Abstract

A conference paper is presented related to the citizen activism in Vietnam on water governance issue for the 2014 Annual Meeting of the American Political Science Association on August 28-31, 2014. Topics discussed include communication between local stakeholders in Mekong delta and the Mekong River Commission on water resource management of the region, the role of international Nongovernmental organizations on framing state policy, and role of regional organizations in political activism.
