Abstract

The article describes the case of a nine-year old boy with painful lesions on the sole of both his fee. The patient was diagnosed with palmoplantat eccrine hidradenitis (PEH) following histological examination of the neutrophilic infiltrate around and within the eccrine cells. Characteristics of PEF include erythematous violaceous papules and nodules on the soles of children. Risk factors to PEH development include physical activity and hyperhidrosis.
