The year 2007 marked the transition to a two-level system of educational documents for Czech education, which many described as a revolution. To this day, however, it is evident that for many schools and teachers this change took place only on paper, which also negatively affects the teaching of geography. This work provides an insight into the topics of working with school curriculum and teaching geography from the point of view of lower secondary education geography teachers. The theoretical part is devoted to the history and current system of Czech educational documents. The theory of geography teaching is also outlined. In the practical part, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 21 geography teachers, which made it possible to deepen the understanding of teaching geography and working with school curriculum. Due to the small number of interviewed teachers, the results cannot be considered representative, despite this, the work confirmed the formality of school curricula to a certain level. In many cases, the work of teachers and schools with school curriculum remains very shallow. The character of geography teaching contains significant differences among the teachers, the Czech educational system is highly differentiated. The research also pointed out the weak positions of human geography and fieldwork in the geography education at lower secondary education. The semi-structured interviews contained a total of 18 segments, 9 on working with school curriculum and 9 on selected aspects of geography teaching.

The topic of the diploma thesis is the image of the teaching assistant profession in the system of inclusive education in the Czech Republic, focusing on selected issues, overview according to available literature, surveys, etc. In the empirical part . As a result, a comprehensive picture of the teaching assistant profession will emerge at the end, which will have the ambition to serve, among other things, as a manual for the profession, able to provide a comprehensive idea and concrete answers regarding the work of a teaching assistant. The teaching assistant is currently undoubtedly an integral part of teaching. The aim of the work will be to bring a comprehensive overview of the profession to all possible future assistants, students, parents and each of the lay public with an interest in education and schooling as a whole.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the comparison of the teaching of industrial geography at the lower secondary level in the Czech Republic and England. The theoretical part provides an overview of educational systems and educational documents of the Czech Republic and England with emphasis on the role of geography at lower secondary education. It also outlines a basic theoretical overview of the geography of industry and new trends in this topic, which are addressed by a research of literature. The practical part is focused on the analysis of 6 geography textbooks for lower secondary education by using two partial analyzes. The first analysis observes didactic equipment of textbooks. The second analysis is the content analysis split into the analysis of thematic units of industrial geography and the analysis of concepts from the field of new trends in industrial geography.

The work is focused on current available options and efforts to make education of pupils from different socio-cultural environment accessible. It contains recommendations for educators who come into daily contact with these pupils. The pitfalls and obstacles encountered by teachers, pupils and their parents are also described, who often face a language and communication gap in communication with school facilities themselves. The special educational needs teaching practice varies in many European countries. From the Czech Republic with its strictly differentiated Special Educational Needs framework which belongs under the Special Education, to Great Britain that has great inclusive policies and differentiates the National Curriculum according to each pupil learning needs. During my work experience within special education needs teaching practice in Great Britain and the Czech Republic I have observed the benefits of each system. I would like to share the experience so I have narrowed my interested to the pupils with autistic spectrum disorder and their communication skills. The Slovak Ministry of Education expressed its decision to reform the Slovak education system based on the Finnish one-structure model in the National Education and Training Development Program. This decision can be defined as an attempt to voluntarily transfer education policies. The research is conducted on three levels. First of all, the thesis deals with the motivation of Slovakia to reform its system based on the Finnish model with an emphasis on the role of international rankings in education, especially PISA rankings. This thesis deals with the system of education in the organization State Agricultural Intervention Fund. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on literary research related to education in the organization. In the second part, the research was carried out and evaluated on the basis of a questionnaire survey. The current employees of the Fund were the respondents. The obtained data from the questionnaire survey was evaluated and subsequently evaluated on the basis of the knowledge from the theoretical part of the thesis.

