Abstract

The article reports on preventing gender disparities in science and technology field in the U.S. The number of women who begin their studies in science and technology field drops at every stage of educational and professional advancement. Women account for only 39 percent of bachelor's degrees in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
