Visualized discrimination of ATP from ADP and AMP through collapse of supramolecular gels.

A supramolecular gel was fabricated through mixing of a cationic gelator with methyl orange. The addition of ATP into the gel caused a distinct gel-collapse, whereas ADP and AMP preserved the gel formation.
