Abstract: The article looks at a guideline for the management of amyloid light-chain (AL) amyloidosis. Topics discussed include use of first line treatment with combination chemotherapy, use of Thalidomide in combination with cyclophosphamide and dexamethasone, and need of taking precautions during the use of Thalidomide in patients with cardiac stage III disease.
