- Abstract
The article first briefly overviews the most important books of the highly voluminous oeuvre of the Canadian literary critic Northrop Frye (1912-1991). They are the monograph on William Blake from 1947, Fearful Symmetry; then his most relevant book, Anatomy of Criticism from 1957, and three books about the Bible and literature: The Great Code (1982), Words with Power (1990) and The Double Vision (1991). They are first used to indicate the basis of Frye's thought (imaginational epistemology based on W. Blake); second, to indicate the central place of the kerygma in Frye's books on the Bible and literature; and third, to state what the kerygma actually is for Frye. Finally, a warning is given to the directiveness and the Gnosticism of Frye's interpretation of the kerygma. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

10. Za ili protiv transhumanizma? Stavovi i prediktori transhumanističke teorije i prakse studenata grada Zagreba

Transhumanizam karakterizira shvaćanje ljudske prirode dinamičnom i fleksibilnom te stoga prijemljivom za različita tehno-znanstvena poboljšanja. U ovom su radu empirijski istraživani stavovi i prediktori među studentima grada Zagreba (N=218) prema transhumanizmu. Iako većina ispitanika nije transhumanistički orijentirana, dio je pristao uz njemu karakteristične koncepcije ljudskoga tijela i svijesti uz otvorenost za više praktičnih poboljšanja. Najznačajnijim prediktorom prihvaćanja transhumanizma kod studenata pokazala se religioznost te prihvaćanje novih tehnologija i svjetonazor, slijedom čega je on profiliran kao sekularni, tehnološki i liberalni fenomen. Doprinos ovoga rada je u aktualiziranju teme o kojoj nema mnogo empirijskih uvida u hrvatskom društvu mapiranjem životno stilskoga obrasca pristalica i protivnika transhumanizma ne samo na teorijskoj, već i praktičnoj razini, čime je promaknut iz znanstvene fantastike u sferu svakodnevice naznačujući skromno, ali ipak prisutno približavanje studenata perspektivi transhumanizma čije društvene implikacije tek treba istražiti.

U članku se polazi od suvremenog dijagnosticiranja stanja u humanističkim znanostima u kojima je, prema Cliffordu Geertzu, došlo do »zamućivanja žanrova«. Zatim se, da bi se pokušalo uputiti u izvore promjena, osvrće na osnovne dvadesetostoljetne misaone tendencije. One se nastoje egzemplificirati ponajprije filozofijom Martina Heideggera te u znatno manjoj mjeri postmodernim tendencijama (Jacques Derrida, Giles Deleuze). U konačnici donosi se jedno novo upućivanje u humanistiku, zasnovano na kršćanskoj tradiciji. Pritom se polazi od novog, kršćanskog razumijevanja tjelesnosti.

13. Metafizička antropologija Tome Akvinskoga.

- Abstract
Anthropological thought of Thomas Aquinas, as the title itself indicates, is connected with his metaphysics in a sense that understanding of his anthropology presupposes the knowledge of the foundation of this metaphysical thought. In this article we will see notions such as potency and act, form and matter, essence and being (esse) being used as tools to explain the peculiar characteristics of human soul in relation to other forms and her relationship to human body. The first part of the paper represents a short overview of hierarchical order of beings in Thomistic cosmology in which a man takes a special place amongst two worlds: the material and the immaterial one. Thomas uses this as one of the explanations of the special characteristics of human being. The second part addresses the difference between the human soul in reference to animal and vegetative soul. Special attention is given to its autonomy and immortality and this chapter is followed by the one on the relationship between the body and the soul. Lastly, the final segment investigates the basics of Thomistic epistemology and intellect. From what has been said, it is clear that the goal of the article is to offer an overview of fundamental topics of Thomas´ anthropological thought. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Ishodištem je ovoga rada opažaj kako se pri čitanju tekstova o glazbi Rolanda Barthesa pojam slušanja često pojavljuje uz negativne konotacije. Do izražaja najviše dolazi slušanje kao pasivan i receptivan odnos prema glazbi u okvirima prosječne građanske kulture, kojemu Barthes suprotstavlja aktivnost (vlastita) amaterskog sviranja. U ovome se radu razmatra zašto je Barthesov stav prema slušanju kritičan i zašto on previđa mogućnost drugačijih modusa slušanja. Naposljetku se naznačuje kako je Barthesa ipak moguće shvatiti i kao nekoga tko sluša, a ne samo nekoga tko svira.

With his phenomenological hermeneutics, Paul Ricoeur had an important influence on Biblical exegesis. The article therefore, first, analyses his study, Biblical Hermeneutics (1975), which exemplify the main points of Ricoeur's hermeneutics and its application on Biblical texts. Although it is generally considered that this kind of hermeneutics is an important corrective to so-called structuralist ideology for which the autonomy of a text presupposes a complete termination of the referential dimension of language, the article points out that phenomenological hermeneutics is not sufficient and that it ignores the incarnational logic. Consequently, it suggests that Biblical hermeneutics needs to not only return the written text to discourse but also to point towards the Body, which is not a mere interpretative community, but an event of the »new creation «. We can ask whether there anything it is distinctively like to be female or male (a question about sex). And we can ask whether there anything it is distinctively like to be feminine or masculine (a question about gender). I think the answer to both these questions is “Obviously yes”. Why yes? And why obviously? Consciousness is gendered, and obviously gendered, because the political realities of what it is like to be masculine, and what it is like to be feminine, are distinctively different. Moreover, consciousness is sexed too, and obviously sexed, because the physical realities of what it is like to be male, and what it is like to be female, are distinctively different. And that is why the answer to our two questions is not just “Yes”, but “Obviously yes”., Možemo se pitati postoji li nešto specifično za to kako je biti žensko ili muško (pitanje o spolu). I možemo se pitati postoji li nešto specifično za to kako je to biti ženstven ili muževan (pitanje o rodu). Mislim da je odgovor na oba pitanja "Očito da". Zašto da? I zašto očito? Svijest je rodno određena i očito rodno određena, jer su političke stvarnosti onoga kako je to biti muževan i kako je to biti ženstven, različite. Osim toga, svijest je također seksualno određena i očito seksualno određena, jer su fizičke stvarnosti onoga kako je to biti muško i kako je to biti žensko, različite. I zato odgovor na naša dva pitanja nije samo "Da", već "Očito da".

