- Suggests that the main lines of French president Charles de Gaulle's foreign policy will not change after his reelection. Summary of his diplomacy which includes the issue of growing strain on the Atlantic Alliance; Crisis of the Common Market; Loosening of French ties with Bonn; Rapprochement with Moscow and the Soviet-bloc countries; Cultivation of his good relations with Peking; Use of the special position of France toward Japan and the underdeveloped countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America as a tool for raising the prestige of France.
