Abstract
- The article presents suggestions to prevent the early demise of liquid chromatography (LC) columns. It is noted that somewhere around 500-600 dollars is the typical cost of reversed-phase column. It is mentioned that even though the price of an individual column still seems high, nothing much has been done to reduce the cost of analysis.