- Abstract
In the history of philosophy, Thomas Aquinas represents one of the most systematic and fruitful thinkers of all time. His works encompass from metaphysical and cosmological, to ethical, aesthetical and epistemological discussions. In this article we wish to inquire into one of the many topics in anthropology which Thomas touched upon, and that is the question of passions. The purpose of this article is to show the outline of Thomas' teaching on passions and their respective relation. It is important to note that his teaching rests upon an understanding of a human being as a composite being which, by its nature, consists of body and soul therefore the first chapter covers exactly that, and it represents preliminary chapter for the subsequent ones which address passions. Passions, as we shall see, are divided into six concupiscible and five irascible passions. The final chapter describes the relationship between concupiscible and irascible passions and analyzes the passions individually. The conclusion offers a general overview of Thomas' anthropology as demonstrated in his teaching on passions, giving a special highlight to his understanding of man as a being composite of soul as a immaterial principle and body as a material principle, and their intimate union. An answer to the question who is the human being can be given from multiple perspectives. This article offers an answer from the point of view of Biblical anthropology by reflecting on the relation of the human being towards health and illness. According to the Holy Scriptures, a discourse on health and illness is not possible without the terminological background that points out the wholeness of the human being as a person. When the integral image of the human being as envisioned by the Scripture, whereby he/she is seen as the image of God (cf. Gen 1:27), is disturbed, the human being starts to disintegrate. This disintegration is brought about by sin and disturbance of the relation towards the Creator and the created world. Various illnesses that are mentioned in the Old Testament and the New Testament clearly manifest the consequences of aforementioned disturbed relations. A discourse on healers and healing, i.e., being brought back into wholeness, can also be found in Biblical texts. God is the healer par excellence and announces universal healing already in the Old Testament (Is 35:5-6a). Jesus's word in the New Testament reveals that the assent of faith is enough for someone to be healed. Jesus is the giver of life, but in a different perspective. Physical care for the body is important, but spiritual care is more important (cf. 1 Tim 4,8b). The soul–body–mind problem is an age–old question. Ever since Plato and pre– Stoics, many philosophers have tried to answer the questions of dependence and relationship between these “parts”. This paper is an overview of the theory of holons proposed by Arthur Koestler and its later implications in modern cinema, specifically the anime Ghost in the Shell. There are many issues that are current and related to the mind–body problem that arise from modern cinema and TV shows, but are usually neglected. In these shows and movies, we can find modern ideas about cyborgs and transhumanism, which were popularized by the mentioned anime. Most modern shows are closer to transhumanism and postmodernism and will therefore be mentioned only by name. Another issue that arises from modern cinema is individualism and egocentrism that is not focused on the transcendental or even the transcendent. The intention of this paper is to show that using Koestler’s ideas of holons we need to take into consideration a broader approach to transhumanism, and that it should not be focused only on the individual., Problem duša–um–tijelo, drevno je pitanje koje je mučilo mnoge filozofe. Još od Platona i predstoika mnogi su filozofi pokušavali odgovoriti na pitanja odnosa između tih “dijelova”. Ovaj rad je pregled teorije o holonima koju je predložio Arthur Koestler i njezinih implikacija u modernoj kinematografiji, posebno na primjeru anime filma Ghost in the Shell. Postoje mnoga pitanja koja su aktualna i povezana s problemom duha i tijela, a koja proizlaze iz moderne kinematografije i TV emisija, no obično su zanemarena ili previđena. U tim serijama i filmovima nalazimo suvremene ideje o kiborzima i transhumanizmu koje je spomenuti anime film popularizirao. Većina suvremenih serija bliža je transhumanizmu i postmodernizmu, no zbog opsega članka, biti će spomenute samo imenom. Drugi problem koji se nameće u modernoj kinematografiji je individualizam i egocentrizam koji nije usmjeren na transcendentalno ili čak transcendentno. Namjera ovog rada je pokazati da kroz Koestlerove ideje o holonima moramo uzeti u obzir širi pristup transhumanizmu, te da taj pristup ne smije biti fokusiran samo i isključivo na pojedinca.

Nadahnjujući se na gledištu pape Franje prema kojem je sport metafora života, postavlja se pitanje: koji su odnosi između vjere i sporta? Postoje li područja i ograničenja toj sinergiji? Sport može biti ključan za odgoj, jer omogućuje onome tko ga prakticira, osobito mladima, ali ne samo mladima, da se otvore događaju života, da kušaju prijeći granice, susrećući se s protivnikom na istoj razini, dajući više od sebe, otvarajući se, na neki način, onostranome. Sport ima moć poučavanja u pozitivnim vrijednostima; on obogaćuje življenje. Svaki od nas koji igramo, poučavamo, organiziramo i podupiremo sport, može se preobraziti preko sporta kao i da preobrazuje druge putem sporta. No postoje li preduvjeti da se to ostvari? Jesu li nužna načela na kojima se valja nadahnjivati? Može li vjera osvjetlati sport? I koji su odrazi na području odgoja? O tim pitanjima prigode za razmišljanje i svjedočenje ne manjkaju: sport je ‘askesis’, asketsko iskustvo, odnosno, djelovanje preobrazbe tijela i duha; sport je ‘paideia’, odnosno, opći odgoj; sport je put odgoja koji se ne temelji na uvođenju, nego na e-ducere, izvlačenju onoga što u osobi postoji; sport je natjecanje u kojem cum-patere znači zajedničko traganje za ciljem.

According to philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy, the contingency of our naked experience as an ontological question is the main challenge of our existence in contemporary global society. Applying film anthropology methods, the paper interprets Claire Denis’ films as films that dissolve identities, boundaries and body. The French cineaste floats between cold distancing, voyeurism, and curiosity for outsiders of all kinds, losers prone to different forms of transgression, misfits on the verge of Western societies. While the act of directing comes through the body, Denis’ characters move through big cities and exotic landscapes as if they were not actually present, they exist in a crack, between several worlds. After the introductory contextualisation, the article first explains Hans Frei's claim that the 18th and the 19th century Biblical hermeneutics led to the»eclipse«of literal reading of the Biblical narrative, due to its apologetic-interpretative efforts (interpre-tation of the Bible by interpretative theories based on the rationalistic canon and historical factualness). After that, tools and concepts (»realistic narrative«,»narrative identity«, consensual interpretation) that Frei used to interpret literal meaning of Biblical narratives are pointed out. Finally, the conclusion presents advantages and disadvantages of Frei's project and the authorship claim, based on the patristic-medieval exegetical tradition and completely ignored by Frei, that the Word of God is not only the text (Bible), linguistic presentation of God, but also the corpus, the physical presence of God. Manfred Lütz, a psychiatrist and theologian, speak about one of the key problems of modern society, and that is the relationship of contemporary man toward health. M. Lütz primarily addresses his message to a healthy people who tends to divinize health as supreme value. Health is turning into religion and such sacralisation of health care is accompanied by complete commercialization of the health care system. This process is facilitated by the glorification of health, medical science, physicians, and achievements in pharmacal industry. With his theses, he revitalizes the ancient Greek belief that excessive care for health is also a kind of sickness. Similar thought regarding health and illness we found in Works od I. Illich, H.-G. Gadamer, Z. Bauman and others., Manfred Lütz, psihijatar i teolog, govori o jednom od ključnih problema suvremenog društva, a to je odnos suvremenog čovjeka prema zdravlju. Lütz svoju poruku primarno upućuje društvu koje je sklono divinizirati zdravlje kao vrhunsku vrijednost. Zdravlje se pretvara u religiju, a takvu sakralizaciju zdravstva prati i potpuna komercijalizacija zdravstvenog sustava. Taj proces olakšan je glorificiranjem zdravlja, medicinske znanosti, liječnika i dostignuća u farmaceutskoj industriji. Svojim tezama revitalizira starogrčko vjerovanje da je i pretjerana briga za zdravlje svojevrsna bolest. Sličnu misao o zdravlju i bolesti nalazimo u djelima I. Illicha, H.-G. Gadamera, Z. Baumana i drugih.

