one makes to his/her society, whether as a human being or as an ancestor. I contend that all these theories have one thing in common that unifies them - and that is the legitimization of God's existence through the continued sustenance of the universe. This, I will show, constitutes the meaning of life (in cosmic terms) from an African traditional religious perspective. To argue for this thesis, I will first tease out the basic tenets of the previously described theories of meaning. I will then analyse the metaphysical underpinning of the African relational ontology and how it reflects on the subject of being. Finally, I will end by showing the role of the universe in legitimizing the existence of God as a thing in the world, and how that constitutes the meaning of life. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper assesses the relational effects of perceived organizational support (POS), fear of COVID-19 (FOC-19), and work-related stress (WRS) on the safety performance of healthcare staff. The sample for this research was extracted from the University College Hospital (UCH) in the Oyo State of Nigeria. The participants were midwives, doctors, auxiliary services staff, and nurses who functioned in a COVID-19 hospital ward, fever or respiratory ICU, Auxiliary services, or outpatient clinics. This investigation espoused a clinical crosssectional survey involving self-reported surveys. Of the 150 questionnaires distributed, 147 were fit for scrutiny and analyzed with Statistical Packages for the Social Sciences (SPSS version 28). This paper established a relationship between POS and safety performance (SP). Besides, it showed a significant positive correlation between FOC-19 and SP. It further noted that workrelated stress negatively relates to safety performance. Moreover, this study showed the significant joint strong influence of POC, FOC-19, and WRS on the safety performance of healthcare workers. Hence, healthcare institutions are encouraged to create adequate support for healthcare workers, particularly during a global health crisis. Government and healthcare institutions should also develop an awareness program on the danger and consequences of getting infected by the virus or infecting other significant others. This will increase the fear of COVID-19 and, consequently, health workers’ safety performance. Besides, it is recommended that the management of healthcare institutions provides a proper work structure and schedule to help reduce workloads, consequently reducing WRS, as lowering it improves healthcare workers’ safety performance. Background: Screen-time (ST) is the time spent on digital media. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends the daily ST of less than an hour for preschoolers. However, increased ST among preschoolers is becoming a public health concern. Objective: This study assessed the multi-theory model (MTM)'s applicability in explaining the ST behavior change among preschoolers through parents. Methods: A quota sample of 72 parents was drawn from Northern India. Data were analyzed using multiple regression. Results: Behavioral confidence (p < 0.001) and changes in the physical environment (p < 0.001) significantly predicted the initiation of reducing ST. The sustenance of limiting ST was significantly predicted by the emotional transformation (p < 0.001), practice for change (p < 0.001), and changes in the social environment (p = 0.001). Conclusions: The study highlights the usability of the MTM model in designing and testing interventions for parents to limit ST among their children. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Covid-19 pandemic has generated shocks that have affected the global economy. The study examined perceived changes in food security as well as finances and revenue of rural and urban households during Covid-19 pandemic in Nigeria. Data were sourced from the National Longitudinal Phone Survey executed between April and June 2020 by the National Bureau of Statistics in collaboration with the World Bank. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square test. Findings revealed 83 percent of urban households and 78 percent in rural were food insecure. About 83 percent of rural households and 79 percent of Urban perceived Covid-19 pandemic as a threat to household finances. Household finances dropped for 29.3 percent of urban and 31.5 percent of rural households while 30.5 percent of urban and 20.0 percent of rural households who operate family business had no revenue at all. The study concluded that the pandemic has worsened the food security situation of both rural and urban households and has also adversely affected rural and urban household finances. Given a new surge in the epidemic, the government should take cognizance of the disparities in the context in which the pandemic affects the rural and urban households in Nigeria.

In the study reported on here we investigated factors impeding the stimulation and sustenance of students’ interest in the acquisition of psycho-productive skills in senior secondary school agricultural science. We used the classical design for change experiments or before-after measures as the research design. Two methods of teaching, namely demonstration and conventional teaching were used with the experimental and control groups (87 subjects) from 2 schools in the Ijebu-East Local Government Area, Ogun State, Nigeria. A self-reporting scale exposed the students’ perceptions of limiting factors such as seeing agriculture as a dirty job, a school subject meant for never-to-do-well, dull students, and as punishment for erring students. Of the 12 factors listed as stimulating and sustaining students’ interest, the subjects identified 8 as limiting ones. The results from the mean, standard deviation and t-test indicate that there was significant difference between the factors identified by the experimental and control groups. The results also reveal that there was a significant difference in the factors identified by male and female subjects. This could have been as a result of gender stereotyping regarding agricultural practices in some parts of the study area. It was suggested, among others, that the agricultural science teacher should make efforts to incorporate innovative teaching approaches like demonstration methods in classroom practice coupled with infusion of practical periods to enhance psycho-productive skills acquisition. The vocational agriculture curriculum should include an approach to easily measure a combination of psycho-productive, affective and cognitive skills rather than mere cognitive skills.