This bachelor work deals with strategies of secondary schools in the fight for students in connection with school management at two similar secondary vocational schools in one region. In this partially neglected issue, attention is paid to the current issue of recruiting new pupils at secondary schools and the associated way of managing and managing the school and its staff within the school management. The issue is viewed from the point of view of describing roles and exercising the functions of education policy actors - namely directors, but also from the point of view of the overall situation in the region. The issue is also explored in the framework of observation directly at two events related to the recruitment of pupils. The basis of the thesis is a comparative case study in which the thesis describes and analyzes the strategies and the offer of two secondary vocational schools that work side by side in one region, but they are undoubtedly different. The aim of the thesis is to compare the educational systems of two European states with different state institutions, history and current political-historical situation. The work will be of comparative character and will be based mainly on the work with the studied literature. The work will use both Czech and Spanish literature. The main benchmarking tool will be the International Standard Classification of Education at ISCED 2011. In the practical part, this classification will be applied to both education systems, and at the end of each level of education there will be comparisons. The result will be a simultaneous evaluation and comparison of the education system of the Kingdom of Spain and the Czech Republic. This bachelor thesis has a comparative character. It focuses on a comparison of educational systems between Czech Republic and Italy. The first theoretical part of the thesis characterizes primary features of both educational systems. Areas of education are briefly described to aid a better orientation in the thesis. The second part contains a comparison of specific areas of educational systems based on data suggested in the first part. As a conclusion, the thesis contains a bilingual glossary with relevant therminology.

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of education and competence development of employees of selected organization XY, which deals with grocery wholesale. It is a multinational organization employing more than 10,000 employees throughout the country. It analyzes the shortcomings and presents suggestions for their improvement, including the quantification of the costs of the current situation and, on the other hand, the cost of the remedy leading to a better functioning of the company. For the practical part of the thesis were using methods as observing, managed interviews and use the company's internal materials. Managed interviews were conducted with employees across the organization. Specifically, these were interviews with row staff, shift managers, HR worker and branch directors. At the end of the thesis, it is possible to find a proposal for a completely new concept of education, which would reduce the existing costs of the organization and increase both the efficiency of the education system and the satisfaction of the employees. New proposal is to create an internal academy, when an internal lecturer is selected in the company and further educates other employees as needed. The half-year pilot project would cost approximately CZK 260,000.

This diploma thesis deals with the ethical education of social workers. First, it deals with the education of social workers in the field of social work and it points to the importance of the standard in the education not only in the field of social work. It also points out the importance of ethics in the education of social workers and the overall education system at universities. At the same time, it examines whether the current education system of the future social workers in the field of ethics is set in such a way that the future social workers gain the necessary knowledge and therefore whether the content of the minimal ethical standard meets the content and effect of teaching the ethics of professors at universities. This thesis compares and contrasts the educational systems of pre-school education in the Czech Republic and Spain. The theoretical part contains chapters devoted to comparative pedagogy and descriptions of pre-school education in Europe, the Czech Republic and Spain. The practical part describes the methodologies employed of qualitative research, observation and interview. In addition there are case studies of two specific kindergartens. The first kindergarten is in the village of Dolni Hermanice in the Czech Republic and the second in the village of Deia on the Spanish island of Mallorca.

Pre-university Educational System and inequalities in Kosovo Edona Begu Master thesis Abstract The institutional structure of the education system is crucial for understanding the educational inequalities. Kosovo is a young country and its education system is undergoing major reforms. Hence, studies and research in the impact that the educational system arrangement has on inequalities barley exist. The main goal of this thesis was to understand the institutional setting of pre-university education system in Kosovo and its impact in inequalities, especially in terms of labour market outcomes, social status outcomes and educational outcomes. After evaluation of Kosovo's education system along standardization and stratification dimensions introduced by Allmendinger, in the widely known typology for educational inequalities, Kosovo's pre-university education resulted to be highly standardized and highly stratified. This thesis focuses on the exploration and analysis of the current state of motivation and stimulation of employees in an organization. Based on the determined level of their motivation and stimulation, particular corrective measures were proposed to increase the employees´ motivation, loyalty to their employer as well as their overall satisfaction with working life. The first stage comprised a review of professional literature, both domestic and foreign, and studies dealing with motivation and stimulation. Using appropriate research methods, the current state of motivation and stimulation of employees in the given organization was analysed. Based on the information gathered from questionnaires and unstructured interviews, the corrective measures were proposed. They could help effectively increase motivation of the employees and strengthen their relationship with the organization.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze and evaluate the employee training system in an auditing company operating on the Czech market. The thesis starts with a theoretical part, which provides basic definitions and description of educational strategies, the process of employee training as well as different training methods. The practical part contains the description of the company and the analysis of its education system and training methods. The main focus of this work lies on technical training, typical of this type of company, and on the area of soft skills education and revitalization of its concept. The article gives an overview of the existence of six selected grammar schools in three towns of eastern Slovakia – Košice, Prešov, and Levoča in years 1944 – 1948. It focused on problems of these grammar schools after WWII (not only material problems, but also problems of teacher qualification). Annual reports were used to provide the information about number of students, their nationalities, religions, etc. The author also discusses out-of-school activities of these schools.