Ovaj se članak ograničava na promatranje temeljnih značenja i funkcija stida iz jedne čisto moralnoteološke perspektive. Budući daje riječ o vrlo složenoj temi ifenomenu, autor nastoji prije svega definirati sam pojam stida i time barem približno naznačiti njegovu vrijednosnu i sadržajnu komponentu. Osvrće se potom na njegovo često reducirano razumijevanje tjekom povjesti, ističući posebno stalnu težnju, gotovo potrebu, da ga se s jedne strane radikalno niječe, a s druge strane neumorno afirmira Upravo ta oprečna nastojanja i stavovi prema stidu, kako u povijesti tako i danas, nukaju autora na otkrivanje njegovih temeljnih zadaća i funkcija, pitajući se pritom jesu li one zaista pozitivne ili negativne, konstruktivne ili destruktivne, na korist osobi i društvu ili su na njihovu štetu? Ambivalentnost stida i mogućnost njegova falsificiranja potiču na moralnu prosudbu onih pona.šanja koja redovito nazivamo “povredama stida”. U zakjučnom djelu rada autor se dotiče sasvim načelno i panoramski određenih pitanja i dilema koji se najčešće dovode u svezu s pojmom stida.

Antun Branko Šimić hrvatski je ekspresionistički književnik. U njegovu opusu posebno mjesto zauzimaju manifesti u kojima je jasno odredio svoju poetiku i literarna nastojanja. U pjesničkim ostvarajima Šimićevi interesi polaze od individualno-psiholoških prema onim socijalno motiviranim, a kao dominantne se teme ističu Bog, tijelo, smrt i ljubav. Pjesnička zbirka Preobraženja objavljena 1920. organizirana je oko navedenih dominantnih tema koje se tiču čovjekove egzistencije, a mogu ih pojmiti samo pjesnici i tako postići spoznanje biti, esencije života te se svojim stvaranjem spasiti od prolaznosti i konačne smrti. Antun Branko Šimić is a Croatian expressionist writer. Manifestos which clearly define his poetics and literary endeavors are a special part of his oeuvre. In his poetic creations, Šimić's interests range from individual-psychological to socially motivated, while the dominant themes are God, body, death and love. The poetry collection Preobraženja, published in 1920, is organized around the mentioned dominant themes concerning human existence, and this can only be understood by poets, who can thus achieve the revelation of being and the essence of life, which will save oneself from transience and final death through one's process of creation.

Cilj ovog diplomskog rada je prikazati sintezu nepravedno zanemarenih aspekata tjelesnosti u Braći Karamazovima Fjodora Mihajloviča Dostojevskog. Tjelesni aspekti nadopunjuju i potvrđuju odrednice piščeve poetike, pri čemu imaju važnu ulogu u karakterizaciji junaka, njihovom razvoju unutar romana, kao i njihovim odnosima s drugim likovima. U teorijskom dijelu rada predstavlja se širok pojam tjelesnosti, koji se potom sužava na prikaz tijela u tekstu te tijela u ruskoj književnosti i kulturi. Nakon razmatranja potencijalnih tjelesnih aspekata u stvaralaštvu Dostojevskog slijedi analiza tjelesnosti u Braći Karamazovima podijeljena u tri dijela: specifičnosti tijela i tjelesnog ponašanja glavnih likova, gestualnost s posebnim naglaskom na geste poljupca i klanjanja i na njihovu ulogu u romanu, te naposljetku, patologiju tijela, koja uključuje analizu fizičkih manifestacija groznice, epilepsije i histerije te završava raspadajućim tijelom. The aim of this thesis is to present a synthesis of unfairly neglected aspects of corporeality in The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Mihajlovich Dostoyevsky. Bodily aspects help to complement and reaffirm the determinants of the writer's poetics, as they play an important role in the characterisation of heroes, their development within the novel, as well as in their relationships with other characters. In the theoretical part of the thesis, a broad concept of corporeality is presented, which is then specified to the representation of the body in the text and the body in Russian literature and culture. The consideration of the potential physical aspects in Dostoevsky's writings is followed by the analysis of corporeality in The Brothers Karamazov, which is divided into three sections: specific characteristics of the body and the physical behavior attributed to the main characters, gesturality with a special emphasis on the kiss and bowing gestures, and their role within the novel; and finally, the pathology of the body, which includes an analysis of the physical manifestations of fever, epilepsy and hysteria; and ends with the decaying body.

Tetovaže su prisutne u ljudskoj populaciji od davnine. U životu plemenskih kultura imale su višestruko značenje. Članovi plemena tim su ritualom postajali ravnopravni članovi zajednice, stjecali su društveni rang, funkciju, pokazali da su sposobni podnositi bol, a pleme je postalo dobro definirano i prepoznatljivo. To je imalo sličan učinak i na pojedine njegove članove, pomažući im u razvijanju identiteta. U 20. stoljeću taj su način obilježavanja preuzeli članovi uličnih bandi i kriminalnih organizacija radi grupne identifikacije, a u zadnja dva desetljeća postao je globalni modni trend, koji je preko američke subkulture zahvatio i velik dio europske populacije. Ipak, judaizam, kršćanstvo i islam kao vjerski pravni sustavi ne gledaju blagonaklono na tetovaže kao oblik oštećivanja tijela. U ovom radu prikazujemo stajališta ta tri pravna sustava o tetovažama., The tattooing of human skin has been practised since ancient times. Tattoos had multiple meanings in tribal cultures. The ritual rendered the members of the tribe equal members of the community, advanced their social rank, allowed them to carry out new functions, and was a demonstration of their ability to endure pain; also, the tribe was defined and made recognizable as a result of its rituals. Rituals similarly affected individual members for they helped identity development of both the individual and the community. The custom was adopted by sailors and brought by them to Western civilization, while this type of „marking” had long existed in the East. In the beginning, sailors, prostitutes, slaves and convicts were tattooed. In mid–twentieth century tattooing was taken over by American street gangs from Japanese yakuza clans. It finally became a global fashion trend in recent decades and came to affect a large part of the European population through the American subculture. Yet Judaism, Christianity, and Islam — as religious legal systems — do not view this form of bodily self–harm favourably. Believers — be they Christians, Jews or Muslims — see the human body and face as a gift from God and therefore no correction thereof (excepting medical interventions) — tattooing in particular — may be performed. In this paper the views on tattooing of these three legal systems are presented.

