Potentiometric sensors for the determination of some cephalosporin antibiotics in biological fluids and medicinal preparations.

Potentiometric sensors based on ion associates of Cefalexin, Cefuroxime, and Cefixime with tetraalkylammonium cations are developed. The sensors ensure the determination of cephalosporin antibiotics in a wide analytical range of 1 × 10 (1 × 10) to 1 × 10 (0.1) M; the values of c ∼ n × 10 (10) M. The sensors can be used for the determination of cephalosporins in biological fluids for the adjustment and optimization of treatment and for determining the main substance in pharmaceuticals.
