Planned homebirth: not a Dutch treat for export.

The article presents the author's views on an article on perinatal mortality and morbidity after birth in a large population of women in the Netherlands, published in this issue. The study claims that no significant differences were found in neonatal death up to 28 days and the rates of intrapartum between planned home and planned hospital births among low-risk women.
