Abstract
- The article discusses the rising trend of public library gift shops which stock merchandise such as used books, stationary, and local artwork and how they raise money and awareness for libraries. Topics include how the Seattle Public Library in Seattle, Washington cultivated a regional theme in its gift shop, how Erin Zlotnik designed and manages the boutique shop for the San Diego Public Library in San Diego, California, and the use of popup library gift shops.