Diplomskim radom Prvo crnkinja, a potom žena nastoji se prokazati problematičnost društveno-političke pozicije u kojoj su već stoljećima zarobljene američke crnkinje. Smještene na sjecištu rasizma i seksizma, mnoge su Afroamerikanke tijekom povijesti utočište pronalazile u glazbi, gotovo jedinoj platformi putem koje su mogle doprijeti do šire javnosti te s njom podijeliti svoja razmišljanja, osjećaje i iskustva. Cilj ovog rada jest raspetljati složene čvorove između crnačke glazbe, tijela i identiteta, počevši od života u ropstvu tijekom kojeg je glazba zauzimala središnje mjesto u izgradnji identiteta i evociranju afričkog nasljeđa među robovima pa sve do suvremene hip-hop kulture u kojoj se doprinos crnačkih glazbenica nepravedno zapostavlja i diskreditira. Naglasak je pritom stavljen na specifično iskustvo i perspektivu američkih crnkinja iz radničke klase te na njihov odnos prema seksualnosti, feminizmu i borbi protiv institucionaliziranog rasizma, rekonstruiran pažljivim slušanjem i proučavanjem crnačke glazbe i tekstova pjesama.

Prema riječima Svetog pisma čovjek je stvoren kao muško i žensko na sliku Božju. U redu stvaranja čovjek je uzdignut iznad svega drugog stvorenog. Njegovo dostojanstvo, kao muško i žensko uzdignuto je. Čovjek je imao slobodu izbora. Kao osoba slobodan je svim stvorenim vladati i sebi podložiti. U svojoj slobodi, prvi čovjek mogao je izabrati i ono što mu ne pripada. Grijeh je tako čovjekovim izborom ušao u svijet. Time je narušeno čovjekovo dostojanstvo i cjelokupni red. Tamo gdje je u početku vladao red i nije bilo narušeno dostojanstvo čovjeka kao muška i ženska, nakon grijeha ušao je nered u svijet. Iskrivljena je slika muškarca i žene. Njihovo zajedništvo sada biva obilježeno požudom. To znači da u njihovom zajedništvu ne vlada sloboda koja želi dobro drugoga radi njega samoga, već se želi drugoga samo radi sebe. Krist je svojom žrtvom ovo stanje obnovio. Čovjeku je vraćena milost po kojoj on ponovo može živjeti kao na početku, prema izvornom Stvoriteljevom naumu. Tako je sada čovjek novi otkupljeni stvor. Zajedništvo muškarca i žene je novo. Ponovo mu je vraćeno dostojanstvo. Međutim zbog grijeha, otkupljeni čovjek sklon je ponovo griješiti. A ono osnovno što grijeh želi narušiti je slika Božja u svijetu. According to the Holy Scriptures, the man was created as male and female in the image of God. Thus it gives man a likeness only to God. The man was elevated above all other creations. His dignity, as a man and a woman, is elevated. The man had freedom of choice. As a person, he is free to rule and subjugate all creation. In his freedom, the first man could choose what did not belong to him. Sin thus entered the world by man's choice. This violated human dignity and overall order. Where at the beginning there were order and the dignity of man as male and female were not violated, after sin, disorder entered the world. The image of a man and a woman is distorted. Their union is now marked by lust. This means that in their community no freedom wants the good of the other for its own sake, but that the other is wanted only for its own sake. Christ restored this state with his sacrifice. Man has been given back the grace by which he can live again as in the beginning, according to the Creator's original plan. So now man is a new redeemed creature. The union of man and woman is new. His dignity was restored. However, because of sin, redeemed man is prone to sin again. And the basic thing that sin wants to damage is the image of God in the world.

Diplomski rad temelji se na analizi umjetničkog procesa izvođačice s habitusom suvremenog plesnog izričaja u radu i izvedbi predstave Pakao Dantea Alighierija. Redatelj Ivan Leo Lemo postavio je Pakao kao uprizorenu pripovijest putovanja glavnog lika Dantea – pripovjedača, i njegovog učitelja i vođe Vergilija. Kroz (čitavu) predstavu ansambl iznosi likove, bića, pojave i prostorne manifestacije dominantno tijelom i pokretom. Unatoč temeljnog fizičkog izričaja ansambla, predstava se temelji na pristupu dramaturgiji u dramskim okvirima čiji je nositelj tekstualni predložak, odnosno govor. Cilj ovoga rada pronalazak je zajedničkog nazivnika pristupu i radu na pokretu iz glumačkog i plesačkog diskursa kako bi se postigao izražajni sklad suvremene plesačice s kolegama glumcima unutar ansambla. Usporedbom ove dvije perspektive pronalaze se zajednički aspekti stvaranja i realizacije pokreta te uočava primjena govornih dijaloga kao sastavnog obilježja kretanja. Uvid u dramski pristup temelji se na iskustvu rada na izvedbenim kolegijima studijskog programa Neverbalnog teatra. Spoznaja i integracija pojma dramske radnje izdvaja se kao ključan čimbenik uz primjenu Labanove analize pokreta kao alata, s naglaskom na područje efforta. This thesis is based on the performer's artistic process within the contemporary dance habitus in the work on and performance of the play Hell by Dante Alighieri. The director Ivan Leo Lemo presented Hell as a staged narrative of the journey undertaken by Dante as the protagonist and narrator, and Vergil as his mentor and guide. Throughout the whole play the ensemble dominantly portrays the characters, creatures, apparitions and spatial manifestations by using their bodies and movement. Despite a fundamentally physical expression of the ensemble, the play is based on the approach to dramaturgy within a dramatic framework whose carrier is the text itself, i.e. speech. The aim of this thesis is finding a common denominator to approaching and working on the movement arising from both the actors’ and the dancer's discourse in order to achieve a harmony of expression between the contemporary dancer and her fellow actors within the ensemble. The comparison of these two perspectives reveals some common aspects of movement creation and realization, and recognizes the use of spoken dialogues as inherent to movement. The insight into the dramatic approach is based on the experience of working on performance courses of the Nonverbal Theatre study programme. The knowledge and integration of the notion of dramatic action stands out as the key factor with the application of Laban's movement analysis as the tool, with an emphasis on the field of effort.

