Abstract

The article discusses the findings of an investigation led by former U.S. federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.) director Robert S. Mueller that examined the National Football League's (N.F.L.) response to a domestic abuse case involving N.F.L. player Ray Rice. Topic addressed include Mueller's findings that the league did not aggressively pursue information about the case, a video showing Rice punching his then fiancée, and N.F.L. commissioner Roger Goodell's handling of the league's response.
