Abstract
- The article discusses the educational application of "Inanimate Alice," a transmedia online novel and storytelling project developed by author Kate Pullinger, digital artist Chris Joseph and producer Ian Harper, that is being used as a literacy tool. Topics include the use of the series as a literacy and thematic tool and tips for aligning the novel with learning standards in the U.S. including the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and the Common Core State Standards.