Motiv ženskog tijela u umjetnosti i fotografiji je od samih početaka prisutan, no u ovom radu cilj je objasniti kako su žene počele koristiti akt kao oružje društva supresije, društva koje je oduvijek slikalo i fotografiralo žene radi vlastitog užitka, koje ih je stavljalo u kontekst objekta. Upravo zbog toga su se rodile ideje, pokreti i snažne žene, umjetnice koje su našle način kako slaviti svoje tijelo, kako ga koristiti kao oružje, kako ga koristiti kao poruku i kako vladati njime u pretežito muškom svijetu. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati umjetnice diljem svijeta koje su se svojim tijelom bavile kao prenositeljem poruke, te prikazati vlastitu interpretaciju kroz fotografije. The motif of the female body in art and photography has been present from the very beginning, but in this paper the aim is to explain how women began to use their body as a weapon in a society of suppression, a society that has always painted and photographed women as objects. That is why ideas, movements and strong women were born, artists who found a way to celebrate their body, how to use it as a weapon, how to use it as a message and how to rule it in a predominantly male world. The purpose of this study is to show artists around the world who have dealt with their bodies as transmitters of the message, and to show my own interpretation through photographs.

41. REFEREES' SIGNALS AS A FORM OF NONVERBAL COMMUNICATION IN TEAM SPORTS

Cilj je rada bio prikupiti i analizirati sudačke neverbalne znakove tijelom u ekipnim sportovima nastalim dominantno, ali ne isključivo na engleskom govornom području, i to: a) u ekipnim sportovima izvorno nastalim u Europi, b) u ekipnim sportovima izvorno nastalim u Sjevernoj Americi te c) u ekipnim sportovima izvedenim iz sportova izvorno nastalih u Europi. Pritom su se nastojali odrediti obrasci po kojima se prikupljeni sudački znakovi mogu grupirati s obzirom na temeljno značenje koje im je zajednički nazivnik. Uzorak se entiteta sastojao od 287 sudačkih znakova tijelom prikupljenih prema pravilima igre ukupno deset sportova: nogomet, rukomet, ragbi, kriket, hokej na travi, košarka, odbojka, bejzbol, američki nogomet te hokej na ledu. Pokazalo se da znakovi košarkaških sudaca imaju najveću korelaciju sa znakovima iz svih ostalih sportova, bilo da su u pitanju slični ili potpuno različiti sportovi. Iznenađujuće je da hokej na ledu svojim sudačkim znakovljem ima najviše sličnosti s po mnogočemu potpuno drugačijim sportom, i to košarkom. The aim of this paper was to collect and analyse referees' bodily nonverbal signals from team sports originating predominantly but not exclusively from the English-speaking areas: a) team sports originating from Europe, b) teams sports originating from North America, and c) team sports derived from sports originally from Europe. The intention was to identify the grouping patterns of referees’ signals with regard to the meaning as the common denominator of those signals. The sample was comprised of 287 referees' bodily signals collected according to the rules of the total of 10 sports: football (soccer), handball, rugby, cricket, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, baseball, American football and ice hockey. It seems that the basketball referees' signals had the highest correlation with signals from all other sports, regardless of whether these sports were either similar or completely different. Surprisingly, in terms of its referees' signals, ice hockey was the most similar to a sport actually very different from ice hockey, namely, basketball.

Rad „Dan po dan“ propituje problem tjelesnog dismorfnog poremećaja koji uz zamišljene preuveličane mane osobama uzrokuje otežano društveno funkcioniranje. Na početku rada daje se uvid u poremećaj pomoću stručne literature i vlastitih primjera. Sadrži 100 autoportreta kojima pratim svoje stanje u periodu od nekoliko mjeseci. Osnovna ideja rada je suočavanje i osvješćivanje navedenog problema. Naposljetku se nalazi tehnička razrada djela. Kako je rad osmišljen kao vrsta samopomoći, posjeduje terapeutski učinak s ciljem da pomogne osobama sa sličnim problemom. The work "Day by Day" presents the problem of body dysmorphic disorder, which, along with imagined exaggerated flaws, causes difficulties in social functioning. At the beginning of the paper, an insight into the disorder is given using professional literature and own examples. It contains 100 self-portraits with which I monitor my condition over a period of several months. The basic idea of the work is to face and raise awareness of the mentioned problem. Finally, there is the technical elaboration of the work. As the work is designed as a type of self-help, it has a therapeutic effect with the aim of helping people with a similar problem.

Osim osnovne zadaće da tijelo opskrbi mikro i makronutrijentima, mnoge vrste hrane mogu imati i različite druge pozitivne učinke na ljudsko zdravlje. Jedan od primjera je soja (Glycine max L.) koja sadrži spojeve koji su poznati pod nazivom fitoestrogeni te prema istraživanjima mogu imati različite učinke na zdravlje. U ovom radu date su informacije o soji kao jednom od najvažnihih izvora fitoestrogena u ljudskoj prehrani te su navedeni najčešći fitoestrogeni, njihovi izvori i kemijske strukture. U drugom dijelu rada dati je prikaz istraživanja o utjecaju fitoestrogena na zdravlje žena, posebice na bolesti endometriozu, karcinom dojke te na ublažavanje simptoma povezanih s menopauzom. Također dati je prikaz dodataka prehrani na bazi soje koji sadrže fitoestrogene.

Prateći paralelno dvije struje – teorijsko i umjetničko istraživanje ličnog i kolektivnog u nacionalnom i kulturnom identitetu sa jedne strane, te njihove manifestacije kroz studiju slučaja u vidu umjetničkog djela scenskog dizajna – performativna izložba „Ko bi Bog u Bosni bio?“ sa druge, postavljen je okvir za formulisanje kandidatovog viđenja scenskog dizajna kao nove umjetničke prakse, njegove definicije, metodologije i opsega primjene., The scope of the dissertation “Exploring Individual and Collective Identity in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Scene Design Art Work” covers the aspects and relations of the individual and the collective identity in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Following the parallels between the two lines of analysis – theoretical and artistic research of the personal and the collective within national and cultural identities on one hand, as well as their manifestations, through the case study of the scene design art work – performative exhibition “Ko bi Bog u Bosni bio?” (“Who would be God in Bosnia?”) on the other, a framework is laid for the formulation of thecandidate’s view of scene design as a new art form, its definition, methodology and the range of practice.

