Abstract

The article discusses research which investigated body weight support (BWS) accuracy of the AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill. Topics explored include the experimental protocol observed such as machine calibration and predicted weight calculation, statistical analyses of predicted and measured mean weights gathered, and the factors that need to be considered by coaches before incorporating the AlterG treadmill in exercise programs.
