Abstract

The article focuses on content and language integrated learning (CLIL) and bilingual/multilingual education in Hong Kong. The author discusses the importance of second language acquisition, explores the use of English as a language of instruction in Hong Kong secondary classrooms, and examines students' metalinguistic awareness.