45. Space and the Articulation of Monstrosity within Popular Culture

The dissertation analyzes the interrelation among places and monstrous selves in popular culture narratives. It is divided into four distinct chapters dealing with specific spatial concepts – the first chapter focuses on the concept of the city, the second on the concept of the house, the third on the concept of the body, observed as a spatial construct, and the fourth on the concept of non-place. Even though the four chapters construe different theoretical frameworks through which to analyze specific spatial concepts, they are united in their tendency to study the inextricability of said concepts and individual subjects. Studying such an interrelation presupposes the positioning of place as a relational category, continuously constructed and reconstructed by individual interactions. Therefore, the basic premise that permeates the first three chapters of the dissertation is based on human geography’s premise that spaces are transformed into places by means of inscribing individual meaning and on phenomenology’s positioning of place as affective or, more precisely, as always already partial. Yet, the dissertation is not primarily interested in the inscription of oneiric experiences only but, since it is analyzing the interrelation among places and monstrous selves, in the covertly dislodged content of the unconscious. Thus, the first three chapters consider what happens when the individual is a transgressor, a morally depraved or degenerate monster, whose inscribed content clearly invalidates both phenomenology’s and human geography’s premise. Conversely, the dissertation’s final chapter discusses the concept of non-place that has consistently eluded critical engagement in the context of popular culture. It contends that the dissolution of one’s determinants upon entering a particular non-place provides for absolute anonymity, identity loss, and ensuing role-play (Augé 103), enabling one’s aggressive acting-out, defined as the destructive discharge of the death drives’ phenomenon of sadism. Finally, the dissertation’s chapters delineate different theoretical frameworks that could be implemented to investigate relationships among spatial concepts and articulations of monstrosity, an area of research that remains largely uninvestigated. Ova se doktorska disertacija bavi međupovezanosti različitih prostornih koncepata i artikulacije monstruoznosti na primjeru narativa popularne kulture. Nakon uvodnog poglavlja koje predstavlja osnovne teorijske postavke koje će se koristiti kroz čitavu disertaciju, rad je podijeljen na četiri poglavlja, od kojih se prvo odnosi na koncept grada, drugo na koncept kuće, treće na koncept tijela, koje se promatra kao prostorni konstrukt, te četvrto na koncept nemjesta (non-place). Prvo poglavlje, „Spatiality and the City”, proučava koncept grada. S obzirom na to da koncept grada podrazumijeva široki spektar raznovrsnih artikulacija, posebna pozornost je usmjerena na fin de siècle London koji koegzistira kao sigurno mjesto pripadnosti i zastrašujući prostor tjeskobe. Spomenuta dvojnost se proučava na primjeru romana Stephena Huntera I, Ripper (2016) i televizijske serije Richarda Warlowa Ripper Street (2012-2016). Na temelju teorijskih postavki Yi-Fu Tuana i Juliana Wolfreysa, poglavlje prikazuje kako spomenuti narativi nanovo otkrivaju grad s kraja 19. stoljeća tako što ocrtavaju njegovu dvostruku artikulaciju. Poglavlje zatim posebnu pozornost usmjerava na književni lik flâneura. Na temelju teorijskih postavki Charlesa Baudelairea, Waltera Benjamina, i Toma McDonougha, flâneur se ne pozicionira kao pasivni promatrač, već kao pojedinac koji aktivno utječe na svoju okolinu. Nadalje, studije podcrtavaju preobrazbu Thomasa Darea i Edmunda Reida koji nisu koncipirani kao arhetipski flâneuri. Dare je pozicioniran kao vrebač, to jest, serijski ubojica, a Reid kao detektiv čiji obrasci ponašanja upućuju na njegovu povezanost sa zločinom. S jedne strane, poglavlje tvrdi kako su Reidove moralno upitne prakse direktna posljedica dvostruke artikulacije grada koja zahtijeva dvije vrste ponašanja koje osciliraju između poštovanja zakona i naklonjenosti zločinu, dok Dareove prakse, s druge strane, iniciraju njegovu transformaciju u serijskog ubojicu. U konačnici, glavni argument dvaju potpoglavlja jest da moralno monstruozni pojedinci koji krše socijalne paktove, to jest, valoriziraju vlastite interese iznad društveno propisanih normi, tokom ubojstava i tjelesnih sakaćenja upisuju označitelja monstruoznosti na površinu East Enda. Oslanjajući se na teorijske postavke Marka Lukića i Tijane Parezanović, koji tvrde kako serijski ubojice podrivaju mjesta pomoću upisa agresivnih nagona (6), i postavki fenomenologije i humane geografije koje tvrde kako mjesta ne postoje prije postupka pojedinačnog upisa, poglavlja naglašavaju kako označitelj monstruoznosti ne može biti apriorno svojstvo mjesta. Odnos između East Enda i kriminalaca koji ga nastanjuju je cikličan. Drugim riječima, kriminalac ne čini grad sudionikom u inscenaciji kriminalnog ponašanja (Wolfreys, Inventions of the City 9) jer svaki susret između monstruoznog subjekta i mjesta najavljuje neizbrisiv upis neoniričkog sadržaja. Stoga, vremenski uvjeti i arhitektonska obilježja East Enda omogućuju artikulaciju moralne monstruoznosti koja, pak, konstruira taj isti prostor kao monstruozan. Drugo poglavlje, „Haunted Domestic Space“, proučava koncept uklete kuće. Na primjeru romana Richarda Mathesona Hell House (1959) i televizijske serije The Haunting of Hill House (2018) Mikea Flanagana, potpoglavlja ukazuju na to kako su uklete kuće projekcije ne-oniričkog upisa njihovih izvornih vlasnika. Potpoglavlja naglašavaju kako arhitektonska obilježja kuća nisu unheimlich sama po sebi. Unheimlich nije isključivo estetski, već i psihološki fenomen koji je uvijek unaprijed ovisan o subjektu. Na temelju Vidlerovog čitanja prije spomenutog koncepta Sigmunda Freuda, potpoglavlja pozicioniraju unheimlich kao osjećaj otuđenja koji je izazvan projekcijom ne-oniričkog sadržaja izvornog vlasnika na kuću, koja ga sadržava kao stalno svojstvo. Kako bi se projekcija definirala kao namjerni upis koji je kuću inicijalno transformirao u afektivnu akumulaciju individualnog značenja, Vidlerovo čitanje je povezano s teorijskim postavkama fenomenologije i humane geografije koje čine polazišnu točku interpretativnog smjera disertacije. Potpoglavlja stoga tvrde kako su Emeric Belasco i Poppy Hill u potpunosti potkopali Bachelardovu percepciju prostora kao sigurnog utočišta, te pokrenuli proklizavanje između označitelja sigurnosti heimlicha, i njegove antiteze, unheimlicha. Unatoč tendenciji da se Belasco i Hill inicijalno pozicioniraju kao klišeizirani, onozemaljski entiteti, potpoglavlja smatraju kako su zadržali značajke moralne monstruoznosti zbog njihove odluke da svjesno progone stanovnike obiju kuća u svrhu postizanja vlastitog zadovoljstva. Konačno, potpoglavlja pokazuju kako odnos Belasca, Poppy i dviju kuća nije jednostran već cikličan upravo zato što ih zlorabe kao