The thesis is devoted to the topic of the educational system in China. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the impact of higher education on competitiveness and to verify the hypothesis that investing in human capital is a key factor in increasing China's competitiveness. Special educator in our school system is an expert, who ensures some professional advice in a school consulting service. His/her position is so far in the Czech Republic a new phenomenon, and schools have different attitudes towards this problem. My bachelor's thesis "Cooperation of pedagogical team with special educator in the elementary school system" deals with some cooperation of class teachers and their assistants with the special educator. In first chapter of theoretical part of this work I deal with an education system. There I elaborate structure of our education system, and the system in other European countries such as Slovakia or Germany, too. I deal in this charter with different types of primary schools and particular consulting services they can offer. In the second chapter I deal with problems of the special educator. There are described his/her activities in school, a benefit for school and for teachers and parents, too. In the last chapter of the theoretical part is defined the concept of the educator, his/her personality and prerequisite for the job. The empirical part of the work presents a research in which I observe an attitudes of a teaching staff to a professional work of the special educator in the elementary school, where was already established his/her working place. In the research were used a semi-structured interviews with classroom teachers and their assistants. I investigated five primary schools in Benešov district where they have some special educator and I was always interviewing two teachers. The purpose of these interviews was to find out how the cooperation between the special educator and the teachers takes place, how often they usually meet and if they are satisfied with their mutual cooperation. From the research comes out that most teachers are satisfied with work of the special educator. Communications take place non-violently, informally, and in a good mood. Pedagogical staff takes the special educator as their colleague and they are not afraid to ask him/her for professional advice. These communications usually take place just between two of them without presence of another teacher. This bachelor thesis should serve as information for improvement of work with children with special educational needs. It might be also used for better understanding of the mentioned topic by public and teaching staff of primary schools.

Autonomy of directors and teachers in the current Chinese educational system Mgr. Radana Wagenknechtová 2015 ABSTRACT This thesis looks at the Chinese educational system and the autonomy that directors and teachers share in the decision making process. It not only examines the educational system as a whole but analyses different levels of the educational system, puts an emphasis on the autonomy of teachers and directors in a school environment, and introduces various school reforms in China since 1976. Consequently, it clarifies the current Chinese educational system with an emphasis on various organizational levels along with the power they have in the decision making process and the options for creating change. Through the study of key documents of the Chinese educational system, political system, and other foreign literature, the legislative processes and documents that are responsible for the Chinese educational policies are made apparent. The thesis compares the official Chinese educational system's documents and processes with the actual situation. Based on this research, the thesis determines the real level of autonomy that directors and teachers possess in the decision making process.

In the contemporary educational setting more and more educators both pre-service and in-service are trying to follow technological advances by integrating them to their educational style. Despite the continuous increase of technological resources that teachers can utilize during instruction along with the efforts made by the Greek educational system to establish more conducive conditions for a computer-centered learning in both primary and secondary education, limited research exists to date regarding the use of technology by computer-literate teachers, let alone the intention of technology use by computer-literate pre-service teachers. Therefore, this study examines the use of technology by pre-service and in-service Greek educators for professional purposes. Results show that pre-service teachers intend to use technology for future professional reasons in a greater degree than in-service teachers actually do, while some aspects of pre-service (Student 1 and Delivery) and in-service (Student 1, Student 2, Student3, Communication and grouping variable Student) teacher technology use are affected by their age and teaching domain.

Due to open immigration policy Sweden is often target destination of non-European immigrants. Because of that Sweden has to force high share number of immigrants in composition of inhabitants and try to make as homogeneous population as possible, which can be noticeably supported by compulsory education. By way of analysis of education system and its documents as well as insight into contemporary situation, this study should help to understand not only the basic ideas of immigrant education, but also consequences, which are brought by dissimilar education of pupils without knowledge of Swedish language, and consider whether all components of that education are of integration or not.

