Breves notas sobre la investigación lingüística en Colombia.

Throughout the times, the study and research of Colombian Spanish has been a preoccupation of national and international researchers in grammar, philology and linguistics, who have developed research on the evolution and the future of the language used in Colombia as a vehicle of interaction and communicative relation. For this reason, the objective of this article is to present to Colombians and abroad the development and current state of the studies and research that has been developed on language in Colombia. In the same way, we will mention the authors and public and private institutions that have marked the stages of development of linguistic research, together with a succinct analysis of the methods and contributions of this body of work.
