Abstract

Mathematical model for the description of deformation of a porous metal is constructed on the basis of generalized rheological method, taking into account change in the resistance to external loads, when the collapse of pores occurs. Irreversible deformation is described with the help of yield condition, modeling the plastic loss of stability of a porous skeleton. For a homogeneous porous medium the fields of displacements and stresses in the problem of radial expansion of spherical and cylindrical cavities under the action of internal pressure considering the effect of collapse of pores are constructed in closed form. The algorithm of numerical realization of the model of dynamic deformation of metal foams on multiprocessor computer systems of the cluster type is worked out. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