The main focus of the theoretical part is to define the educational systém in the CR after 1989 and to describe stages and types of education. The next part deals whith characteristics of the profession of a teacher and comparison of this profession in the past and nowadays. The thessis also analyses a signifiacant dokument from 2002, called the Natioal programmme for development of education in the CR which is being compared to s strategic material of current education from 2014, called Strategy of an educational policy of the CR until 2020. The next part of the thesis deals with a prestige of the teaching profession and it describes the main problems which the teachers have to deal with. The method used in theoretical part is the study of specialized literky sources, making notes and analysis and synthesi sof the notes. The main of the practical part is to find out the main causes of dissatisfaction of the teachers with their jobs. The method of the research is a questionnaire. The teaching staff of secondary schools and vocational schools will be the respondents in the South-Moravian region The data obtained in the research will be processed by using descriptive statistics.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to answer the question whether the number of graduates from high schools and universities corresponds to the needs of the labor market in Carlsbad region. To achieve this goal the basic notions of education and labor market are explained in the theoretical section. After that, the role of education in the labor market and regional development is described. All levels of the educational system and the labor market in the Czech Republic is characterized in the next chapter together with legislative framework and basic conceptual documents according to the Czech educational system. Next chapter contains characteristics of the educational system in Carlsbad region. The last section is devoted to the labor market, analysis of vacancies registered by labor offices and the situation of graduates on the labor market. The results of the thesis show that there is not enough technically oriented graduates from high schools. The regional leaders try to deal with this situation and encourage students to study technical fields. Offer of graduates from higher vocational schools meets the needs of the labor market. The situation with university education is more complicated. Firstly, there is a lack of technical fields and the second problem is leaving of university graduates from the region. Even in this case there is apparent attempt of regional representatives to solve this problem and adapt the educational system so it can better reflect the needs of the labor market.

The Bachelor thesis deals within its theoretical part with international education evaluations and assessment. It shows latest data from PISA 2012 and Pearson's Learning Curve. It further explains essential theoretical background especially the International Standard Classification of Education, the national curriculum theory, models of education systems and basics of an educational environment. Practical part of the thesis focuses on data analysis from OECDs' sources and outputs from studies of other authors. It elaborates the functioning of education systems in Finland and South Korea. Subsequently it brings results that education systems of both countries operate on the opposite principle. The Finnish education system works with positive motivation and collaboration while the Korean educational system works with negative motivation and competition. A common feature is the quality of teachers and an uniform school model without selective education.

The Czech Republic and Scotland rank similarly in international pupil's performance tests. However, education systems of these countries differ greatly. This research has three main focus areas: 1) general aspects of Scottish education including teaching methods, school and real life connections in teaching, and school leaver's destinations 2) studying Chemistry and teaching at university 3) Chemistry in the senior phase of secondary education and the change of topics and exam paper brought in with the new Curriculum for Excellence. Comparative analysis of syllabi, exam papers, government publications and OECD reports was used and personal experience from an exchange study programme at a Scottish university and a work placement at a secondary school in England were utilized. Results show that Czech students are taught different things and are accustomed to different ways of being tested, ones that are more focused on knowledge and less on critical thinking. The thesis analyzes the development of the knowledge society. It focuses on the comparison of the ideal and the reality of education in modern society and charts the transformation of schools and education in the 20th century. This thesis is mainly based on sociological literature focusing on the issue. This thesis defines the concepts of knowledge society, education and education systems. The main goal of our work is to present educational system in the Czech Republic and Spain, and analyze lexical units in the field of education occurring in the theoretical part. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains the comparison of Czech and Spanish educational system and the practical part contains the analysis of lexical units from educational field. The paper deals with the issue of education and training in the area of security in the education system. First, it is focused on the education as the opportunity in the field of protection of population where a strategic analysis of population protection applying the SWOT method for the most frequent factors in the analysis of a pertinent issue is used. Next, the main participating subject operating in the area of security education is highlighted. The conclusion is aimed at the system of security education and the perspectives of its development.
