Abstract
- Ordered mesoporous silica material MCM-41 with covalently anchored boric acid groups located inside the mesochannels has been utilized as an acid catalyst for the 'green' synthesis of 2-aryl-2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1 H)-one derivatives under solvent-free condition. This novel synthetic method offers advantages, such as excellent yields, simple reaction procedure, short reaction times and mild reaction conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
