Abstract
- The article discusses the art of woodcut illustrations seen in children's books. Topics covered include the description of woodcutting as a kind of relief painting that uses wood blocks and papers. Also mentioned is the illustration of such form of art in some children's books such as "Aesop's Fables" in 1784.
