Abstract
- The article discusses the synthesis of Quinolines by Friedlander annulations which is promoted by Polymer-bound Sulfonic Acid. Topics include application of Quinolines as anti-malerial, anti-bacterial, and anti-inflammatory agent, Friedlander annulations being the simplest methods for synthesis of Quinolines, and significance of Poly (AMPS-co-AA) catalyst in the process of synthesis.
