Abstract
- Surgery for emphysema is considered as one of the most challenging procedure for anaesthesiologist. Because of the critical illness of such patient, perioperative monitoring is important. Ventilatory monitoring is often difficult or impossible due to a possible massive air leak during the procedure. This case described how ETCO2 was assessed by capnography monitoring on the chest tube drainage. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
