DISTRIBUIÇÃO ESPACIAL DA SAZONALIDADE DA PRECIPITAÇÃO PLUVIOMÉTRICA NO MATO GROSSO DO SUL E ESTUDO DE ANOMALIAS INTERANUAL.

On the territory of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul happens the passage of important atmospheric systems in South America, resulting in great diversity seasonal rainfall. With the objective of analyzing the seasonal variation of rainfall in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, its performed a study of spatial and temporal variability of rainfall, analyzing the results with the aid of Rainfall Anomaly Index (RAI). It was used monthly mean seasonal and annual rainfall series of historical rainfall data obtained from data published by the Geological Survey of Brazil. The mathematical interpolation used for the spatial rainfall volume during wet and dry, was the Topo to Raster. In the statistical averages are calculated temporal rainfalls for the period of 30 years, required for the calculation of the RAI, which serves to classify periods of dry or wet years according to local media. In the dry period the largest volumes are precipitated in the southern state, where is the Atlantic Forest biome. As a main result, it was determined that the hydrological year in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul starts in September, and its wet season from September to May and the dry season from June to August.
