Abstract

A novel δ-Dawson [(WO5)3W14Mn2 IIIO44Cl2]12- compound induced by the Jahn-Teller distortion of Mnm has been synthesized through utilizing {MnIII} as a reactant, which exhibits photocatalytic H2 evolution activity.
