Abstract
- The article assesses the effectiveness of non-equipment based rehabilitation interventions in hearing or visually impaired older adults. No significant effects are found of such intervention on emotional and functional status, self-efficacy, and social participation of the patients. The potential of problem-solving as an effective approach for positively affecting emotional status is also mentioned.
