Abstract

The article focuses on a randomized controlled trial which compares the effectiveness of two procedures increasing the botulinum toxin type A effect for wrist and finger flexor spasticity after stroke. Topics discussed include observation of patients with upper limb post-stroke spasticity, botulinum toxin type A therapy and employment of procedures for muscle lengthening.