instrumente sa svrhom pokoravanja novih stanovnika, to jest, uljeza. Dok Belasco koristi kuću kao pozornicu na koju projicira obrise naizgled samosvjesnih entiteta kako bi potaknuo povratak potisnutih instinktivnih impulsa stanovnika, Poppy se poigrava njihovim neprocesuiranim traumama kako bi ih indirektno natjerala da počine ubojstva i samoubojstva. Konačno, potpoglavlja smatraju kako Hell i Hill House nisu autonomni inicijatori izgreda koji su sposobni samostalno inicirati prije spomenuto proklizavanje između označitelja prividno poznatog i zastrašujuće nepoznatog. Potpoglavlja su stoga pozicionirala Hell i Hill House kao njihove dvojnike upravo zato što se prilikom uništenja antagonista vraćaju u prvobitno stanje pasivnog postojanja. Treće poglavlje, „The Artificial Body as a Spatial Construct“, pristupa umjetnom tijelu kiborga kao prostornom konstruktu na primjeru filma Alexa Garlanda Ex Machina (2015) i romanu Thomasa Bergera Adventures of the Artificial Woman (2004). Potpoglavlja prvotno propituju potencijal kiborga da denaturalizira naturaliziranu koherentnost među kategorijama roda, spola i seksualnosti. Na temelju antiesencijalističkih argumenata Donne Haraway i Judith Butler koji poništavaju premisu da postoje fiksni, suštinski ili urođeni atributi koji predodređuju pojedince kao muškarce ili žene, potpoglavlja smatraju kako tri hiperseksualizirana tijela Ave, Kyoko i Phyllis ne problematiziraju niti raščlanjuju zamršenu međupovezanost među prethodno spomenutim kategorijama. S obzirom na to da su prikazana kao pasivni objekti i/ili projekcije znanstvenikovih seksualnih želja, ova umjetna tijela podcrtavaju mizogine stereotipe koji prožimaju suvremene prikaze kiborga. Središnji argument poglavlja polazi od teorijske pretpostavke Linde McDowell prema kojoj su tijela prvotna mjesta. Odnosno, obilježja „plastičnosti“ i „podatnosti“ naglašavaju kako su tijela podvrgnuta procesu kontinuirane konstrukcije (34). Potpoglavlja zatim tvrde kako se umjetna kiborška tijela transformiraju upisom oniričkog i ne-oniričkog sadržaja. Drugim riječima, oslanjajući se na postavke fenomenologije i humane geografije, tehnološki koncipirana tijela mogu se analizirati kao prostorno promjenjivi konstrukti na koje utječu individualne interakcije. S obzirom na to da Nathan Bateman i Ellery Pierce prvenstveno stvaraju takozvane „seks-botove,“ studije smatraju kako se ne-onirički sadržaj odnosi na podsvjesne želje Anne Balsamo (149). Njezine opservacije omogućuju analizu umjetnog tijela kao mjesta koje je, prema Anthonyju Vidleru, ujedno i reprezentacija potisnutog sadržaja podsvijesti (79). Taj je sadržaj specificiran kao instinktivni impuls koji je pozicioniran kao odstupanje u odnosu na seksualni objekt, kao u Nathanovom slučaju, ili neriješeni edipovski impuls, kao u Elleryjevom slučaju. Stoga, potpoglavlja napominju kako unehimlich ne proizlazi iz osjećaja intelektualne neizvjesnosti, već nastaje kao rezultat desublimacije navodno sublimiranih instinktivnih impulsa. Potpoglavlja zatim pokazuju kako umjetno tijelo nije monstruozno zato što nadilazi naturalizirane kategorije i time prkosi ljudskom nagonu da ga podčini kroz kategorizaciju, što, u konačnici, omogućava stabilizaciju dijalektičkog Drugog. Svi prije spomenuti kiborzi postoje u skladu s kulturološki razumljivim kodovima, kontinuirano se etablirajući unutar kategorija koje tvore termin čovječnosti. Ipak, upravo zato što je ne-čovjek ili ontološki susjedan čovječanstvu, kiborg poziva na počinjenje nasilja i neposredno fizičko iskorištavanje pod okriljem provođenja znanstvenog istraživanja, to jest, istraživanja umjetne inteligencije. Pritom otkriva moralnu monstruoznost Garlandovih i Bergerovih muških znanstvenika koji zlostavljaju tijela kao pasivna mjesta činjenja (Butler, Undoing Gender 52). Posljednje poglavlje, „Non-place“, proučava istoimeni koncept na primjeru televizijske serije Jonathana Nolana i Lise Joy Westworld (2016-) te romana Mikea Bockovena FantasticLand (2016). Na temelju teorijskih postavki Edwarda Relpha, potpoglavlja pozicioniraju Westworld i FantasticLand kao parkove koji su uspostavljeni tehnički-orijentiranim planiranjem koje masovno proizvodi prostore primarno fokusirane na funkcionalnu efikasnost koja, u kontekstu poglavlja, podrazumijeva pružanje nezaboravnog iskustva gostima. Preokupiranost efikasnošću pozicionira dva parka kao jednonamjenske prostore koji nemaju nikakav simbolički značaj. S obzirom da ovakvi prostori ne odražavaju sistemske vrijednosti fenomenologije i humane geografije, oni udovoljavaju svim kriterijima da bi ih se pozicioniralo kao Augéova nemjesta, čija je primarna svrha pružanje pristupa antropološkim mjestima. Polazeći od Augéovog teorijskog postulata, potpoglavlja smatraju kako je primarna svrha dvaju zabavnih parkova zadovoljenje potrebe za realiziranjem fizičkih i psihičkih brutalnosti njihovih posjetitelja. Nakon ulaska u Westworld, gosti ostvaruju apsolutnu anonimnost koja im omogućava uronjenost, to jest, igranje uloga koje se svodi na neometano ispunjavanje njihovih klišeiziranih, kaubojskih fantazija. S druge strane, FantasticLand ne omogućuje odmah prije spomenuto igranje uloga; park postaje poprište agresivnog djelovanja tek nakon destabilizacije njegove strukture, odnosno, nakon udara uragana. Potpoglavlja zatim ističu kako nemjesta nisu sama po sebi nasilna već kako obustava ugovornih obveza, koje osiguravaju apsolutnu anonimnost, negaciju osobnog identiteta i, samim time, neopterećenu igru uloga, omogućava nasilje. Potpoglavlja se referiraju na Havi Carel, i njezinu nedavnu reviziju Freudove nagonske teorije, kako bi pozicionirale igranje uloga kao oblik agresivnog djelovanja, to jest, kao destruktivno ispuštanje sadizma kao jednog od fenomena smrtnog nagona. S obzirom da gosti i bivši zaposlenici dvaju parkova narcisoidno uživaju tijekom zlostavljanja, degradacije i uništavanja domaćina i/ili jedni drugih, pozicionirani su kao moralno monstruozni pojedinci. Prema tome, središnji argument potpoglavlja je da nemjesta razdvojena od realnosti, bilo izravno, kao u Westworldu, ili neizravno, kao u FantasticLandu, potiču artikulaciju moralne monstruoznosti. U konačnici, prema teorijskim postavkama Edwarda Relpha, potpoglavlja pokazuju kako apsolutno odsustvo identifikacije izazvano dugotrajnom igrom uloga na nemjestima utječe na otuđenje od „stvarnog“ svijeta, što potiče krizu identiteta. Ta kriza kulminira ili pomišljanjem na samoubojstvo, kao kod bivših zaposlenika FanasticLanda, ili njegovim počinjenjem, kao kod Westworldovog Logana. Unatoč činjenici da sva četiri poglavlja konstruiraju različite teorijske okvire kroz koje analiziraju specifične prostorne koncepte, ujedinjeni su u naumu da naglase neraskidivu povezanost spomenutih koncepata i subjekata. Drugim riječima, argumentiraju kako se prostor ne može proučavati u izolaciji, to jest, neovisno o procesu pojedinačnog upisa. Analizom međupovezanosti prostornih koncepata i artikulacije monstruoznosti unutar popularne kulture rad će doprinijeti novim spoznajama unutar područja istraživanja koje još uvijek nedovoljno proučeno