- Abstract
In order to achieve the strategic level of military equipment exploitation, according to NATO requirements, it is necessary to continuously adapt the specific maintenance activities. The main objectives pursued in the maintenance system modernization process are: to implement reliability-based maintenance, to use management methods, to present the functional scheme, and to identify the critical points in which to intervene with maintenance operations. The use of the Pareto method in the direction research studied in the paper estimates that the first two faults among those identified, namely the imbalance of the braking force on the axle and the defective service brake, represent a significant percentage of the total downtime of the Roman-DAC trucks used for the present study. According to the AMDEC data sheet, these two defects have a criticality index of 70 and 60, respectively, compared to the following identified defects, which present a criticality index of 18 and 20, respectively. In practice, the aim will be to eliminate, in particular, the identified causes that entail defects in the first and second categories. Using this research methodology, and by extrapolation to all technical equipment components, it is possible to identify solutions to improve preventive maintenance by ranking defects and performing maintenance operations on those components more often subject to damage, before they fail. This study aimed to reveal the meaning of the word ar-rizq alongside its variants in the Qur'an. Also, this study sought to know the doors of sustenance resting upon the signs in the Qur'an. This study used a thematic method (mawdhu'i) with the term and conceptual thematic model in order to reveal the doors of sustenance from the Qur’anic verses associated with the term ar-rizq. The primary data of this study were the Qur’anic data, namely the Qur’anic verses closely associated with the word ar-rizq in the form of clauses, phrases, and words. Meanwhile, the secondary data were in the form of notions, ideas, and interpretations of the interpreters. The results of this study indicated that the word ar-rizq with its variants is repeated 123 times in the Qur'an, namely 61 times in the form of fi'il and 62 times in the form of isim, which are scattered in 41 Surahs in the Qur'an. The meaning of ar-rizq is all gifts from Allah to all His creatures. Subsequently, the doors of sustenance based on the Qur’anic signs include: guaranteed sustenance, sustenance earned through efforts, sustenance due to istighfar, sustenance due to gratitude to Allah, sustenance for giving alms, and sustenance for devotion to Allah.

Introduction: Smoking and use of other tobacco products are a global public health threat. The objective of the study was to predict the initiation and sustenance of smoking cessation (SC) by applying the multi-the- ory model (MTM) of health behavior change. Methods: In a cross-sectional study, the face-to-face interview was conducted by visiting different public places and coffee shops in Kathmandu Metropolitan, Nepal. A 30-item valid and reliable MTM-based survey instrument was administered to the participants who smoked cigarettes. Stepwise multiple regres- sions were conducted to explain SC behavior. The entire value of the Cronbach alpha coefficient (α) of the subscales and the scale was 0.91 which is excellent internal consistency. Results: A total of 132 participants completed the study (93.6%). The median age of participants was 35.53 years and 75% of them were males. The median number of cigarettes smoked per day was 7. Behavioral con- fidence (β = 0.06, P = 0.02) and changes in the physical environment (β = 0.11, P = 0.01) were significant predictors for the initiation of SC. Next, emotional transformation (β = 0.25, P < 0.001) was a significant predictor for sustenance for SC. Conclusion: MTM has the usefulness to assess both the initiation and sustenance behavior of SC. Poten- tial solutions using MTM constructs should be developed in future interventions to change behavior of SC.

