Objective To explore the clinical effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine collapse stains combined with wax therapy in the treatment of urinary dysfunction in patients with multiple system atrophy. Methods A total of 30 patients with multiple system atrophy accompanied by urinary dysfunction were divided into observation group and control group according to the time sequence of hospital admission, with 15 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment and nursing, and the observation group was treated with Traditional Chinese Medicine collapse stains combined with wax therapy based on the control group. The therapeutic effect of the two groups was compared by using Overactive Bladder Symptom Score (OABSS). Results The total score of OABSS was decreased in both two group after treatment, and OABSS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0. 05). Conclusion Traditional Chinese Medicine collapse stains combined with wax therapy can effectively relieve urinary dysfunction and improve the quality of life of the patient with multiple system atrophy, and it is worth promoting. (目的 探讨中药塌渍联合蜡疗治疗多系统萎缩患者排尿障碍的效果, 总结护理体会。方法 选取2023年1月—8月科室收治的30例多系统萎缩伴排尿障碍患者为研究对象, 根据入院时间顺序分为观察组和对照组, 各15例。对照组给予常规治疗及护理, 观察组在对照组的基础上增加中药塌渍联合蜡疗治疗。采用膀胱过度活动症状评分(OABSS)进行疗效评估。结果 治疗后两组患者OABSS总分较治疗前降低(P＜0. 05), 且观察组OABSS总分低于对照组(P＜0. 05)。结论 中药塌渍联合蜡疗可进一步改善多系统萎缩患者排尿障碍, 有助于提升患者的生活质量。)

With advantage of obvious curative effect, easy-to-operate process, convenient in practice and less adverse reactions, wax therapy is proven to be effective to relieve symptoms of multiple diseases. This paper reviewed studies on principle, mechanism and clinical application of wax therapy, as well as nursing measures during treatment, and provided reference for researches on standardization and practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine was therapy technique. Objective To investigate the application effect of wax therapy combined with Reyanbao in patients with knee osteoarthritis with wind-cold-dampness impediment type. Methods A total of 114 patients with wind-cold-dampness arthralgia syndrome from January 2020 to November 2021 were randomly divided into three groups:groups A(the control group), B(the wax therapy group) and C(the wax therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine Yanbao group), with 38 cases in each group. Group A received routine treatment and HYJ anti-inflammatory machine(Chongqing Shuming Technology Development Co., Ltd., HYJ-III) and intermediate frequency therapy(Chengdu Qianli Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. ). Group B received wax therapy on the basis of routine treatment, and group C received wax therapy combined with self-made traditional Chinese medicine Yanbao on the basis of routine treatment. After two weeks, the scores of quality of life measurement(AIMS2-SF), pain score and the total score of osteoarthritis efficacy index of McMaster University in Western Ontario, Canada were compared before and after treatment. Results The pain score of group C was lower than that of the first two groups, and the quality of life score of group C was more than 86, which was higher than that of the other two groups. After treatment, the total treatment efficiency of group C was 97. 3%, the total effective rate of group B was 76. 3%, and the total effective rate of group A was 50. 0%. Conclusion Wax therapy combined with self-made traditional Chinese medicine Yanbao is safe and effective in the treatment of patients with wind-cold-dampness arthritic knee osteoarthritis, and can effectively improve the quality of life of patients. This paper summarizes the nursing experience of a patient with cervical spondylopathy treated by Traditional Chinese Medicine collapse combined with electric wax therapy. Nurses had conducted a comprehensive nursing assessment, followed by dietary guidance and other routine nursing interventions. Based on the syndrome differentiation, the Traditional Chinese Medicine collapse combined with wax therapy was carried out to relieve the pain caused by cervical spondylopathy and improve the