Core Outcomes for Catholic Religious Education.

The article discuses the common core outcomes for Catholic religious education in the U.S. public schools. These outcomes include a multidimensional relationship with God, active participation as Church, and an appreciation of one's life as being oriented toward contributing in the reign of God. Also outlined is the common core curriculum developed by the nonprofit organization U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) in response to a decline in Catholic literacy.