48. Hidžab kao fenomen konstruisanja i osporavanja identiteta: primjer savremenog Novog Pazara

Ovaj rad predstavlja razmatranje i analizu odnosa između odjevnog predmeta hidžaba i ženskog tijela koje se može razumjeti kao polje društvenih odnosa i borbi. Pokriveno tijelo muslimanke i značenja koje ono nosi sa sobom moguće je razumjeti i predstaviti kroz više aspekata. U radu se objašnjava fenomen hidžaba kao prostora konstruisanja i osporavanja identiteta na primjeru grada Novog Pazara. Pitanje zabrane nošenja hidžaba, kao i drugih pokrivala muslimanskih žena – nikaba i burke, već godinama predstavlja jedno od aktuelnih pitanja u mnogim (zvanično ili percipiranim kao) sekularnim demokratskim društvima. Iako u Republici Srbiji ovaj problem nije bio aktuelan kao u mnogim zemljama Zapadne Evrope, smatram da antropološka analiza upotrebe hidžaba u Novom Pazaru – koji je od devedesetih godina prošlog vijeka postao vidljiv i značajan element sandžačkog kulturnog miljea – ima kako teorijski, tako i društveni značaj. Analizom tjelesnosti i tjelesnog ponašanja pripadnica islamske vjeroispovjesti sa hidžabom, uz razmatranje ženskog iskustva i ličnog odnosa samih djevojaka prema tijelu, „pokrivanju“ i njihovim identitetima, omogućava nam uvid u jednu ličniju i intimniju, ali i svestraniju perspektivu.

Pokušat ćemo povezati Merleau-Pontyjevo tumačenje tijela-subjekta s idejom medijalnosti. Tijelo tako postaje medijacijska osnova, kako ljudskog tijela spram ljudskog tijela, tako i ljudskog tijela i svijeta te ljudskog tijela i bitka. Unutar fenomenološkog polja mrežnog su-odnošenja odvija se tako korporalna intersubjektivna igra, klasičnim rječnikom rečeno čovjeka i prirode, u kojoj je čovjek konstituiran prirodom kao što je i priroda konstituirana čovjekom i sve to putem tehnike kao onoga što tek treba biti., We will try to link Merleau-Ponty’s interpretation of the body-subject with the idea of mediation. The body thus becomes the mediating part of the human body towards the human body, human body and the world, and also human body and the Being. Dans ce mémoire de master, nous allons analyser la représentation du corps atteint du sida dans les romans autofictionnels À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie et Le protocole compassionnel d'Hervé Guibert. Nous allons examiner l'importance de la corporalité dans l'oeuvre de cet écrivain et aborder la question de la représentation du corps dans des textes littéraires choisis. La maladie a causé une dégradation et aliénation du narrateur envers son corps qu'il décrit en recourant aux métaphores diverses. Nous allons ensuite examiner les changements radicaux dans sa perception de la (homo)sexualité et décrire comment l'impossibilité de celle-ci a entraîné une réinvention de sa propre identité sexuelle dans le contexte de la relation de soin. Enfin, nous allons parler de l'exhibitionnisme, c'est-à-dire de l'exposition du corps dans le public, ainsi que sa représentation par l'intermédiaire du miroir, de la photographie et du film. Dans ce sens, notre analyse sera concentrée sur l'attitude du narrateur à l'égard de l'image de son corps malade et sur les rapports entre le dévoilement et la création littéraire U ovom diplomskom radu analizirat ćemo reprezentaciju tijela oboljelog od side u autofikcionalnim romanima À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie i Le protocole compassionnel Hervéa Guiberta. U kratkim ćemo crtama predstaviti važnost tjelesnosti u autorovom stvaralaštvu i osvrnuti se na problematiku prikaza tijela u književnom tekstu. Bolest je prouzrokovala propadanje i otuđenost tijela koje pripovjedač opisuje pribjegavajući raznim metaforama. Proučit ćemo radikalne promjene u Guibertovoj percepciji (homo)seksualnosti te opisati kako je nemogućnost iste dovela do preosmišljavanja vlastitog seksualnog identiteta u kontekstu odnosa s medicinskim osobljem. Na kraju ćemo se osvrnuti na ekshibicionizam, to jest na izloženost tijela u javnosti, kao i na njegov prikaz u zrcalu, fotografiji i filmu. U tom smislu usredotočit ćemo se na pripovjedačev odnos s prikazom svoga bolesnog tijela i objasniti vezu između razotkrivanja (dévoilement) i književnog stvaranja. In this master's thesis we will analyse Hervé Guibert's writing of his body suffering from AIDS in the autofictional novels À l'ami qui ne m'a pas sauvé la vie and Le protocole compassionnel. We will give an overview of the importance of corporality in author's body of work and address the question of the representation of the body in a literary text. Illness has caused the deterioration and alienation of the body which the narrator describes using various metaphors. We will then examine the radical changes in his perception of (homo)sexuality and describe how its impossibility led to a reinvention of his own sexual identity in the context of the doctor-patient relationship. Finally, we will talk about the exhibitionism, i.e. the exposure of the body in the public, as well as its representation through the mirror, photography and film. In this sense, our analysis will concentrate on the attitude of the narrator towards the image of his sick body and on the link between unveiling (dévoilement) and literary creation.
