Abstract

The article offers news briefs related to European public health. The governance and the need for enabling and rewarding joint action have been addressed and emphasized. The Glasgow 2014 conference has been showcased as an excellent and much needed tool for communication. The new leadership role for European Public Health Association (EUPHA) has been elaborated.