WATER springs ,HYDROGEOLOGY ,SEPTIC tanks ,WATER quality ,SUSTAINABLE development ,HYDROLOGY ,FECAL contamination - Abstract
Springs are a significant source of high quality and perennial freshwater supply for remote communities and sustain rich biodiversity and ecosystems in the Himalayas. About 60–70% of the Himalayan population directly depends on springs to meet their domestic and livelihood needs. Despite that, decline in approximately 60% of low discharge springs have been reported in the last couple of decades. In addition, nitrates and faecal coliform contamination linked to septic tanks, open defecation, and fertiliser application have been reported. A high degree of urbanization with 500 growing townships and 8–10 large cities has further threatened the sustenance of these vital resources, causing a severe water crisis in the Himalayas. Spring rejuvenation can enhance water access and livelihoods and help achieve several sustainable development goals (SDGs). However, multiple challenges hinder the success of such initiatives. A fundamental limitation is the poor understanding of complex groundwater (spring) systems and their interactions with human societies. This review identified crucial knowledge gaps by synthesizing available knowledge on springs and revival efforts from peer-reviewed journals and reports by practitioners and governing bodies. The review also highlights the limitations of spring revival approaches and recommends future management options. There is a critical lack of comprehensive data as a large research on the Himalayan spring systems results from small-scale spring centric studies focussing primarily on hydrology. In contrast, the impacts of hydrogeology, ecology, socio-economics and developmental activities on springs are less explored. Lack of scientific inputs on the hydrogeological regime and limited support by the state is a barrier to scaling spring rejuvenation programs. Long term monitoring, location-specific mapping of local hydrogeological and socio-economic settings at aquifer scale and collaborations among different stakeholders are essential to facilitate holistic knowledge development on spring systems and successful spring revival. The authors recommend ensuring sustenance by recognizing the value of springs in the mainstream programs and policies and develop appropriate management framework for the management of spring systems. CULTURAL identity , *ARTIFICIAL intelligence , *INTERACTIVE art , *DEFINITIONS , *BREAD , *MIXED reality - Abstract
The complex relationship between the current advancement of technology, including the wide scope of settings at which machinery plays substantial roles, and the cultural, historical, and political realities that have long existed across the history of mankind, is one that deserves absolute attention and exploration. This interconnection has been investigated in light of bread, and the meaning it signifies to people from all over the world. Drawing on the commonly unnoticed value of bread, and the everlasting impregnable imprint it has always had on revolutions throughout history, "Collective Bread Diaries" came to being as an interactive art project, employing the artificial intelligence of the MTurk platform in its investigation of "bread" as one's peculiar voice and political statement. The author amongst other participants was granted the opportunity to draw and share personal visual representations of bread, eventually forming an array of visual diaries, each peculiar to its creator and each reflecting the cultural significance of the place from which it originated. The results are exceptionally reproduced drawings by a machine, with no apparent threads to culture, tradition, or history, emphasizes the conscious perception of one's distinct identity. A number of 100 distinct drawings were machine-generated featuring various bread types. The process eventually investigates one's perception of cultural identity, by exploring the cultural, socio-political, and religious threads that have long been weaved into the definition of "bread" across history. This article examines the phenomenon of nomadic reindeer herding in the Severnaia Sosva river basin. This kind of reindeer herding was borrowed from the tundra nomadic Nenets and widely spread in the taiga zone due to its potential as a new strategy of sustenance. The rapid economic development of the region in the XVIII–XIX centuries intensified the fur industry, which also stimulated the introduction of reindeer sledge as the optimum system of movement in the snow period. Thus, due to reindeer herding the Mansi of the Severnaia Sosva basin received a means of transport. There was a specialization of some households: «mobilization» that has led to some reconfiguration of settlement network and economic migrations. The reindeer mobility contributed to the establishment of close cooperation between the traditional types of land usage and contributed to the cultural and ethnic integration in the Severnaia Sosva basin. The reindeer mobility fully provided social communication in winter, ubiquity and increasing speed of communications facilitated extensive cultural contacts with the neighboring territories. The communication network based on reindeer mobility could act as a safety contour at crisis, which preserved variability of adaptation strategies. The system of reindeer mobility after several stages of reforms in the Soviet period lost its transport function. Skin and meat production of reindeer herding (Komi type) was a major and technically developed area, while social and cultural functions of the reindeer herding for indigenous peoples were ignored. The planned economy demanded only large reindeer herd economy of the Komi and small and disperse reindeer husbandry of the Mansi declined. The last private Mansi reindeer herding farms curtailed nomad practices in 1990-s due to the collapse of the socio-economic system of the district, part of which they were. The way of life of a reindeer herder was non-prestigious and difficult for the youth who grew up in Soviet villages. Social and economic network, based on reindeer mobility, did not receive an adequate replacement in the Soviet period, mechanized personal transport is still not affordable to everybody. It turned out that even a snowmobile can provide previous coverage of the space. Vehicles generally involve completely different ways of interaction between people and space. Paradoxically, the cultural isolation of the indigenous peoples of the Severnaia Sosva (Mansi, Komi, Nenets) to the end of the twentieth century increased, although they began to live in large multiethnic villages provided with telecommunications.