patient’s quality of life. Objective To investigate the effect of Yao medicine collapse stains combined with wax therapy in the treatment of chronic lumbar muscle strain. Methods A total of 138 patients with chronic lumbar muscle strain were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 69 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment, rehabilitation and nursing interventions. On this basis, the observation group was treated with wax therapy on the basis of routine treatment. The clinical efficacy, the degree of lumbar pain and the quality of life of the two groups were compared. Results The overall effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (84. 41% vs. 72. 46%, P＜0. 05). The score of Visual Analogue Scale on pain decreased in both two groups after intervention, and was lower in the observation group than that in thecontrolgroup (P＜0. 01). The score of Short Form Quality of Life Questionnaire (SF-36)increased in both two groups after intervention, and was higher in the observation group than that in the control group (P＜0. 01). Conclusion Yao medicine collapse stains combined with wax therapy may improve the therapeutic effect of chronic lumbar muscle strain, relieve waist pain and improve the quality of life of patients. (目的 观察瑶药塌渍蜡疗治疗慢性腰肌劳损的效果。方法 选取2021年1月—7月医院收治的慢性腰肌劳损患者138例为研究对象, 随机分为观察组与对照组, 各69例。对照组进行常规治疗、康复护理, 观察组在对照组基础上实施瑶药塌渍蜡疗干预。评估两组临床疗效, 对比干预前后两组腰部疼痛程度及生活质量。结果 观察组总有效率84. 41%(61/69), 高于对照组的72. 46%(50/69), 差异有统计学意义(P＜0. 05)。干预后两组疼痛视觉模拟量表(VAS)评分较干预前下降, 且观察组VAS评分低于对照组, 差异有统计学意义 (P＜0. 01)。干预后两组36条简明健康状况调查表(SF-36)评分较干预前上升, 且观察组SF-36 评分高于对照组, 差异有统计学意义 (P＜0. 01)。结论 瑶药塌渍蜡疗法可提高慢性腰肌劳损患者治疗效果, 减轻腰部疼痛, 提升患者生活质量。)

This paper introduced the origin of wax therapy technology and its clinical application in cervical spondylosis, osteoarthritis, gynecological diseases, skin diseases, nervous system and digestive system diseases. The clinical application status of wax therapy is summarized as follows, in order to provide more ideas and basis for clinical research. Glyceryl stearate and cassava starch (CS) composites were prepared by an esterification process. Formulations containing starch at various concentrations were prepared, being 1, 1.5, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 30 % by weight, respectively. The characteristics of pH, moisture content, FTIR, melting point, latent heat, thermal energy storage, and specific heat capacity of composites were elucidated. The optimal formulation contained 1 % w /w CS, this indicated that the composite was able to maintain its temperature for 9.4 ± 0.5 min, with a melting temperature of 51.9 ± 0.3 °C, solidification temperature of 36.1 ± 1.6 °C, latent heat of fusion of 120 ± 10 J/g, and latent heat of solidification of 126 ± 3 J/g, and specific heat capacity of 2.6 ± 0.2 J/g.K. New bonds were formed in the composite structure of glyceryl stearate and CS at these levels. The composite had a pH that was safe for contact with human skin and a moisture content that could be kept stable for a prolonged time. The innovation and the advantages of a composite materials: 1. Therefore, composites have a high potential as are replacement for paraffin wax bath therapy. • Glyceryl stearate/CS composite shows thermal energy storage efficiency for use in relief from arthritis pain. • Glyceryl stearate/CS composite is an alternative for replacement paraffin wax. • A numerical investigation reveals the addition a small amount of CS content can bring the melting temperature similar to paraffin wax. Objective:To observe the curative effects of traditional Chinese medicine mud inunction combined with wax therapy on relieving plantar flexor spasms and reducing muscle tension in children with spastic cerebral palsy.Methods:60 spastic cerebral palsy children were randomly assigned to treatment group (n=30) and control group (n=30), the treatment group received traditional Chinese medicine mud inunction combined with wax therapy, and the control group received traditional Chinese medicine bath combined with wax therapy for three courses, 30 minutes each time, one times per day, 20 days as a course.
